A.I. to 'sweeten' DYNASTY ?

If you could use Artificial Intelligence -- and, let's face it, any intelligence on DYNASTY would be artificial by default -- to "sweeten" the old episodes, how would you use it?

I don't necessarily mean the scripts, plots or dialogue (although that's a thought), but the physical imagery.

Firstly, I'd add snow-capped Rocky Mountains to shots of La Mirage, The Carlton, Carrington Farms/Delta Roe (since it's the same place), the mansion, and remove all those palm trees you'd see (as there are none in Denver, let alone Ted Dinard's funeral on the plains of North Dakota). I'd also attempt to de-flat-light numerous scenes within the mansion itself. And spiff up some rooms, most notably Alexis' office and her Carlton suite -- so drab they both are.

Actually, you could've used pre-A.I. CGI to do some of that already.

So basically, you want to make Denver look like Denver, I take it.

That's who would have been playing them in Season 6...

Not if my A.I. gods have anything to say about it.

Besides, StevenNumberOne returns in Season 6, and imposter StevenNumberTwo is ousted from Denver forever (following a Steven-on-Steven dogfight which anticipates Krystle & Rita by a couple of months)... And Emma Samms, lovely as a picture, is a Fallmont.

Today, we could use A.I. to re-animate Jim Davis' Jock Ewing and have him beat up Wes Parmalee at the 1986 barbecue just before Wes takes off... Just think about all the fun!

The same could be done w/the first Fallon (Martin) against the second, pseudo-Fallon (Samms, which, as you said, was really a Fallmont).

Yes, but there's nothing to be done with Jack Coleman other than to play a bitchy imposter who is then exposed and banished.

Why would TrueFallon beat up a Fallmont? -- unless it's some weird lesbian thing, and that could happen

Emma Samms should have played Monica Colby (if Tracy Scoggins had replaced Pamela Sue Martin as Fallon).
Or Jeff Colby's half sister (the child of Francesca and her second husband).

There was no need for more Fallmonts, 4 was already too much.

Oh, I want far more Fallmonts... Did the family work? Absolutely not. But I want a doomed, wealthy blueblood family with whom the Carringtons can socialize with (who are not "Hollywood rich" like the Carringtons or Colbys).

Obviously, that wasn't what they did with the Fallmont clan, but they shoulda. I want to see it.

One has to make it up in order to imagine it. As it's so far away from what happened, but...

I want to see Bart Fallmont neutralized and re-cast and re-named, maintaining a much longer relationship with Steven (even if they have to sanitize it to skirt around ABC). I want the Moldavian queen mother (when Alexis is briefly on the throne) to also be related to the Colbys (ideally, Jason's aunt, who replaces Stanwyck when Missy takes leave of her role) and a matriarchal relative of the Fallmonts who sits around making snide assessments of her pathologically depressed brood and saying what the audience is thinking about them -- she's connected to everybody...I want to find out that the scandal Emily Fallmont is most afraid of isn't that she had an affair with Ben twenty (or, really, thirty) years ago, but that she "accidentally" killed Buck's starlet mistress with a drug overdose which occurred in one of those Carrington guest houses adjacent to the garages.

When the biblical avalanche sends the family and Adam & Dana's wedding reception guests cascading down the slopes of Scorpio Peak, most of the Fallmonts are killed -- except for Emerald (Emma Samms). Oh, and Clay dies, too. Alongside Emily, Buck, maybe the old lady (Ursula??) who is connected to all the families somehow...

And there's an old political scandal back in the day, where Buck or his father sided fatefully against Blake in a business conflict with Colby Enterprises and Jason Colby (which is the beginning of the fallout between Blake, Jason and Buck).

I dunno what else -- just write it!!

There's so much to do with them in the last-half of Season 6 and Season 7. Even if it can never happen.

Well, Fox (or whatever his altername name is) survived the avalanche, unlike the rest of his - boring - family.

The Fallmonts were indeed terribly boring, but DYNASTY could no longer do "cultured" and "doomed," and that's what they should've been: polished, clinically depressed and doomed. A Greek tragedy waiting to happen.

While Ursula makes brutal fun of them.

Until the avalanche.

I'd have Amanda and Caress disappear, too. Amanda's dead but Caress reappears in Season 10 as the culprit who'd set Sable on the trail of The Collection after Jason divorced her. (That thick 'packet of stuff' that Aunt Agatha Scott gave Alexis' sister, back in one installment in Season 6, giving Caress the key to the secrets of WW2, dontchya know).

It's almost like there's something wrong with me.

Well, they treated her like she'd died anyway. Maybe American Amanda could eat Clay to death, and the gastritis sends her to Europe for treatment.

it's happened before.

Or Emma Samms could have played Leslie Carrington (or Caress' daughter). Or heck, even Bliss Colby, because I despised Claire Yarlett's complete lack of both acting skills and charisma.
