Thank you for sharing your pilot script with us. :) I like the way you're writing most of the characters and the dialogue is really good with some references/phrases from the past. :) I like little touches like John Ross kissing his parents wedding photo as it shows emotions. I like Chris being the bad one and John Ross the good one. I like that his relationship with Sue Ellen is complicated and how he is blaming himself and her for his father's death. I like the idea of it picking up at Miss Ellie's funeral as it brings the characters back to the ranch in a natural way. I like the cameos by Ray, Donna, Lucy, Val and Gary. I love that Gary and Val are still happy together, as they were when we last saw them on Knots Landing. :) However it's a bit strange that Ray is refered to as Ray Ewing as his name was always Ray Krebbs on the show. Also I am missing some younger Ewing generation characters like Ray & Donna's daughter Margaret and Jenna & Bobby's son Lucas as well as Jenna Wade Krebbs. (Not sure if she would still be married to Ray though). I don't like the idea of Pam being dead however as her story was left unfinished on the original show and a lot of fans wanted her to return and try to patch up her relationship with Christopher sort of like Rebecca did with her on the original Dallas. I don't like the idea of JR committing suicide either, even if it was sort of implied by the original ending. :( By now it's too late as Larry is gone and we can never have JR again so if there will ever be a Dallas mini-series or something to wrap the story up it will have to be done without him. But in 2012 Larry was still around and the fans were happy to see him return. In fact most of the buzz the new Dallas generated in the summer of 2012 was about how people were excited to see JR & Sue Ellen again (a lot of fans hoped they would reunite) and to see JR & Bobby again. The relationship between the brothers were always fascinating as well. Just some feedback.
