Episode 19:
FORGET ME NEVER
(Part 1)

SC.1: INT. – SUE ELLEN´S FOYER

(Last season´s scene continues...Shania rushes downstairs and, when she is about to get out of the house, her cell phone rings. She takes it out of her purse and looks at the call identifier: it´s her mother.)

S: Hi Mother. Sorry can´t talk now...
Mandy: Where are you honey?
S: I´ve just come out of a meeting, I´ll be there in fifteen minutes...
M: A meeting so late? You ain´t with a secret fan, are you...?
S: I have to hung down…
M: You aren´t misbehaving again, are you Shania darlin´?
S: What…?
M: I mean you didn´t quit your meds…?
S: Bye Mother. (Shania frowns and looks at the staircase direction. She hesitates for a second and then opens the door, walks out and locks it from outside...Cut to a shot of Sue Ellen laying on her bed.)

SC.2: INT. –BARNES RANCH (FORMERLY KNOWN AS KREBBS RANCH)

(Establishing shot of the ranch in the evening. Cliff, Pam and Bob are sitting at the dining-room table)

Cliff: So are you ok sister?
P: I will, don´t worry Cliff. I wish Christopher were with us, but he isn´t…
Bob: We must think of today now. Pam and I have been thinking that this could be a ight time for our long-delayed honeymoon trip…
C: Yeah…Three weddings and no honeymoon!
B: When the hearing date for Madeleine´s trial was set, we thought everything was over, but they have to find her yet…
C: You were lucky the Judge sentenced on you about the ranch ownership, otherwise it could have meant the end for Southfork.
P: Yes, but that woman has been hurting a lot of people aside of us, and she should be put to justice and pay for what she´d done. Not to mention Clayton´s death…
C: Do you know anything about Barbara?
P: She and Julian are travelling around Europe right now. She told me to call her the minute we had news about the trial and they were needed at court. Too bad Dusty can´t be tracked down…
C: Really? (Pam´s cell phone rings)
P: Excuse me. Hello, Pam Ewing here. Oh Shania hi…Please talk slower…Oh my God. Can you go with her in the ambulance? Thank you so much. We´re at Braddock now but are leaving at this moment…(Bob and Cliff look at each other amazed. Then Pam hangs up and looks upset). Cliff, how long would it take to get your helicopter here?
C: It´s near, I guess about five minutes.
P: Then please call the pilot Cliff, please!
B: Babe, what is it?
P: Sue Ellen…(with tears in her eyes)

SC.3: INT. – KREBBSES´ HOUSE AT SOUTHFORK HOTEL

(General shot of the room. The three members of the family are having dinner silently)

Donna: Are you finished sweetheart?
Maggie: Yes.
Ray: Is everything ok, baby?
M: No…(Donna and Ray look at each other) Nothing´s ok. We are not living at our use. Granddaddy Clayton was let die by his horrible wife. Pam and Bob have lost their son forever. Sue Ellen and Betsy don´t know the truth about it and they are heartbroken.
D: (getting up and sitting by her daughter) Say it Maggie. Say what upsets you. There´s nothing wrong with that…
M: (beginning to cry) …I…I…miss Christopher so badly, despite everything. I should be happy for him but…(Ray also gets up and holds his family)
R: Let it go baby…This situation with Christopher is temporary. Who knows if some day, he´ll be living with us again.
M: (crying) I know…but it hurts so much anyway…
D: Keep your faith my darling. Soon we´ll be living at Southfork again and everything will be back to normal…Who knows, maybe even Chris will be back…(Donna caresses her husband´s cheek)

SC.4: INT. – DALLAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, THAT NIGHT

(Establishing shot of the place. The elevator door opens and Cally walks in. She joins Pam, Bob and Shania)

Cally: Pam! Oh Pam! What happened? (She hugs Pam)
Pam: We don´t know yet. Shania was afraid of something going wrong and went at Sue llen´s. She had missed an appointment and had been rather down lately…
Bob: We are not sure of anything Cally. How are the kids?
C: Oh, just fine, the babysitter was home when you called. Is Sue Ellen gonna be alright?
B: We don´t know yet, we are waiting for the doctor to come out…
Shania: I´ll go get a coffee. Does anyone want some?
P: Oh, she´s Sue Ellen´s assistant Cally, she found Sue Ellen and called an ambulance when she found her…No thanks Shania. We´ll go for you if there´s news…(Shania leaves)
C: What do you mean…”when she found her”?
B: (looking at Pam and then at Cally) Well, everything seems to show that Sue Ellen had an overdose of sleeping pills…mixed up with vodka.
C: (astonished) Vodka?
P: We don´t know anything for sure, let´s just wait…
C: Oh I wish James were here…
P: And John Ross too…Poor John Ross. The history repeats itself…(Cally cries on Bob´s shoulder. Fade Out and End of Act One)

SC.5: INT. – DALLAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AT NIGHT

Doctor: She had a strong overdose of her prescribed sleeping pills, and also another kind of anti-depressant pills. The mixture of both of them and the addition of alcohol has had a serious reaction on her system. She´s been done a stomach pumping but remains unconscious. Next 24 hours will be critical: we have to check out the way her body has reacted to those big sums of alcohol.
Pam (surprised): Thank you Doctor for telling us…Please keep us reported.
Doctor: Of course, I will. Now go home and get some sleep… (The doctor leaves and Shania keeps herself in the background)
P: Could you contact John Ross, Bobby?
Bob: Yes, but they left the hotel already. They must be on their way back.
Cally: Thanks God. Sue Ellen´s gonna need her son a lot.
P: Yes she is. Now, Cally, let us drive you home, ok? (Cally nods. Then, Pam notices Shania) Please Bob go on. I will join you at the park lot.
B: (noticing Shania) That´s fine. (They leave) How are you Shania?
Shania: I´m ok…(begins to cry) I just…I just wish I had foreseen this. Everything´s there: she was worried about Dusty, Christopher, and was missing John Ross too. I shouldn´t have let her alone Pamela!
P: Don´t blame yourself Shania…It´s no good. Neither for you nor Sue Ellen. And you were the one who called the police and the ambulance.
S: She wanted to be alone and I agreed. It´s all my fault…
P (holding her): No dear, it is not…(First shot of Shania)

SC.6: INT. – DINING-ROOM AT SUE ELLEN´S MANOR, TURTLE CREEK,DALLAS

(Establishing shot of the manor at early morning. Bobby and Pam join the rest of the family at the dining-room: Cally, Jimmy and Ellie. Cally gets up and kisses them)

Bob: Good morning.
Ellie: Hi Uncle Bob! Aunt Pam!
Pam. Hi sweetheart! How are you doing Jimmy?
Jimmy: Better don´t ask!
Cally: Jimmy! Don´t be rude and apologize!
P: He doesn´t have to Cally, it´s alright.
C: Thank you for coming for breakfast. Please let´s go to the living-room. And finish your breakfast kids! Did you hear me Jimmy? (The three of them go to the other room and Bob tells her about Sue Ellen)
B: We´ve been at the hospital before coming here. Sue Ellen still is unconscious but out of danger, she´ll be alright. So far the doctor doesn´t know if there will any consequences.
C: Oh my God!
P (holding her arm): Don´t worry Cally. Now we must find James and John Ross.
B: Last night I called a friend of mine at the airport and asked him for help to find the Ewing jet, since it had changed its route. He´s confirmed it this morning, and also that the jet went to Paris after that. We´ll be able to talk to them within the next hour.
P: There is no possibility that they had an accident dear, don´t even think about it. (a crying Cally holds Pam again).

SC.7: INT. – DALLAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

(First shot of unconscious Sue Ellen at her hospital bed, plugged to an Oxygen bottle. The door opens and Shania walks in carrying a bunch of flowers)

Shania: Sue Ellen? (looking enigmatic. A nurse comes after her)
Nurse: Sorry but she can´t have visits by the moment. Are you family?
S: You could say that, yes…
N: Well, she´s out of danger as far as I know. You´re not a journalist, aren´t you? Those people are like a plague…
S: Oh no. I will let these flowers here. Would you please put them in a vase or something?
N: Sure darling. They´re beautiful…(smelling the roses)
S: Bye-bye…(she turns around and leaves, and then whispers) For now… (Cut to next scene. Shania goes to a public phone and gets her notebook. Then she dials a number):
S: Hello? Is that the Dallas Press? I´d like to talk to someone from the Society pages…

SC.8: INT. – GARY EWING´S HOME AT GALVESTON

(Establishing shot of the house by the sea)

Val: Yes Lucy, I will call you if there´s any change. Enjoy yourselves now. Give my regards to Curtis…(She hangs down)
Gary: How are she and Peter?
V: They are fine, especially Peter, he´s in Walt Disney World, why shouldn´t he? But Lucy wanted to come back and help Sue Ellen somehow…She and Curtis are trying to find out a way to tell Peter that he´s his daddy…
G: She´s a great girl…
V: Yes she is…(Noticing Betsy is gossiping) Oh honey, will you go out this afternoon?
Betsy: I bet you care if I will…You were hiding something from me, weren´t you? I´m 18 years old and I´m fed up of this, I can´t take it anymore!
G: Betsy, what are you talking about?
B: Nothing, I wish I could live alone and be independent…
V: Our family is going through a hell right now and you shouldn´t speak that way.
G: Your Mama´s right, you sound like a spoiled brat.
B: You don´t trust me and I don´t trust you. So it makes no sense going back to college. I´m quitting…
V: Oh no Betsy, not again. We must talk about it…
B: I´m going to Dallas and see how Maggie is doing…
G (looking at Val): Maybe that´s not a bad idea Valene…I mean, going to Dallas the three of us.
V (a bit disappointed): Ok, Betsy will tell us what to do, as usual. That´s fine Gary! (she gets out of the room).

