‘I’m dying’ – Son shares desperate 999 calls

This is heart-breaking. A son tried his best to get an ambulance, calling 999 five times to report mum was having trouble breathing. His final call was to tell the call handler it was too late as his mother had stopped breathing. It's hard listening to the call without feeling a combination of anger and deep sadness. This is what voting for cuts in public spending causes.

That’s quite disturbing. My heart goes out to the son. I hope he knows that there was nothing else he could’ve done on his end. It obviously wasn’t his fault.
