[QUOTE="Piggyrella Sanderson, post: 439326, member: 82"] Time passing has been kind to the show (as has been to "Dallas") through nostalgy and their relevance in pop culture, but I can remember that, in the 70s, the ladies were treated as cover girls and little more. The word actress was hardly used to refer to them. But I´m talking from the POV of Spanish viewers and press, not the kindest with American series. When some of them started doing (highly publicized) movies, then they seemed to "discover" that they were actresses "too": Kate with "Making Love" (it was promoted with TV spots), Jaclyn with "Jackie Kennedy" (which had a shorter version that went straight to theaters) and Cheryl, especially with her singing appearance in a commercial for Catalan cava, the same one that Victoria P. promoted in 1987, just after hitting the road (fast) after exiting "Dallas". There also was Morgan Fairchild´s "The Seduction" (in Spain "Strange Seduction") that was announced as if it were a pseudo p*rn ("she is being watched", "he wants to be her lover" and other stupid lines). I must confess that I did go to see it to a theater because of the "Flamingo Road" fame, before I saw what a pile of trash the show was... Oh Spaniards were so horny after the dictator´s death...