SC.9: INT. – HOTEL LANCASTER IN PARIS

(James walks down a corridor and, when arrives at a certain suite, he knocks on a door)

James: John Ross?
John Ross (offscreen): Get the hell out of here!!
J (he knocks again): Please John Ross I gotta talk to you. It´s important… JR (opening the door and showing his head): What is it James? Better be important!
J: Something´s happened...it´s serious…your mother…
JR: My mother what?
J: There´s been an accident. She´s at the hospital. Bobby just called.(John Ross goes inside and talks to somebody. James hears a woman giggle and, one minute later John Ross joins him and they leave. Fade Out and End of Act Two)

SC.10: INT. – SHANIA´S APARTMENT IN DALLAS

(First shot of Shania. She and Mandy are having lunch. Shania looks very distant.)

Mandy: You´re so quiet today…
Shania: Sorry Mother. I was thinking about the big responsibilities I´m gonna have to take after this.
M: You mean, from Sue Ellen´s company?
S: Yeah.
M: We were so lucky about the whole thing…
S: What do you mean?
M: Sue Ellen, of course. Before we could make up a real plot against her, she goes off the wagon thanks to that cowboy friend of hers…Probably he even rejected her again…
S: Did you know Dusty Farlow?
M: Oh yeah…As a matter of fact, I knew him very well…He was something when I met him about ten years ago, maybe more…Then Sue Ellen and Dusty were living under the same roof. That happened after JR killed himself and Miss Ellie died. Dear ol´ Bobby wanted to keep the remains of his family together and made Dusty and his dad co-owners of that beautiful ranch. One day, at the Annual Oil Barons´ Ball, we met and had a short but very passionate affair…
S: Mother why didn´t you tell me about this before?
M: Well honey, I guess that was quite personal, wasn´t it?
S (looking angry): Isn´t our plan quite personal too? Don´t keep me secrets Mama, or everything will change one of these days! (She gets up and is about to leave, when somebody knocks on the door).
M: Please let me open darlin´.(She fixes up her hair and says) Who is it?
Police: Dallas Police, please open ma´am.(Mandy looks at her daughter and smiles, then opens the door)
M: May I help you?
P: I´m Detective Shelton and she is Detective Van Ark. We are here to question miss Shania Wyatt about Mrs. Sue Ellen Lockwood´s suicide attempt…Are you related?
M: Well…I am…just a friend. You said suicide…Is she…?
P: No, as far as I know…
P2: Is miss Wyatt here right now?
M (quickly): Yes. We were having lunch. Would you like something to drink? (Shania comes out with her eyes wide open)
S: Hi I´m Shania Wyatt.
P2: No thank you, we´re at service hours…(the man looks at his female workmate…) We have to make you some questions about Sue Ellen Lockwood´s suicide attempt…
S: Ok. Please sit down…
P: Just the usual questions girl, don´t worry. Tell us when and where you were one hour before she was found and how you came to suspect that something's wrong…(Shania looks at her mother, all smiles)

SC.11: INT. – GALLERY SHOPPING-CENTER IN DALLAS

(Afton and Beckie come out of a boutique each wearing a bag, and begin to walk around)

Afton: You looked wonderful with that dress Beckie…I don´t know why you didn´t let me to buy it for you, as an advanced birthday present…
Beckie: I didn´t like the color, and didn´t fit well to me either…
A: Are you silly? Of course it did. So whatcha gonna do now? Want an ice-cream or maybe a little beer? We could have some chilli too.
B: Oh Mama please. I think I gotta puke. (She puts her hand over her stomach. Then a child throws his ball in their direction and she stops it. The little boy comes for the ball and she gives it to him, as she smiles. Afton stares at her and opens her big eyes)
A: Beckie please tell you ain´t!!
B (she looks away): Ain´t what?
A: Oh my gosh you ARE pregnant! Look into my eyes…(Both women look at each other and Beckie ends up holding her) Oh my baby, my baby is having a baby…It´s something wonderful you hear!
B: But Daddy...told me that the Barnes family carried an illness…
A: …Yeah, so did you when you´re a little baby and you´re healthier than you could be…Don´t lose your nerves. We must go the doctor´s and she will tell us what to do.
B: Won´t you ask me about the baby´s father?
A: No. You said you and your boyfriend were thru and that´s a fact. A baby can´t fix up your relationship. So wait on, darlin´, and take one step after another, and please, oh please, don´t tell your Daddy! Not yet! (Beckie silently cries)

SC.12: INT. – KREBBS HOUSE AT NIGHT

(Ray revolves in bed: he´s having a bad dream. Donna is sleeping by his side. His memory goes back to his past: Jenna and he are having an argument)

Jenna: I´m so tired Ray…
Ray: Tired? Of what?
J: Tired of your complaining…We´re having a good life here in Nice. Ok it´s not a big white ranch but a small apartment but there´s only you and me…and you´ve been avoiding the problems…
R: Problems? What problems?
J: What problems? Ray, after all that´s happened to us, you say what problems? My daughter has been expelled from every private high school in Switzerland and she can´t go out to the street without getting into trouble.
R: Is that my fault, Jenna? Is it?
J: And Lucas. He doesn´t know you at all, you´re always out on business trips and he doesn´t recognize you when you´re back.
R: Business trips to give you the life you´re living!
J: Ray, open your eyes: I have a job too, and I´m paying all the bills. Your business trips have been a way to lose time and money. Your deals don´t work out Ray, and this marriage doesn´t work out either…I want a divorce…
R: Divorce? What about the baby?
J: The baby? Lucas is MY baby, and that´s the way it reads in his birth certificate.
R: You lied once about your children´s fatherhood: Bobby ain´t Charlie´s father and you put his name on her certificate…
J: What? Are you trying to say that you want to take my son away…? (Cut to next dream scene. Jenna is driving her car with Charlie sitting at the back seat)
Charlie: Mother, where are we going…?
J: Oh please shut up Charlie…
R: You won´t steal Bobby´s child, oh no, hell you won´t…
J: He´s my son…
C: Mother, it´s raining heavily. Why don´t we stop?
R: Damn you Jenna and Charlie. Why the hell did I had to leave Texas? Lucas is a Ewing and he belongs at Southfork.
C: Ray´s just a bastard Mother! He really is!
J: Charlie shut up! (Cut to evening sky and we hear thunder and then we see a lightning reflecting on the wrecked car´s window. Ray´s standing under the rain…)
R: (Suddenly wakes up) No Jenna!! (shouting) Donna wakes up and caresses him.
D: It´s alright now darlin´. It was just a nightmare...(She kisses and hugs him)
R: Donna...It was my fault...(crying) It was all my fault.
D: No it wasn´t, my love. It was an accident. Just an accident…

(Fade Out and End of Act Three)

SC.13: INT. – KREBBSES´ HOME AT SOUTHFORK HOTEL

(Ray walks into the kitchen. Donna is making some coffee)

Ray: Good morning.
Donna: Good morning love (she kisses him). Want a cup of coffee?
Ray: Yes please…
D (she serves it and sits in front of him): Could you sleep well last night, eventually?
R: Yes, a couple of hours…I´m damn tired…
D: Do you wanna talk about it?
R: No, it was just a nightmare.
D: Today we had a meeting with the hotel former managers. We had to tell them that the place is gonna be shot down in order to try to save the remains of Southfork…
R: Yeah I forgot it…
D: Why don´t you let myself go and you spend all day resting in bed?
R: Good. It´s a great idea. I trust you will work things out fine.
D: Ok. Maggie´s out on a ride. Sure she wouldn´t mind some company…She told she´d be around the Northwest fences…
R: …And look if she checks her sugar level…
D: How did you know I was gonna say that?
R: Mamas say that kind of things…(he kisses her)

SC.14: INT. – DINING-ROOM AT EWING MANOR IN DALLAS

(Establishing shot of the manor in the early morning. Pam and Bob are having breakfast.)

Bob: I hope there´ll be some positive change in Sue Ellen´s condition.
Pam: So do I.
B: Do you think that she…?
P: Oh no, I don´t.
B: Why are you so certain?
P: Bobby, she´s always been part of our lives and you know what a way she has gone…
B: Yeah. She´s a different woman now.
P: I trust her and know she wasn´t drinking again. I just know for sure. She´s been through three divorces, she lost her boyfriend in a tragedy she witnessed, she raised a lot of companies: she´s been re-born too many times Bobby. Maybe she took too many sleeping pills and she didn´t realize it. But vodka again? Never…
B: I´m glad you´re a woman with such strong convictions…
P (looking sad): By the way, I´ve been thinking about how sad everything is…There´s been so many tragedies in the last couple of years…Suddenly everything seems like a bad dream. I can´t believe this is happening…
B: Yeah, I know what you mean. I feel exactly the same.
P: What if we´d start over somewhere else? Leaving this house and buying a ranch, or another house in Dallas?
B: You wanna sell your Mama´s house?
P: Maybe I´d have sold it out when she died, or maybe when we married again the second time. I´d like to have a fresh, nice start out with you…
B: That sounds wonderful, but we can´t erase the past. I know you are reminded of other tragedies here: Mark Graison´s death, or what´s happened to Christopher…
P: Yes. I think we should post-pone our holidays and stay for a few months, and help our friends, like Sue Ellen. Maybe she needed help and we didn´t listen to her.
B: If that´s your true reason, fine for me. Sue Ellen was Chris´ natural aunt and we didn´t tell her the facts about his death…
P (smiling): Ok. Now we should move on. Will you drop me at the office? Everything must be out of control without Sue Ellen there…
B: Sure. I love you honey (he kisses her. The couple gets out of the house and into Bob´s car. The camera pans away and we see the back profile of a tall man, watching them from the outside. He gets into a cab and the driver asks him):
Driver: So wanna go back to town?
Man: Yes.
Driver: Ok then. (The man drives off and Bobby´s car passes in front of them…Fade Out and End of Act Four)

