Fallon’s UFO couldn’t have gotten her up those stairs any quicker!
I’ve always said that of all the times I’ve seen rich people leave a fundraiser to go out in the woods by themselves only to end up at the bottom of a mud pit that that one was clearly the best! And the dialogue between them while they’re both sitting there is just plain hysterical
You are so underestimating Jeanette's willpower.Fallon’s UFO couldn’t have gotten her up those stairs any quicker!
Isn't the kitchen like "behind" the dining room? I always imagine it being a rather cramped room at the back of the house and not having direct link to the dinning room, and you walk right out in the garden if you use the door Alexis came through when living at her studio. But, it's fuuun. I've already gone through my obsessive Hamptons mansions virtual tours, baking recipes / food porn & European cities tram rides phases. Gotta do something while I #StayAtHome.
Oh, according to Adam (speaking to Samantha in season 4), the gym is located somewhere in that part of the house. Now, if the Carrington mansion were indeed a carbon copy of Filoli (hey, I don't have to put a hyphen or dot to avoid the LOL emoji anymore? things have sure changed around here), you could perhaps have it in the study next to the library. But, that's where the dining room and the kitchen are. Speaking of which, where exactly is the kitchen!? I know it's next to the dining room, but judging by the hallway there's no more building beyond the dining room.
The set doesn't match the outline of Filoli. The Carrington's dining room is in the same location as Filoli's study - the end corner of the house. There is a butler's pantry off the dining room before you enter the kitchen. During the first two seasons there are French doors at the end of the hall outside the dining room, I think they replaced them with the statuary niche so that it would make more sense having the butler's pantry on the other side of the wall. The butler's pantry could be a narrow section of the house (called a "hyphen") leading to a wing that houses the kitchen. There appears to be an entrance off of the kitchen past the refrigerator (we see Alexis entering and exiting the house through it several times during season two), in my mind there should be a back staircase there but we never see what is back there or how far that part of the house extends. The set would make much more sense if the dining room was positioned at the front of the house past the foyer.Isn't the kitchen like "behind" the dining room?
