Even though he's barely out of school, he knows more than most that he faces an uphill trudge with possibly not a horizon in view if he makes it. But he refuses to give up that small spark of hope.</p><p></p><p>Hindsight only adds more layers to Damon's dialogue. Yesterday I happened to walk very close to the spot where Simon O'Brien filmed his final scenes as Damon. It was by no means a planned tie-in, but realising this has added even more meaning to the hopes for his future expressed here.</p></blockquote><p></p>