SC.15: INT. – SHEPARD INC. OFFICES IN DALLAS

(Pam walks into her office and puts her briefcase over the desk. Then she hears someone knocking on her door. Someone shows her head)

Shania: Good morning Pam. May I come in?
Pam: Of course Shania. I was going to call you right now. Bobby told me that the police questioned about what happened to Sue Ellen…
S (serious): Yes they did.
P: I just wanna tell you that we´re behind you if they cause any trouble…
S: Why would they?
P: Well, because you broke into Sue Ellen´s house and found her.
S: Oh sure. But I didn´t break into the house. I had a copy of her keys. She gave them to me.
P: Really? (Worried)
S: I must confess something to you, Pamela. (Shania sits down) I suspected that she had committed suicide because I have done it myself. That´s why I was at that clinic where she met me. I just want you to know.
P: Oh I have no idea. Shania, I´m so sorry about that. Lucky you´re so great now…(Shania smiles) Now we have a lot of work to do…
S: I checked out Sue Ellen´s schedule: I took care of everything until lunch. I came here at 7 am.
P (surprised and then amused): I was sure you had. Sue Ellen´s so lucky to have you. And I know she cares a lot about you. She´ll be alright, just wait and see…

SC.16: INT. – MAGGIE´S BEDROOM AT KREBBSES´ HOME

(Maggie arrives home after riding a horse. She´s sweaty and hears some noises coming from her bed-room. She silently looks inside: she finds Betsy reading Maggie´s diary. She says then…)

Maggie: I knew it! (scared Betsy cries) I knew somebody was gossiping in my diary! But I´d never suspected of you! How could you?
Betsy: This is not what it looks like. I…I…was looking for some nail paint and opened the drawer…and there it was.
M: Locked with my only key! Did you force the lock? (She takes the diary away from her, and finds a second key in it). You had another key done!
B: Well, you know I was boring to death at college, in fact I won´t go back there. I´ve had enough of books!
M: But not of THIS kind of books. You´re such a…(She begins to get close to her)
B: Come on Maggie! Don´t!
M: We´re cousins, you´re such a heartless bitch!
B: And you´re a liar. You´re all liars.
M: What do you mean?
B: Christopher, I mean. You let me think he was dead when…
M: Shut up Betsy! Right now!
B: And your daddy? The Ewing heir who wasn´t? He was just a foreman! (Maggie takes one pillow and begins to fight with her, blowing her head with the pillow.)
M: You damn disgusting brat!
S: And you think you´re better than the rest! My daddy´s is a true Ewing heir! And I will inherit the Ewing fortune some day!
M: Money, you only care about money and name! (Maggie punches Betsy and then takes a vase full of flowers and takes them out. Then she throws the water inside on Betsy´s head, who cries and cries)
S: You´re crazy…
M: No dear cousin or whatever: I will get crazy if I know that you have explained something, anything of all this (she shakes her diary) to anybody.
And better remember it for the rest of your days. Now get your flat ass out of here!

SC.17: EXT. –SOUTHFORK ENTRANCE

(The song “Forget Me Never” by Elvis Presley is played all through the scene.)

"If I should go, forget me never
Please say that youll remember me
I pray the dreams we share together
Will shine on in your memory
Each time a star falls out of heaven
It leaves the sky a deeper blue
So if we part, forget me never
And dont forget my love for you
And dont forget my love for you"

(A tall, dark-haired teenager carrying a backpack stands in front of the Southfork entrance. He looks away at the manor in works and then looks at the road. He takes a small picture of Beckie out of his pocket and looks at it. Then he begins to walk in the big house´s direction…)

SC.18: INT. – WAITING-ROOM AT DALLAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

(The doctor stands in front of Bob, John Ross, James and Cally)

Doctor: Are you Mrs. Ewing´s relatives?
John Ross: Yes I am his son, and he´s my brother and wife, and my uncle Bob.
D: I know you Bob. I was abroad when your mother died. I appreciated her.
B: Thank you doctor. Any news about Sue Ellen?
D: I´m afraid there´s some.
JR: You´re afraid? Is she...?
D: Oh no but she remains unconscious. We found high doses of pills and alcohol in her blood…
JR: Yes you told us that before.
B: Please John Ross, let the doctor finish.
JR: There are two possibilities: if your mother hadn´t been drinking for many years, as I´ve been told, then we have to care about the effects of the pills in her brain. She might have amnesia when she comes to, or some other trauma. Otherwise, if she began to drink heavily again, you could expect…
James: Please go to the point doctor…
D: …Well, she could never wake up, and spend her life in a coma. She could have serious liver problems, even if she wakes up…(All of them are shocked, and Cally puts her head over James´s chest, as she begins to cry)
C: Oh my God! Poor Sue Ellen…(Then John Ross leaves and is followed by Bob, but he misses the elevator)
B: John Ross, come back! Be dammit! (Fade out and End of Act Five)

SC.19: INT. – BARNES RANCH

(Beckie is unpacking her last bag, and finds a picture at the bottom: it is a young man, the same one who was around the ranch. Beckie kisses the picture and then breaks it into pieces, and throws it into a basket near her desk. Then she hears her mother calling her and knocking on her door)

Afton: Honey are you ok? May I come in?
Beckie: Yes please.
A: The dinner´s ready. I made your favorite meal.
B: But Mama…
A: Yes I know you don´t wanna eat anything, but your body and your baby´s body need that meal. I called the doctor: tomorrow we have an appointment. Don´t worry: everything will go just fine…(She kisses her daughter´s cheek and holds her)

SC.20: INT. – SUE ELLEN´S ROOM AT DALLAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

(Sue Ellen is unconscious in bed, and suddenly, someone says :)

Man: Hello darlin´! Is that trendy these days?
Sue Ellen (opening her eyes, behind the life support mask. She winks and takes the mask off): You bastard! You said you´d let me go…
JR: Well I´m a joker as you must remember…
SE: I whish I couldn´t remember you at all!
JR: Oh Sue Ellen, you´re the same woman you used to be…You even look younger in some parts…
SE: Go! Just vanish JR! I know you´re dead…I just hope I´m not dead too.
JR: Dead gorgeous, like when we met…Those were the days, darlin´!
SE: I have to get outta here! (She puts on her feet and looks at JR) How can you look exactly like twelve years ago?
JR: That´s one of ol´ JR´s secrets, but don´t waste time…
SE: What are you up?
JR: You! What the hell are you doin´ here instead of being at Southfork or Ewing Oil guidin´ our son?
SE: Oh Southfork…There´s no Southfork the way you remember it. It´s as if a tornado had destroyed the old ranch and dragged away the people we loved…
JR: Love? Is anybody in love with you? Maybe that poor ol´ Dusty Farlow? Tell that slimeball off!!
SE: Don´t be a fool…please.
JR: I wouldn´t be surprised. You´re an arch-millionaire and had the best master: me.
SE: My God this is crazy…I don´t know if you´re real or not, JR, but I must return to real world. Please tell me how…Hello, somebody help me (she says out loud)
JR: I´m here to tell ya two things: One, our son needs ya. Now he´s a multi-millionaire by his birth right and can do everything he was born for. He can show the rest of the world that we the Ewings can go back to the top of the world and nothing can stop us. Second, you made a mistake, Sue Ellen, and
that´s why you´re here. I can´t tell ya anything else, you gotta find it out. Your life is in danger and probably will be again if you don´t discover who´s betrayed you. You shouldn´t be here, you used to be my wife, what the heck!
SE: Why did you appear to me when you died?
JR: I had to. You weren´t happy married to that Lockwood guy and riding horses in England. You didn´t even like horses, well maybe the Texan ones! My son had to live at Southfork, where he belongs at. But he went downhill ´cause he wasn´t ready to live without me, his Daddy. Now I tell ya, Sue Ellen: just
let´m go, or you´ll get hurt. He´s ready to succeed me! (Sue Ellen walks away a couple of steps, then she turns around to JR)
SE: JR listen to me…! (Then he is gone: there is only SE in that room, and now she is in bed again, plugged into the machine. The life-support system begins to beep intermittently. Cut to next scene)

SC.21: INT. – WAITING-ROOM AT DALLAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Nurse: Mr. John Ross Ewing? (Bob and James stand up)
Bob: We´re family, his son has just come out.
N: Mrs. Ewing is out of a coma. She is conscious now.
B: Can we see her?
N: The doctor will come to tell you about her condition first.
B: Her condition…(Bob looks at James and he notices that Cally is coming out of the elevator, with a newspaper in her hand)
Cally: James!
J: Hi honey. Sue Ellen is conscious now, the doctor will tell us more soon.
C: I saw this at the newsstand (she shows them the paper. The secondary headline reads: “Socialite suicide attempt”)
B: Oh no…We gotta find John Ross…

SC.22: EXT. – DALLAS PARKLOT

(Bobby walks as he talks on his cell phone)

Bobby: Will, it´s great the bank people ok´d you at your decision to leave. It´s time to make your own money I guess! Yes. Me too. See you tonight. I love you. (Suddenly, someone says):
Man: Hey, Bobby! (He turns right and someone covers his face and pushes him apart…)

SC.23: EXT. – RESTAURANT IN DALLAS

(Gary and Val come out and head to the park lot)

Val: It´s a really fine restaurant, isn´t it?
Gary: Yeah, Bobby recommended it to me. He´s got such a good taste. I hope he and Will work out their problems.
V: I´m sure they will. At least they´re dating again…
G: Remember when we used to date too?
V: Gary…what´s this if not? Never mind we´re married to each other…
G: I´ll wait here sweetheart.
V: Ok, see you now. (Gary puts his hands into his pockets and, suddenly, a car stops and a tall man gets out of it)
Man (pointing at him with a gun): Get into the car!
G: Go to hell! (The man hits him and Gary hits back, but another man comes from behind and knocks him out with a gun. Then they put him into the car and the car leaves. Val drives to the place and misses Gary. She calls him at his cell phone but it´s disconnected)
Val: Oh my God, Gary! (She begins to cry)

Episode 20:
FORGET ME NEVER
(Part 2)

SC.1: EXT. – DALLAS STREETS

(Bob is driving his car in the streets on Dallas, in an area close to the Hospital...The camera pans and we see he is talking on his car phone)

Bob: I gotta find my nephew, Jack! His mother is in hospital and it´s very important for us to bring him to see her…No I´s sure there´s nothing wrong with it, but please help to track him down, a Ewing plate can´t be as hard to notice, right? Thank you Jack…I owe you one. Bye…(He pulls on a button and hangs up the car phone) Dammit John Ross! What the hell are you doin´…(The camera pans away the street).

