This will always be my favourite Donald Sutherland film

Ive never been to Venice, I think ive laways been afraid Id see a small person in a red duffel coat!

I also loved seeing him appear in wonderful Kate Bush video CloudBusting

It's well-made, but I just can't take the "love" scene.

I used to watch all horror movies through my fingers, but for different reasons during the aptly-named DON'T LOOK NOW.

He was a fine actor. I always enjoyed his performances, even when I didn't much care for the film. Kiefer did a lovely tribute to him and ended it with "a life well lived."

I just remember being about 14 when my parents decided they didnt like the film and were turning in for the night! I was so relieved as 15 mins later it WAS THAT SCENE!! And i remember thinking they definitely did it!!

Sad news! A wonderful actor and a credit to his craft. Out of all the roles he’s done he will always be “X” first and foremost to me. That role was made for him and he had the most perfect sounding mysterious voice to make it work.

He always came across as a little creepy. But of course some roles call for that and in those he excelled.
