Here’s an idea for something using connections to the 4 prime time soaps of the 80’s but all new character with cameos from the 80’s star. The show would be a group of 6 friends “coming of age” though in their 30’s, in a world of the 1% that Dallas/Knots Landing, Falcon Crest and Dynasty represented: 1. Boaz “Bo” Harper Ewing - blond, Protestant, son of JR Ewing, brother of John Ross Ewing, owns 42% of Ewing Enterprises (private), a complete playboy, his brother has sent to D.C. to help with the Ewing Network (organization of libertarian and conservative think tanks and candidates supported by the Ewing’s) 2. Dia-Li “Dia” Chi (Chi Dia-Li) - Asian, Buddhist, great nephew of Chao-Li Chi and son of An-Li, controlling shareholder in the Matheson Winston Group (Hong Kong. And London), college drop out dealing with learning disabilities, artist living off family trusts, pansexual, he moved to D. C. with a secret former boyfriend who was married a woman and became a congressman 3. Carol “Champ” Garrett Simmons - black, Jewish, Jackie Boydston’s son, Dominique Deveraux’s grandson, several well invested trust funds from his grandparents, University of Michigan college QB, class President and summa cum laude in public policy, aspiring politician working in a Senator’s office 4. Matheson “Mattie” Winston Sumner - brunette, gay, atheist, androgynous, Paige and Greg Summer’s son, self made millionaire from his social media start up, BendX (moving company to Baltimore) 5. Eleanor “Ellie” Julia Cumson Bennet - Hispanic, Catholic, daughter of Lance and Pilar Cumson, niece of Richard Channing (Seer or ‘Cisco), owns 10% of the Gioberti Family Estates (wineries) given to her by her father, lobbyist for the IMA (Intoxicants Manufactures Association), divorced, single mother 6. Malika “Mooshie” bint Abbas ibn Farouk Al Ahmed - Arab, devout Muslim, granddaughter of Farouk Ahmed and great niece of Rashid Ahmed, President of the Ahmed Family Foundation, global philanthropic foundation (former Vice President of Alahmed Global in internal affairs and serial entrepreneur)