SC.2: INT. – SUE ELLEN´S ROOM AT MEMORIAL DALLAS HOSPITAL

(First shot of Sue Ellen, cut to medium shot of the people there: Pam, Cally and Shania)

Sue Ellen: Thank you very much for being here, all of you (looking from Pam to Cally and Shania). It must have been some sort of accident…
Pam: Don´t worry about anything Sue Ellen. Everything´s under control now. The doctor will come and speak to you in ten minutes. We can´t stay any longer…
S.E. (holding her hand, lovingly): Ok I understand…Cally, how are James and the kids?
Cally: They´re fine, the babysitter is with them and James had a business meeting, he said to me to give you hugs…
S.E.: He´s a sweetheart…I hope he and John Ross will be striking Dallas again soon…By the way, where is my son?
P.: Bobby´s gonna drive him here, his car has just wrecked down…
S.E.: Oh I´m sorry to hear that, isn´t it an excuse to get a newer one?
C.: Probably, you know crazy young boys are about big cars…
Shania: Pam and I handled everything at the office but we really need you, so get well soon…
S.E.: I´m feeling well so I guess I´ll be home tomorrow…
Pam: Shania, Cally, would you please leave us alone for a minute? (S.E. looks at Pam and smiles at the girls)
S.E.: Thank you so much for coming…(holding Shania´s hand)
Shania, I have no words…Please call me at the cell phone for anything.
S.: Ok, Sue Ellen. Have rest…
C.: Come on Shania… (Pam looks at them as they leave the room and then she looks back to Sue Ellen)

SC.3: EXT. – DALLAS STREETS

(Betsy walks down as she dials a number on her cell phone. A car passes by)

Betsy (looking angry): What´s on your mind little brother? (Bobby answers the phone)
Bobby: Hi Betsy.
B.: I´m right there at the place. What the hell did you want to talk about? Where are you?
Bo.: (The car stops and Bobby shows his head through the window) I´m here. Get on the car! (He opens the door and she looks inside)
B.: What the fu…? (Bobby pulls her into the car and the driver drives off)

SC.4: EXT. – DALLAS STREETS

(Medium shot of James putting a pack of newspapers into his car)

James: Ok, you sure you have no more issues? (A man in a news stand denies with his head)
Man: Sure not boy! You got all of them! But I think half of them were sold already…
James: Never mind…I wanna get that special prize…Thank you for everything pal! (He hands him a 20-dollar bill to the man) He waves goodbye and gets on his car)

SC.5: INT. – DALLAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

(Sue Ellen, half-scared, half-doubtful, looks at Pam´s face)

S.E.: My God Pam…I don´t remember one thing of that evening…You know that I´d never do anything to hurt myself again…don´t you? (waiting for her answer)
P.: Of course I do. Bobby and all of us do. But something had to happen…That bottle, and how you mixed up the pills…Everything´s so strange. I want you to know that we´re backing you all the way and we´re post-poning our trip for
awhile…
S.E.: But you don´t have to Pam…I´m ok and all I need is being back at work…I have a lot of pending things at the office.
P.: We´re taking care of that. Just follow the doctor´s advices and wait to have the tests´ results. You´re out of danger now and won´t be here longer that three more days…
S.E.: Danger… (she whispers)
P.: Excuse me?
S.E.: I´ve been having a strange nightmare when I was out…but reality is what matters now…
P.: Maybe you´d tell the psychiatrist about it?
S.E.: What psychiatrist?
P.: Remember Sue Ellen, you´ve tried to commit suicide…officially, so to speak. Someone from that department will come to talk to you, probably tomorrow. Don´t be worried about it. That´s the usual thing…
S.E. (smiling): I understand that Pam. Perfectly.

SC.6: EXT. – INSIDE THE MYSTERY CAR

(The car that picked up Betsy stops and they get out of it. She and Bobby walk into a building and then into an elevator. When the door opens at the last floor, they walk out ot the building terrace. A man stands there…)

Bobby: We´re here…(The man turns around and Betsy stares at him)
Betsy: Oh mine…it can´t be…
Man: Yes I am, Betsy. I´m your mother´s husband: Ben Gibson (Fade Out And End of Act One).

SC.7: EXT. – DALLAS BUILDING TERRACE

(First shot of Betsy)

Bobby: Are you better now?
Betsy: As good as I could be…in this situation…Ah, didn´t my mother think you were dead…Ben?
Ben: As a matter of fact, I am…officially. I live in another continent now, and I have another family…and name.
Bo: I should try the change name some time, considering the things I´ve seen lately.
B (knowing exactly what he wants to mean): It seems so. I´m glad you were so kind to tell it me (killing Bobby with her look)…
Be: I came here for work. I´m not journalist anymore, and I will just be here one more day. This will probably the last time we will meet.
B: Are you gonna speak with Mother?
Be: No. This is between you two and me. I can´t erase the past...(Betsy raises her eyebrows, ironically. Close shot of Gibson´s profile, looking at the skyline horizon) Your Mama and I were happily married in 1984…I had a loving wife, a good job and two beautiful babies that made my life even better…even not being really mine. I knew it all the way. Your Mama was very honest to me when she got pregnant and I didn´t care, but it was a long winding road…
Bo: What do you mean?
Ben: We had our ups and downs, like all the couples…(looking at their faces and smiling a sad smile. Bobby smiles him back) Until one day, something happened. (Betsy wide opens her eyes) I was an activist at college…Do you know what an activist is?
B: Sure! You wanted to change the world by yourself?
Be: That´s a correct definition. Too simple but correct (Cut to a medium shot of Bob driving John Ross to the hospital, silently looking at him…) There were too many unfair things to me as to remain quiet. Strikes, speeches, high ideals…and people who used that to cause violence and chaos. One of these people came back when I was with you. It was a woman I had been involved with then. She had become an extremist, and I´m being nice. She wanted me to do the kind of violent things she used to do. Spying, blackmailing, even killing, people she wanted dead.
Bo.: Did you ever kill anyone?
Be. (taking a deep breath): No, I didn´t. But I had been at war. At many of South American and Arabian wars, doing my reporter job, and I saw people die everyday. This woman knew my family, my neighbors, my friends…and she was damn clear: if I didn´t follow her orders, you and your mother would pay consequences…A very powerful person helped me to catch her and then, he let her go…and sent her to South America…But I was obsessed with your security and become paranoid with her. At last, I decided to check out if she really was there. It was either that, or making your life a hell. I gave an excuse to Val, I said that my boss sent me away for a job, and left… (Cut to a medium shot of a sad Pam at the hospital, looking through the window…)
Bo.: Was it too difficult for you then?
Be.: I thought it would be hell…but I knew you were alright and so was your mother. When I read that she had re-married Gary, I gave up thinking I could come back one day…and when I was told the woman had been killed, I prayed…for it to be true. Though I had no right to wish so…The rest was…starting all over…(The song “Forget Me Never” by Elvis Presley begins to play)
“If I should go, forget me never
Please say that you´ll remember me
I pray the dreams we share together
Will shine on in your memory"
Bo.: We were in such a mess with who our father was…or had to be. Mama spent years keeping up appearances and saying you were our Daddy…
Be: My dear Valene…I talked to your father before leaving: I said I was glad to know you had him for security. The biggest truth about them was how much he loved her…almost as much as I love you both.
Be (turning around as she tries to hide her tears): I know something now…
Be: What is it?
B.: I just know who was the one I had been missing since I was a little girl… (Betsy begins to cry in silence. Ben walks towards her and he hugs her, in front of Bobby, who is also crying. The song continues until the end of the scene)

"Each time a star falls out of heaven
It leaves the sky a deeper blue
So if we part, forget me never
And don´t forget my love for you
And don´t forget my love for you”
(Fade Out)

SC.8: INT. – DALLAS PRESS BUILDING

(A door opens and Bob gets into a room where they find John Ross and two other security men, surrounded by camera screens)

Security Man 1: Hello Mr. Ewing.
Bob: Hi Frank. Thank you for calling me…
S.M.1: He was insisting in buying the paper with building and all…
John Ross: And I will, be sure of that.
B.: I´m very sorry about this (looking at the men). Come on, John Ross. Get out of here…
J.R.: You get out! I do whatever I wanna do. They won´t insult the Ewings´ name and less my Mother´s.
B.: Will you be able to keep this private Frank?
F.: I´ll try, but you know that the bosses don´t like the Ewings. It´s hard times for journalists...
B.: He won´t repeat this. Thank you again…
S.M.: Send my regards to your wife…
B.: I will…(John Ross frowns and goes after his uncle)

SC.9: INT. – EWING MANOR IN DALLAS

(Donna walks into the living-room and joins Ray, Pam and Bob)

Donna: Valene is trying to sleep. She would much feel if she could reach Bobby or Betsy by phone…
Pam: Their phones are disconnected, I just called them again.
Bob: The police are doing all they can do. If we just had one clue…
Ray: Was there no witnesses? Maybe some staff from the restaurant…
Bob: No, not at all.
Donna: What about Gary´s business partners? Has he recently had any trouble with them?
Bob: Well, he´s not the type who speaks out his problems…unless he really has to.
Pam: Don´t you remember anything Bob?
Bob: Let me think about it…These last months have been so stressing…(The phone rings)
Pam: Hello. Oh thanks God it´s you, Bobby. (She listens for a few seconds) Ok, we need you here. Please come as soon as you can. (She hangs up) He´s Bobby, he was having dinner with Betsy, his mobile battery was discharged and
she left her one at home.
Donna: I´m so relieved, at least we only have to worry about Gary.
Ray: We should go home now, Maggie was a bit low of sugar today…and nervous, we don´t know what´s happening to her. Call us Bob if we can help.
Bob: Ok. Take care.
Donna: Please keep us updated (she kisses him. They leave. Bob notices Pam´s real, deep worry).
Bob: I know babe. I think the same way. The same way…(They hug)

SC.10: INT. – SUE ELLEN´S HOSPITAL ROOM

(Darkness. The door silently opens. A small light switches on. Suddenly, we hear a bumping noise.)

