Pam woke up with a smile on her face, since she felt something she hadn’t felt in ages. It was like all the tension had left her body and she felt warm, relaxed, content and spent. But most of all she felt loved and it made her feel so good. She hadn’t been loved by a man since her husband had died and she hadn’t been loved by her first husband since they were married almost three decades ago. Considering that so much time had passed since then it wouldn’t have been strange if the night would have been awkward or if they’d found out that things had changed between them. They were after all a lot older now and a lot had happened in their lives. But astonishingly the night they’d just spent together had been amazing and it had even surpassed their memories of what it had felt like to make love to each other. It had brought them back to their youth too and a time when their lives had been easier. So Pam felt good when she woke up this morning, since she knew now that they still loved each other and to her that was all that mattered.

Bobby on the other hand woke up with mixed emotions. On one hand he felt grateful for the night that he had just spent with Pam as he had thought that he had lost her forever. He had written off their love and buried it so deep inside of himself, thinking that she was dead. But now he knew that she wasn’t and the night they’d spent together felt almost unreal, like if he had woken up with Ann sleeping next to him he wouldn’t have been surprised to learn that he’d dreamt the whole thing. But he hadn’t. When he opened his eyes that morning the first thing he saw was Pam’s smiling face. The knowledge of that she was here with him and that she still loved him made him feel thrilled and young again. But no matter of how good they’d made each other feel last night, it still didn’t change the fact that he was married to another and in the harsh light of day he couldn’t help but feeling guilty. He had done something he’d never thought he would do. He had broken his marital vows and the guilt it brought with it was weighing heavily on his mind. The same conscious that Pam ironically had helped him get back in touch with was now agonizing over it.
Thank you everyone for the feedback and ratings. I am glad that you're all still keeping up with this story. :hat: @Pammy P I thought you would like the Bobby & Pam scene. ;) @superman fan thanks, I am glad that you love this story anyway! :) Also thanks for explaining the way you see Bobby/Pam vs. Bobby/Ann.
