Dr. Ruth Westheimer has died. She was a sex therapist who came to prominence during the 1980s through her syndicated radio show and best selling books. A survivor of the holocaust, she had a very interesting life.
May she rest in peace.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Ruth. I never knew she was a survivor of the Holocaust. I’m sure that was something she was always very thankful for. I remember growing up and always wondering what a sex doctor in fact was (or even did) but being too afraid to ask back then.

No google, different times. I can recall hearing “she is a crazy person that gives advice to other crazy people “ but of course that wasn’t true. She helped millions by creating awareness in a time when a lot of people were still uncomfortable talking about these kinds of things.