Sue Ellen (who wasn´t asleep): Who´s there? Please help me, somebody help me…(She switches the light on to find a woman carrying a small camera) Who are you? What the hell are you doin´ here?
Paparazzi: Why did you wanna kill yourself? Is true that you are drinking again? Under these facts, guess you are out of the Woman-Of-The-Year Award competition…
S.E.: You speak as you can, because you´re just a little snake who´s gonna be blast one of these days…
Nurse: What is goin´on here?
S.E.: This…person has entered here in the dark to take pictures of me for his paper…Please call the Police…The last thing I want is reading my personal life in the sensationalistic media…
Nurse: I´m afraid it´s too late darlin´. (She takes the previous day´s paper and gives it to her)
S.E. (looking outraged): Please let me alone. And you, get out of here! You understand? Get out of here! (She picks up her cell phone and calls Shania) Hello dear. I´ve got a big problem and I need your help. Someone seems to have sent paparazzis to my hospital room and I just can´t get rid of them. What´s worse, there´s already one very unflattering picture of me published on that trashy Dallas Press. Please put me with the owner of that garbage factory…Ok, I´ll wait darlin´….

SC.11: EXT. – SOUTHFORK NEIGHBOR RANCH, FORMERLY CALLED WADE RANCH

(The young man who was around Southfork the previous day, now has entered the Callaway Ranch. He slowly walks towards one woman sitting by the pool.)

Young man: You´ve got a wonderful place here ma´am…
Woman: Thank´a boy. Ya can call me Molly. Are ya lookin´ for someone?
Y.M.: Not really. I´m looking for a job. Do you need any personnel, ranch hands or anything?
Molly (lighting a cigarette and offering one to the boy): Well…we need somebody to clean up the pool and take care of the garden. Could you do that?
Y.M.: Sure, I come from L.A., and you know that there´s more pools than straight roads…
M: I live with my man, who´s sick now. So the hard work´s on me and gotta keep up the strong hand on the boys…I´d give ya 50 bucks a week and a place to live, I have a room to spare…
Y.M. (taking a deep inhalation at the cigarette): Shouldn´t your husband be bothered…?
M.: Take it or leave it. If ya don´t want it, somebody else will…
Y.M.: Ok, but make it 60 and my own room.
M.: What else were expecting dear…what´s your name?
Y.M.: Joel, my name is Joel… (Fade Out And End Of Act Two)

SC.12: EXT. – FENCES AT THE CALLAWAY PROPERTY

(Joel is talking with someone by his cell phone)

J: We´re almost in, sis…Ok, I´ll call you your name…Charlie sweetheart, are you glad for your brother´s upward career? You are so lightheaded…If you want me to call you Charlotte, then I´ll call you Charlotte. But the ranch you mentioned is not like you explained: it´s taller now and has many front pillars, and there seems to be sort of works down there…I´ll try to find out more about it…And remember, my name is Joel, now. Not Lucas. Bye Charlie…(He hangs up and laughs)

SC.13: EXT. – FENCES AT THE BARNES RANCH

(The song “Girl” by Pat Benatar begins to play. Medium shot of Beckie caressing her horse)

“Do you like the way it feels when you get hurt?
Maybe you should take a long hard look at your self-worth
Theres an emptiness inside
It started many years ago
You always try to fill it up
Its a familiar place you go
One day you´ll just have to wake up, girl"

Afton: Hi cowgirl!
Beckie: Hi Mother…
A.: You look so pensive. Are you thinking of what the doctor told us yesterday…?
B.: Yeah…I have so many strange words in my head that I couldn´t ask for something for my headache right now.
A.: You heard the doctor. People like you, who have a family record of neurofibromatosis, just have a 50% of probability to transfer the illness to your baby.
B: Why can I only think about the negative things my baby could have if he got that illness?
A.: Because you already love that baby, honey. The doctor told you what he could find in life, at worst: tumors, deformations, strikes…but he didn´t say one thing: that you would love him every minute of his life, sick or not.
B.: Are you trying to convince me to give birth the baby…like you did with me?
A.: I do want you to understand that you will always, always have problems in your life. Health problems too, of course. I don´t wanna press you in any sense at all. Think about it and make a choice. I´ll be ok with it. (Afton kisses her daughter´s cheek) It´s YOUR LIFE, sweetie, but we´ll be together all the way… (The song continues)

"You know you got a lot to learn
You´ve got to do it for yourself
Find your own direction, don´t rely on someone else
You got to know it in your heart
You´ve got to build it up with love, it isn´t hard to rise above
Wake up, you dont wanna make up
You´ve got to do it for yourself…”

SC.14: INT. – SHANIA´S APARTMENT IN DALLAS

(The woman gets into her apartment and turns the lights on. She gets a surprise to see that the whole furniture and decoration has been changed.)

Shania: Mother are you home?
Mandy: I´m at the bathroom, you can come in.
S. (She finds her mother enjoying a bubble bath): What have you been doing with my apartment?
M.: Oh I though you needed a little help from Mama to update the furniture. It was very old-fashioned. And those red lights are so relaxing…
S.: Do you remember that this is my apartment, paid by myself monthly?
M.: And do you remember who gave you the alibi you needed the night Sue Ellen went off the wagon? The police seem rather suspicious until I said that I was with you until you went to Sue Ellen´s.
S.: How have you paid all this Mother?
M.: Using your credit card, of course. Just a loan until my bank finishes all the transfer stuff.
S.: (looking ice serious) Good night Mama…
M.: I think I´ll also change this tub and put a Iacuzzi…
S.: (offscreen) Don´t dare to!

SC.15: INT. – EWING MANOR´S GARDEN

(Val is surrounded by her son and daughter, sitting by the pool, as she sits at the white table.)

Bobby: That´s a better pool than the piece of sea we have in Galveston…I wish we could have one in our new house…
Betsy: It´s a good idea, even coming from you, little brother…
Val: It´s nice to see that you agree about something, finally.
Bo.: We have been dumbasses instead of adult people, Mama.
B.: Speak for you idiot. Who says you´re not a dumbass anymore? (Pushing him into the pool)
Val (begins to laugh): Look out Betsy, he could get hurt.
Betsy: Oh yes, he could lose his only brain cell and become a porcelain statue for the garden. (Bobby sneaks and takes her to throw her into the pool. And she begins to scream, especially when she gets into the cold water)
Val (looking at them and smiling): You´re hopeless kids…
Bo.: She´s smiling again…
B.: Good job. Mission accomplished…

SC.16: INT. – SUE ELLEN´S HOSPITAL ROOM

Sue Ellen: Oh please Dr. Laurie, I have to go home now. I feel perfectly.
Dr. Laurie: We got the results of the first tests done, and it seems that the only alcohol that has been in your blood in many years was that vodka from the night in question. However, you did have the usual doses of sleeping-pills…prescribed by your doctor.
S.E.: I was down that night, and maybe I doubled the dose, but that´s all. I will ever touch a glass of vodka again…If you knew me for years, then you´d know why…
Dr.: I´m young but clever enough to have read your history, Mrs. Ewing…
S.E.: Please, I´m Mrs. Shepard now.
Dr.: You committed yourself into a clinic in Europe last year because you were stressed and exhausted due to overworking.
S.E.: That´s true. I don´t wanna pose as St. Joan of Ark, dear doctor. I am an alcoholic and I always will. But I can distinguish between a stress condition and a delirium tremens…
Dr.: You are strong and determined, Mrs. Shepard. You still have the result of the CT Scanner pending. Ok, you can go home tomorrow and come back the next day.
S.E.: Thank you Doctor!
Dr.: But you must commit yourself to begin a psychotherapy within one week.
S.E. (smiling): Ok, deal done, doc…

SC.17-1: INT. – KREBBSES PRAIRIES

(Donna and Maggie are riding their horses. When they stop, take a seat under a tree to talk)

Maggie: Thanks for agreeing to come here Mama.
Donna: It´s one of the most beautiful little places in the Krebbs properties.
M.: I want to ask you something…about Daddy.
D.: Sure, go ahead…
M.: What´s wrong with Daddy lately? He´s having those horrible nightmares…
D.: Well, I´d have explained it to you at home. I guess we all are getting a bit paranoid…Your Daddy´s feelin´ guilty for something that only was an accident…
M.: Does it have anything to do with his late wife Jenna?
D.: Yes, my sensitive darlin´…When Ray and Jenna got married and their son Lucas was born, they soon realized that living near Southfork implied a lot of extra problems, so they packed up and left to Europe, first to Switzerland, where her daughter found a boarding school, and then they ended up living in a quiet place in Nice, France…
M.: I knew where Nice is…
D.: I knew you knew…(winking an eye to her. Cut to flashback scene)

FB SC1: INT. – KREBBSES APARTMENT IN NICE

Jenna: I´m so tired Ray…
Ray: Tired? Of what?
J: Tired of waiting for Charlie to grow up…We´re having a good life here in Nice. There´s only you and me…and you´ve been avoiding the problems…
R: Problems? What problems?
J: What problems? Ray, after all that´s happened to us, you say what problems? My daughter has been expelled from every private high school in Switzerland and she can´t go out to the street without getting into trouble.
R: So what can we do to help her Jenna?
J: Maybe she could go back to Texas and the influence of the family could set her straight…And poor Lucas. He doesn´t know her at all, she´s always out on her secret dates and he doesn´t recognize her when she is back…

SC.17-2: INT. – KREBBSES PRAIRIES

(Cut back to the previous scene)

D.: But Jenna had had enough of Texas for a few years and didn´t want to accompany him. When JR died, your Daddy decided to go back to Southfork and let Charlie there. John Ross and Christopher were not children anymore and she could make new friends there too. But Charlie ran away and lost touch with her family. Jenna was more and more resented to him because Ray started a land project with Bob and had to fly to Dallas very often (Cut to flashback scene).

