Thank you everyone for your replies. I do appreciate your comments. :)

JR's son, Ilovesoaps100 and Gabriele I hope you are enjoying the story.

MissTexas1967 and all my regular readers I would like to apologize for the long lack of updates. I hadn't planned to stop updating but work has been so busy lately and I've done quite a bit of travelling too. First I went to Dallas and then there's been some trips in Sweden. Right now I am working more than usual so I won't have the time to update until in mid-June. Thanks for understanding.

Also if anyone catch up with the story before then feel free to drop me a line as I always enjoy reading your feedback. ;)

I have caught up on your story Karin.
The party was interesting it ended abruptly when Paula found out who John Ross really was, and how old he was.
I liked the talk with John Ross and JR but hearing JR say John Ross got what he wanted, now he has to move on was kind of creepy to hear. We know JR slept around at John Ross’s age but I think telling John Ross to wait is more appropriate.
Bobby and Pam are so in love. I’m glad Bobby is the Father but I never thought otherwise.
Christopher and Mary seem cute together.
I love Ray, and Donna together but Jenna will be coming to Southfork soon. It will cause problems I’m sure.
The Afton and Mario scenes make me laugh. Why she wants to be with him I don’t know.

Looking forward to more updates.

Hi Karin,
congratulations also for this previous editorial project, to be read a little at a time, not having I had the good fortune to notice all these posts.
A very summary judgment makes me indicate a particularly accurate writing, with typical insights of the great novels of the past, such as the Miserables by Hugo or the cycle of the Human Comedy by Balzac. Your style here is not frenetic, you linger a lot on descriptions, feelings, letting the impetuous flow of words come directly from ... the heart.

Will you give a sort of conclusion or more updates?

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the feedback on this story and for your interest in reading more of it. :)

I wish your stories included John Ross as an adult with Pamela Rebecca

This is the reason I am now posting a brand new Dallas fanfic called "Forgiveness" that picks up after Dallas TNT with John Ross and Pamela Rebecca as main characters. So careful what you wish for, you might actually get it! :danc:
So thank you for your feedback, it mattered more than you think! :ch:

Jessie, I am glad that you've caught up with my story and that you found Christopher's masquerade party interesting. :)
Oh yeah John Ross should have known better than trying to deceive Paula. It was bound to blow up in his face. I also agree with you that JR's attitude towards women is very bad. But it fits with the character, he does perceive most women as sexual objects that he can enjoy with no strings attached. He is a player of the worst kind which is why he's pissed off so many women and broken several hearts.
But considering who he is it fits that he takes pride in that his son is following in his footsteps and encourages him to sleep around too. But I tell you if he had a daughter I bet he would not encourage that kind of behavior in her. But she would be told to wait. So he does have a double standard for boys/girls and has outdated views of the world. :re:
But he is a man of a certain generation and his views were more common then.

I think everyone are glad that Bobby is Rebecca's father. Yes Christopher and Mary are very cute. We thought it would be nice for him to have a girlfriend and without ruin too much of the plot I can say that she is really good for him.

You are right when you say that Jenna and her kids will arrive at Southfork soon. It happens in the next episode! ;)

southfork88, thanks for the compliment on my writing. I am flattered that you are comparing my style of writing to those classic books. But I don't know if I really have that much in common with them. Anyway this story is a collaboration with my sister Jenny so I can't take full credit for the style of writing as it's a mix between our different styles. I tend to focus more on characters feelings when I write, trying to understand their state of mind while Jenny is more for descriptions of what the characters does in a scene. She sees it more like a tv script that you watch and I see it more like a book. So our styles are a bit different but I think when you mix them you get a better end result!

But you are right when you say that this story is very close to my heart. It's been a part of my life for so many years. :love4:

Also as for a conclusion or update. Well I might return to posting more updates/episodes after I've finished posting my new Dallas fanfic. There are also certain storyarcs that reaches it's conclusion as this story moves along. But this story doesn't have a final ending as it's still a work in progress. We originally wrote 100 episodes and are still currently in the process of re-writing them. So far we are done with 42 out of 100 episodes. So it's a very slow process and we are still adding new scenes, storylines and even episodes so therefore I don't see an end to this story in sight right now. So it's kind of a never ending story.

Still I hope you'll enjoy the episodes I have posted of this story so far. :)

Take care,
Love:
Karin.

Karin, thank you for sharing this amazing story with us. Your talent is so impressive and the fact that you were able to write all this at the age you were at is incredible. I have enjoyed the Dallas music videos you have made for years but now to also get to enjoy your writing is what this Dallas Fandom is really all about I think. I hope you continue to keep doing more and I hope more and more people find your wonderful work.
