[QUOTE="Karin Schill, post: 26259"] So today it's four years since Larry passed away. When my sister and I began writing this story he, BBG and Howard Keel were still with us. After each of their passing we've found it momentarily difficult to write for their characters and yet we've somehow found a way to go on writing. Today I find it oddly comforting that even after the actors are long gone their Dallas characters can still live on in our hearts and stories and imagination. Writing new scenes for them almost makes it feel like they are still here. Just a little sidenote before I'll post today's update and yes it's a JR one... ;) The same afternoon at the Ewing Oil building in Dallas, JR was sitting behind his desk. He was tied up on the phone with an oil executive in California and he was receiving some disturbing news. Listening to what the other man had to tell him JR frowned before he said, “I see, thank you for explaining. Yeah it is too bad. Bobby reluctantly sat down, “Okay what’s up?” “It’s about Christopher…” Bobby looked surprised, “Christopher?” “Yes, I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the poor thing has been miserable ever since his mother and that child of hers arrived here…” Bobby sighed, “I know but that’s just because he’s having a hard time to adapt to having to share me with his sister…” “And you’re blind little brother,” JR said. “It goes way deeper than that.