FB SC2: INT. – KREBBSES APARTMENT

R: These business trips help us to live the life we live!
J: Ray, open your eyes: I have a job too, and I´m paying all the bills. I don´t like this kind of life. I´m still young and healthy and I want to live the high life again…
R.: Is there anybody else Jenna?
J.: That isn´t the point, this marriage doesn´t work out…I want a divorce…
R.: Divorce? What about the baby?
J.: The baby? Lucas is MY baby, and that´s the way it reads in his birth certificate.
R.: You lied once about your children´s fatherhood: Bobby ain´t Charlie´s father and you put his name on her certificate…That´d be something on my side at court. Besides, why are ya stopping Bob to see his own blood and flesh? If he calls ya when he´s in Europe, ya always giv´m an excuse.
J.: Seeing Bob is uneasy to me and you´d should try to understand that, Ray.
R.: Who´s the guy Jenna? Any judge wouldn´t give her son to an adulterous wife…
B.: You damned! Are you trying to say that you want to take my son away…? (Cut back to the present scene)

SC.17-3: INT. – KREBBSES PRAIRIES

D.: To worsen things, Ray and I encountered each other by chance in Switzerland, and began to see each other as I was separated from Andrew...
M.: But please tell me about the accident! Why is Daddy feeling guilty about it? (Cut to flashback scene)

FB SC3: INT. – KREBBSES APARTMENT

(One rainy night, Ray leaves Jenna asleep and takes Lucas and his bag…)

J.: Where are you supposedly goin´?
R.: Bob has the rights to see his one and only son. Lucas is a Ewing and he should know Southfork.
J.: You won´t steal Bobby´s child, oh no, hell you won´t…
R.: Try to stop me. Let´s go Lucas. (Jenna tries to take the child away from him but she can´t. When he leaves, she makes a call)
Jenna: Charlie, I need you now. It´s very important…Ray has kidnapped the baby…

FB SC4: INT. – RAINY, LONELY ROAD

(Ray is driving his car with the child sitting at the back seat)

R.: Damned myself! Why the hell did I had to leave Texas? (Some miles back, Jenna drives her car following Ray´s track)
Charlie: Mother, where are we going…?
J: Oh please shut up Charlie…
C: Mother, it´s raining heavily. Why don´t we stop? Ray´s just a bastard Mother! He really is!
J: Charlie shut up! (Jenna looks behind and the car suddenly slips away and goes off the road, falling down and turning around a couple of times. Cut back to the previous scene)

SC.17-4: INT. – KREBBSES PRAIRIES

M.: What happened then? What did Daddy do?
D.: He had recognized the car and had turned around to make Jenna stop. He arrived at the accident place too late. The car was down the cliff, and was in fire. He rushed to rescue them but only Charlie could be taken out…She was
disfigured and amnesic. Jenna died during the car crash. Daddy tried to save Jenna too, but the flames didn´t let him open the door. He put his own life in danger to save her. But he couldn´t. That´s the story my sweetheart. Daddy´s
mind is playing with reality when he has those nightmares…He only wanted the best for Lucas…
M.: Where´s he now?
D.: He was given in adoption upon Jenna´s last will. We didn´t hear from them since then… (Fade Out And End Of Act Three)

SC.18: EXT. – CALLAWAY TERRACE

(A shirtless Lucas is cleaning the pool while Molly looks at him from a window. Suddenly, he looks around and, unnoticing the curtain movement, he takes his jeans off and jumps into the pool, naked. Molly keeps looking and lights a cigarette. Lucas swims up and down the pool as Molly can´t take her eyes off the young man…)

SC.19: INT. – WILL MONAHAN´S APARTMENT

(The couple is having a romantic dinner at the terrace)

Will: This is looking at you kid…(They click their glasses of wine) I was so worried when you missed our appointment. I couldn´t help to call your family. I hope you can understand.
Bobby: Sure. I´d done the same thing. You´re always so considerate to me, and loving...
Will: You know, Bobby. When we first met…
B.: When we had that accident…
Will: Yeah, when you crashed into my life…I´d never had such an afortunate accident.
B.: Neither do I Will.
W.: I don´t wanna live depending on accidents, on luck or misluck. I wanna live these moments intensely. I´ve been thinking about this the time we´ve been apart…
B.: Me too…
W.: Bobby, do you want to settle in and live with me?
B. (looking serious): I´d love to…
W.: But?
B.: My sister is determined to quit home and find a job, and my daddy has just disappeared and nobody knows where he is. I hope he is not drinking again…
W.: But that´s family Bobby. And it´ll always be there, and you´ll be there for them. This has to do with making your own life independently from your family, with someone you love…
B.: I love you Will…
W.: I love you too. What can you lose if you settle up here, with me?
B.: Nothing I guess. It´s been a quite intense day…I can´t explain what happened because I was asked not to, but it has to do with my mother…(Bobby looks at Will´s teary eyes…) Yes I will…
W.: You Will...what?
B.: I will come to live with you Will, and don´t make fun of me anymore…(The couple kisses and embraces…)

SC.20: INT. – SHANIA´S APARTMENT

(Somebody rings the doorbell)

Mandy: I´m coming, I´m coming…Just one minute (she looks at the mirror and opens the door)
Man: We´re from Home Online. Are you Miss Shania Wyatt?
M.: No, why? What´s wrong?
Ma.: We got a call cancelling the order for furniture and other items. We must take it away…
M.: But you can´t! I made that order myself!
Ma.: But you ain´t Miss Wyatt, ain´t ya?
M.: No but…
Ma.: Come on boys, let´s take our listed things…(Two other men get into the place as Mandy gives them a killing look. Then she takes her mobile and dials her daughter´s number)
Shania´s message: I´m not available now. Please leave a message and I will call you. (Then the beep sounds. Mandy hungs down)
M.: You little bitch!

SC.21: INT. – LIVING-ROOM AT EWING MANOR

(Somebody opens the door and Val, sitting at the armchair in the living-room, turns her head to that direction: it is Gary. He slowly walks in and Val gets up. They look at each other)

Val: Gary…
Gary: I´m ok Valene.
V.: What happened to you?
G.: The person I am tuthoring at A.A. called me when I was waiting for you and begged me to go as soon as possible. It was a matter of life or death Val. And my cell was out of coverage…
V.: Are you alright?
G.: Yeah. I was worried about ya.
V.: I´ll be upstairs packing up. I´m returning to Galveston tomorrow. (She goes upstairs…)
G.: Valene...! Please Valene...! (Gary looks impotent and he takes his jacket off: one of his arms is seriously hurt and bleeding. Fade Out And End Of Act Four)

SC.22: INT. – WENTWORTH INDUSTRIES BUILDING IN HOUSTON

(Subtitle: Six months later. Pam comes out of the building surrounded by bodyguards and press people)
Journalist 1: Mrs. Ewing, is true that you have sold your company out?
Lawyer: No comments, please do not block the pass.
Journalist 2: This action is rumored to have become you the wealthiest woman in America, am I right? (Pam smiles and keeps walking, leaving the paper people behind…)

SC.23: EXT. – SOUTHFORK PRAIRIES

(Bob is riding his horse and, when he notices his brother Gary riding too, he spurs on the animal. So does Gary and Bob eventually catches them ) :

Bob (breathing heavily): Do you wanna kill me boy?
Gary: Bobby Ewing can´t die…
B.: I´m not so sure of it…I wanna talk to you. You´ve been so evasive since you sold out the Natural Gas Company…Did it have anything to do with the time you were missing?
G.: I´m an alcoholic, brother. Not all the things I do have a straight explanation…
B.: Hey, look at me. I´m little Bobby, I tamed that horse for you when we were just teenagers, remember? I gave you a nice little home in California for you and Val to live…
G.: For God´s sake I know, I do know…(looking away) It´s a hard time…Val still is in Galveston, and our kids are living on its own…and Mama is gone…
B.: That goes for me too Gary. I have a son who´s officially dead. And Mama´s dead for me too. Now we have a whole new house for us to live in. Let the past go and fight for the things than you can still have…We´re not teenagers
anymore…(Gary spurs his horse and leave. Bobby is pensive. Then he remembers something her Mother told him once)

Ellie (offscreen): I always pictured Christopher and John Ross growing side by side, and then, they´re finally struggling in the business together, the way Jock used to…(Bob sheds one tear)

SC.24: INT.- DALLAS BAR

(Cliff waits for someone he´s an appointment with. Finally the man arrives)

