Consecutive capital letters in thread titles

It is not longer is possible to include consecutive capital letters in thread titles.

Recently, I tried to post different threads with UK, USA and EU in the title and in each case it converts everything after the initial capital into lower case characters, i.e. Uk, Usa and Eu.

Am I doing something wrong or is this something I just have to accept and get used to?

I've noticed some thread titles force the creator to use title case no matter what is written. So rather than "Consecutive capital letters in thread titles", it reads "Consecutive Capital Letters In Thread Titles", which isn't ideal, especially when capitals are needed for emphasis, clarity or (as in the initialisms you mentioned above) correctness.

Afraid I can't explain why it's happening, nor is there anything I can do to alter it, but hopefully there may be a way to change it.

I think I have resolved both of these issues. I tested it out by editing the "USA Soaps - The Vote" thread title and it seems to have worked.

Edit: I also tested it out by editing the title of this thread and that seems to have worked as well.

Thank you for dealing with this.
