Message: <blockquote data-quote="stevew" data-source="post: 211729" data-attributes="member: 130">My thoughts wasn’t with Digger and neurofibromatosis but you make a good point.  I think mental illness on Rebecca’s side is the only way to explain her children’s behavior both in the original and on the TNT continuation.  Certainly circumstances added to it and maybe neurofibromatosis has an impact on the mind, I don’t know.  But Cliff certainly has mentally ill in TNT and I think so was Katherine in the original.  And it would explain Pamela’s abandonment of her child after the accident, maybe a triggering event.  And yes it would explain Pamela’s drug use and threesome.  I always thought it could be a serious topic for the show, Pamela’s fear for her future and fear of having biological children.  It would also explain why JR had to get Cliff to Mexico where his money wouldn’t protect him against Carlos’s influence.  Looking forward to reading more.</blockquote>