Man: Hello Mr. Barnes…
Cliff: Hello Stevens…You got everything?
Stevens: Yeah. You got the money.
C: I got a cheque. Any cheque with the Barnes signature is good as hell.
S. (handing the cheque and checking it out): I guess so. Here´s the report (he takes out a folder with the title “Rebecca Barnes”) I´ll be available for any further research.
C.: If you did things right, this will be enough. So? (opening the folder)
Stevens: Your daughter is not back at college in Mississippi, she is with your wife Afton in Atlanta, with her uncle Mitch. And your daughter Rebecca is over eight months pregnant. She´ll give birth in a couple of weeks.
C.(shocked): I hope there´s evidence of all that here…(the man nods) By the way…(speaking slower) Who is…the baby´s daddy?
S.: You can see the picture at the last page, along with his name…
C. (open-mouthed): Are you…sure…that this is the boy?
S.: 100% sure. My granddaughter works in that Adoption Agency and she could reach the file.
C.: So…my daughter is having a baby with Bobby Ewing´s illegitimate son Lucas…
S.: Now his legal name is Joel…
C.: Stevens, thank you very much. I think I´m not gonna need ya anymore…(making a forced smile)

SC.25: YOUNG GENERATION MONTAGE

(The song “Girl” by Pat Benatar is played all over again. The montage features the following images: Beckie trying to help her mother to cook, but Afton insists on her to sit down. Beckie caresses her belly. Fade to next image: Donna is lessoned by her daughter Maggie about computers at the new Krebbs business office. Fade to next image: An adult show lighting and fade out to the inside: we see a young blonde woman playing sexy, and then, right behind her, Betsy shows up, wearing a mini-dress, and smiling a big smile…The male audience applaudes…)

“Do you like the way it feels when you get hurt?
Maybe you should take a long hard look at your self-worth
Theres an emptiness inside
It started many years ago
You always try to fill it up
It´s a familiar place you go
One day you´ll just have to wake up, girl
You know you got a lot to learn
You´ve got to do it for yourself
Find your own direction, don´t rely on someone else
You got to know it in your heart
You´ve got to build it up with love, it isn´t hard to rise above
Wake up, you don´t wanna make up
You´ve got to do it for yourself
I know it feels sometimes that loneliness is worse
And with every change there comes a melancholy search
Now you can walk away from this
It doesn´t have to bring you down
Have faith in destiny you what goes around, comes around
You don´t have to stay and take it, girl”

SC.26: SHEPARD INDUSTRIES BUILDING

Shania (talking on the cell): We´re looking forward to see you dear Sue Ellen. I hope your holidays in France were just marvellous. I´m glad you agreed with the business decisions Pam and I made…Yes, she is leaving today…I can´t wait to see you too. Goodbye Sue Ellen. (She hangs up and smiles happily. Then she reads the paper headlines: EWING-WENTWORTH HEIRESS SELLS OUT GOODS. Now the wealthiest woman in Texas will tour around the world with husband)

SC.27: FORMER EWING BUILDING SQUARE

(John Ross is walking up and down as he talks on the cell phone)

John Ross: Yes, I know that we´re just two paid executives James, but I can´t forget who my father was. Especially now, with that traitor Pamela selling her Mama´s company to some strangers…I´ll never forgive her for this. You know how hard we have been working for raising up our own company. Yes, we got the money Daddy left us but that´s not enough. We must do something drastic!…Well, I gotta leave you now James. Bye. (James stops to hang up the cell and, suddenly, a fancy car parks in front of the building and a woman in her thirties gets out of the car, elegantly, wearing a classy but sexy executive dress. He stares at her and then, the action happens in slow motion. The woman is carrying a suitcase and doesn´t notice John Ross. But he has noticed something and somebody…He runs towards the woman and pushes her down, a shot is heard and then they roll behind a red statue in the middle of the street. John Ross touches his arm: he has been shot)
Woman: Are you alright? (The policemen arrive and some people point at a corner of the building. Somebody seems to have shot from there and has ran away…)
John Ross: Yes, it just passed by. I´m sorry about the suit. It was new.
Woman: Please send me the bill. I´m very thankful but I have a business meeting now. Glad to meet you, I am Andrea. (She hands him a business card)
John Ross: And I am John Ross…(She goes into the building followed by he security men from the building and a couple of policemen) Hope to see you again…

SC.28: LOCATION UNKNOWN

(Mandy is waiting for someone. Then he appears: it is Dusty Farlow)

Mandy: Hi darlin´. How are you? They treat you well?
Dusty: I´m ok…for being in prison…(the camera pans away to show the prison guard) What brought you back at Texas?
M.: I heard what happened to you…and I wanna help. I know how hard this kind of places can be…
D. (nodding): Yeah, you know them by first hand, don´t ya?
M.: There are things a gentleman must never say to a lady, and that´s one of them…
D.: Ok, don´t waste your time. What the hell do ya want from me?
M.: I want to get you out of here.
D.: For a prize, I guess?
M.: Not too high dear Dusty. I know it´s bad times for you cowboys…
D. (ironically): I can´t wait to hear more…

SC.29: VIP´S ROOM AT DALLAS-FORT WORTH AIRPORT

Pam: I talked to Sue Ellen this morning. I´m so glad she is recovering well and her thepary sessions are goin´ just fine.
Bob: Me too. Do you think it´s a good decision not to fly in our jet?
P.: Sure honey. This is 2004 and the way oil business goes, we must save as much as we can. Besides, it´s something for the youth…like John Ross. I don´t need to be impressed…by those kind of things. Here´s your ticket.
B.: Thank you babe. (Bob reads the destination name) Hey this must be wrong…
P.: No it´s not…(looking intensely at her husband) Bobby…I´ll take my chances…Will you take yours?
B. (serious): Of course I will. (He kisses his wife with passion) I love you (the song “So Beautiful” by Chris de Burgh begins to play).

“I'm spending all the days dreaming of the nights we've had
I never knew that love would be a miracle
When I think of all the ones before
But now that I've found you I am flying
I never knew that love would be so beautiful to me" (twice)

SC.30: NEWS STAND AT DALLAS-FORT WORTH AIRPORT

(The camera pans into a paper headline: “MULTIPLE CRIME SUSPECT ARRESTED IN N.Y.C. CUSTOMS. Madeleine Farlow, late Oil Baron Clayton Farlow´s widow, was arrested a few hours ago and is awaiting for being questioned by the FBI.”)

SC.31: A EUROPEAN-LOOKING STREET IN WINTER

Subtitle: “The same time, another city". A limo is driven through the street.

Woman: Hahaha, that´s so funny…You´re a liar. Oh yeah I will go the party, how could I miss it.
Driver: Excuse me madam, is this the right place?
W.: Oh yeah, thank you. Must be hang up now. Bye darlin´.
D.: You should not go alone through this part ot the town, madam.
W.: You´re so kind to tell…My husband died last year…in a skiing accident. And I´ve been feeling so helpless since then.
D.: Do you want me to wait for you?
W.: Yes, thank you (the driver gets out of the car and open´s the back door. The woman gets out: it´s Madeleine, who smiles and walks out of the shot. Freeze Frame)

End of Episode 20

(The song “So Beautiful” begins to play again, as the end credits roll.)

“I'm lying here tonight thinking of the days we've had
Wondering if the world would be so beautiful
If I had not looked into your eyes
How did you know that I've been waiting?
I never knew the world would be so beautiful at all;
I'm spending all the days dreaming of the nights we've had
I never knew that love would be a miracle
When I think of all the ones before
But now that I've found you I am flying
I never knew that love would be so beautiful to me
I never knew that love would be so beautiful to me;
And when we dance to the rhythm that is burning like a flame
And when you touch me I can hardly move you take my breath away
You give me all that I want to feel when we become as one
And then you take me to the heaven of your heart;
Did nobody ever tell you you're the best thing that has ever been;
Ah ... you ... ah ... so beautiful ... ah ... so beautiful ...
I'm standing here tonight thinking of the time we'll have
I never knew that you would be so beautiful
From the day you came into my life
I just want to say you make me happy
I never knew that you would be so beautiful to me
I never knew that you would be so beautiful to me;
So beautiful to me ...
So beautiful to me ...
So beautiful to me ...
... to me…”

@Toni I've caught up again. :)

Poor Ray being haunted by bad memories from when Jenna died. It doesn't make sense how she stipulated that Lucas be adopted by someone else though. I thought for sure that if something happened to her she would want Bobby or Ray to raise her son. Probably Bobby if you think about the scene in the nursery where she admitted that she still loved him. I really can't picture her wanting her son to be raised by strangers rather than by his fathers.

I didn't expect Lucas to be called Joel. Also since he was adopted as a baby I am not sure how Charlie knows him. I thought you said earlier that Charlie had raised him after Jenna died?

I was under the impression that he was older then and not just a baby. Still I was surprised by the twist that Lucas/Joel was the father of Becky's baby. I hadn't expected that. Neither had Cliff apparently. I am glad that Afton is cured by her cancer btw. She was really supportive of Becky being young and pregnant.

I loved that JR came to Sue Ellen in her dreams/comatose state of mind. It's like he's still looking out for her and John Ross. :)

Shania is super annoying. I wonder how long it's gonna take until someone sees through that bitch!

Also JR already has a daughter - Ellie, even though to be honest I think of her more as Cally and James daughter by now.

I didn't expect Ben to come back. His scene with the twins were really touching. :hat:
Poor babies loosing the only father they had ever known when they were like two or three years old.

I am glad Gary was fine though.

So what's next?

@Karin Schill, Thanks a lot for your feedback again (I can read a challenge in your words?).

There´s more to the last day of Jenna and the status of her relationship with Ray, just wait a little. Anyway, she always was a very proud woman (I´m gonna be kind here...) and if Charlie was over 18 already, then Lucas should need a stable family. This happened in the TLYOS timeline (all canon) and it was 1992. Bobby and Pam were still apart, and Ray was going to get a divorce soon. She very likely would prefer Lucas (around 6 y.o.) to be raised by a stable happy couple. Just my 2 cents. Besides, Ray cheated on her 5 minutes after their wedding happened...

