I will watch this but to be honest, I don’t have high expectations for it. It’s a good cast but it essentially looks like a redo of Nick Love’s film The Business. It looked very flash but was basically an extended music video with a plot that was wafer thin. I could be eating my words but I’m really just expecting a good soundtrack, nice 80’s stylings and few big action sequences.

I want to go in with less expectations but the trailer really pulls me in and I usually enjoy a good 80s feel of a show. I’m also giddy about the possible soundtrack.

I am feeling a little cautious of it trying to resemble a Tarantino movie.

In fairness, The Business was 18 years ago now so I’m presuming Love’s style has evolved since then but the theme is basically the same. Have you watched any of his recent series Bulletproof? I’ve never seen it but that could be a good gauge of what to expect.

No, and I just checked out his other work to see if I had seen anything and I can say that would be a big fat no. If this series works for me, I will probably check out some of his other stuff.

I would give it a chance but I’m gonna go with low expectations on this one. The trailer didn’t exactly pull me in yet.

I can't make my mind up about singing along to the songs, part of me is thinking pure cringe, while the other part of me is finding it rather amusing. I'm sure most of us have been guilty of singing along while acting out the song lyrics with one another. But does it fit in with the story and characters...?

It has guilty pleasure written all over it. I think it’s going to be one of those things that the more you watch the more your opinion of it can change.
