I really liked Alison when she first became part of the Crossroads cast but after she had her scar removed she became far more annoying. However, I think that was a natural progression for her character as she became much more liberated once she felt she wasn't being held back by her appearance.My guess was that it was taken off the air to accommodate the Olympics which ITV used to screen back then.</blockquote>