About Lucas going under the Joel name, he´s just pulling a Wes Parmalee here. He´s working in the next-door ranch, so to say, and wants to get a look at his blood relatives. As you will get to know later, Lucas went from one home to another, and Charlie kept the right to see him. Beckie and Lucas´s affair took place off-screen, in the time between seasons.

I think that Shania is the character that has raised the strongest (negative) reaction in the readers of EE, and I´m glad it´s this way. Oh and I got the inspiration for her through two workmates I had... Don´t ask me more, lol.

I´m also happy that you know all the "Knots" facts, and that you liked (you did, didn´t you?) that I wrapped up that loose end from the original Californian saga. He won´t re-appear though he might be mentioned in another fanfic I´m writing now, entitled "Return to Knots Landing". I will tell you about it when time is right.

And next, two more episodes of Season 4. I really hope you like the new plot developments!

PS: The episodes title is a reference to one of Elvis Presley´s least known songs, "Forget Me Never". It is a nod to you know who, of course...

Episode 21:
BILLION DOLLAR BABY

SC1 – INT. MONTAGE SUE ELLEN´S MANOR / JOHN ROSS´APARTMENT

(SUE ELLEN wakes up and begins to prepare herself for a really tough day. At the same time, JOHN ROSS is already taking a shower in his new apartment and gets a diet breakfast after working out at his own house. / SUE ELLEN chooses the suit she is going to wear that day. She walks down to the dining-room, where JAMES, CALLY and their children Jimmy and Ellie are already having breakfast.)

Cally: Good morning, Sue Ellen. You look wonderful, I love your new hairstyle…
James: We´re very happy you allowed us to stay here while you were in Europe.
S.E.: Well, I guess you´re my family now. I travelled to France in order to spend a couple of weeks in the best Spa and, when I came back, I found John Ross barely talks to me…and he´s run away to get his own apartment.
James: He had been waiting for his inheritance for years, Sue Ellen, and you know that. He was anxious to get the lifestyle he was raised to have, and he´s working hard to invest his fortune on something profitable. You should understand his attitude…
S.E.: I do James, better than I wanted to. It makes me think of my dear late husband, and how he raised his son. Always magnifying Big Jock´s real role in the family, using John Ross as a pawn in our fights for custody…Now it´s time for him to fly away…away home.
C.: Sue Ellen, you know you can count on us, but we don´t wanna disturb your privacy…
S.E.: Sweetheart you all are making me feel less alone especially now, and I care about you and the kids. So please stay as long as you want to.
C.: You´re such a lady, Sue Ellen. I hope you can win the "Dallas Woman Of The Year Award”…
S.E.: That´s only an award, I wish I could re-connect with my son the way we were before…(James looks at Cally and Cally holds S.E.´s hand warmly).

SC2 – EXT. AIR VIEW OF JOHN ROSS DRIVING HIS BRAND NEW MERCEDES ON THE DALLAS STREETS

(A lot of thoughts come in and out of John Ross´s mind. Some from the far past, others from the near present, but John Ross´s face stays tough. Montage of Thoughts: John Ross: “Mommie, mommie, there was a lot of lights and firemen too…(Sound Clip from “The Road Back”.)

J.R.: “Your Mama is crazy, boy” (Sound Clip from Season 11).
J.R.: “John Ross…This is EWING OIL (showing him Jock´s portrait)…(Sound Clip from “The Fall of The Ewing House”)…
J.R.(reading Jock´s last letter): ”Never stop trying and never let the bastards get you down. The Ewing name and our company can´t stop with me or you. Perhaps with God ´s Grace, I´ll be back to stand beside you, as one day you´ll stand beside your son and pass the torch to him” (Sound Clip from “Daddy Dearest”)…
John Ross: “Look Mother: this is Ewing Oil, and now it´s all yours. Run it by youself because you probably intended that…” (Sound Clip from “My Best Enemy´s Wedding”(III).
John Ross: Go to hell you all. I don´t need you, not even you, my bastard brother James…(He arrives at his new job building and drives to the parklot.)

SC3 – EXT. STREETS OF DALLAS IN THE MORNING

(Shot of Shania´s feet walking her way to the “Shepard Industries” office Building and suddenly stopping at a shop with a TV set inside, reporting about the new list of the top powerful women in Texas. She wide opens her eyes and notices Pamela Ewing´s name at the top of the list. Thanks to her recent sold-outs, Pam has become the most powerful woman in all Texas. Shania keeps walking and gets a newspaper before entering the elevator. When Shania arrives at the office, surprisingly Sue Ellen is already there, after having a meeting with someone unknown to her. They say goodbye to each other and then tells Shania to come in on her office).

S.E.: Dear Shania, I´ve been studying your reports from the last six months and I must admit that you have done an excellent job.
Shania (faking surprise): Thank you so much Sue Ellen. It´s all due to your training, you know that.
S.E.: I have been thinking about changing a few things here and there…
S.: What do you exactly mean?
S.E.: I think you´re the right person to revamp our Style magazine, you know, the one we called Woman Today. But I think you need a proper motivation for that…(She handles a document over to her)
Shania: Are you making me your equal partner in the magazine ownership?
S.E.: Yes, that´s right. You got talent, a personality and a sense of urgency to improve the women´s status on Dallas. Who better than you for this job?
S. (slightly heartwarmed): Oh this is so unexpected Sue Ellen…
S.E.: But why darling? You´ve been loyal to me for almost a year and even saved my life when I accidentally overdose. You´re hardworker and never put your personal life before your work obligations.
S.: What about Pamela? She´s gonna come back some day.
S.E.: Let me handle that, but Pamela has made a choice. She isn´t interested in business any more and I must respect that. So, we are partners?
S. (shaking her hand): Oh yeah, we are partners (kissing Sue Ellen´s cheek. Fade Out And End of Act 1)

SC4 – EXT. / INT. DARK RESTAURANT IN DOWNTOWN DALLAS

(Shot of Sue Ellen joining a woman detective who is drinking a scotch.)

Deirdre: Would you like one…?
S.E.: No thank you. I´d go straight to business.
D.: It´s fine for me.
S.E.: This is the staff at my company. I want a complete investigation of ALL OF THEM, what they do out of work, if they have criminal record, if they have been married and how many times…
D.: This one is very good looking. And has a high profile in your company (taking out a picture of Shania).
S.E.: Yes it´s true.
D: You want her investigated too?
S.E.: I want her ESPECIALLY investigated, if you understand what I mean…

SC5 – EXT. TOWNSEND ADOPTION AGENCY BUILDING IN DALLAS

(General shot of sad Ray and Donna coming downstairs. He suddenly stops)

Ray: Well, he didn´t want to be found. At least we know he was adopted after the trial.
Donna: That was Jenna´s last will, wasn´t it? Oh please Ray, don´t get obsessed about that, honey.
R.: I´m not obsessed but he is my brother Bobby´s natural son and it´s natural that I care about him, and his whereabouts.
D.: What about Charlie?
R.: We lost touch after the trial. She was so depressed, and influenced by that boyfriend of hers, Randy…
D.: Ray, if you wanna find out where he is now, get a detective to follow his track. Otherwise, please please concentrate on your family: Maggie needs a father very badly now, and I just can´t connect with her as I used to… (They kiss and get nto their car and leave)

SC6 – EXT. SOUTHFORK PRAIRIES

(Travelling into Gary, talking to his horse)

Gary: You know, boy, life is a mess. It´s always been a mess to me. I spent many years with the wrong women and, when I returned to my first love, something went wrong and changed my life forever…Fade into Flashback)

FB1 – INT. USED CAR BEING DRIVEN IN THE DIRECTION OF THE SUBURBAN DALLAS

(Gary wakes up inside the car and sees a big gun pointing at him. He looks up and sees the face of his kidnapper)

Gary (confused): Where the hell I am?
Michael: On the Road to Perdition, pal.
G.: Is this a bad joke, do I owe some money?
M.: No. And yes. You owe to us all your money…
G.: You better shoot me than play games with me. I´m not in the mood.
Kevin: Tell the guy who we are, Mike!
G.: Who the hell are you?
M.: We´re Richard Channing´s sons. Do you remember him? You conned him two million dollars.
G.: That´s not true. It all was my lawyer Alan Beam´s fault, he quit and took that money along…Ask him!
K.: Too late. He and his wife had an accident down in Mexico…A fatal accident. (Gary´s face begins to look concerned as he feels a deep pain in his right arm. Fade Out And End Of Act 2)

SC7 – EXT. BOBBY AND BETSY WALKING DOWN THE BEACH IN GALVESTON

(Bobby suggests taking a sit on a rocky esplanade. Betsy agrees.)

Be.: How´s Mama?
B.: Awful. She´s going thru one of her silent crisis, she is isolated of everyone and doesn´t want to hear what Dad has to say…
Be.: Every time I hear you say Dad, I think you mean Ben, instead of Gary. Do you think I will ever overcome it?
B.: Maybe some day. But you should remember that Gary is not only our natural Dad, but also acted as our Dad for the last…what…14 years?
Be: I can´t see him that way…Maybe I should talk to Lucy…She had issues with Dad too…
B.: Well, if your new mystery job gives you enough time to talk to your older sister.
Be: Bobby, I had to leave that house and make my own living. I know I´m not living my dreams but, for now, I can pay a rent with my workmate…
B.: Is she nice?
Be: Well, I´m sure she wouldn´t be welcome at one of the Southfork barbecues… I knew her on the Girl Chat and talked for hours during one month. Then I asked her about her job and she insisted in me to go to see her. She´s an artist, and everybody look at her when she´s on the stage…I wish I could do that.
B.: Be careful little sister, those words could fit in a lot of problematic “jobs”…Shall we go to the house now?
Be: No, I´ll stay for awhile and listen to the waves…It makes me relax…Then I´ll drive back to Dallas. (Kissing Bobby) Thank you for being here.

SC8 -INT. CALLAWAY DINING-ROOM IN BRADDOCK

(Molly, her husband and Lucas are having dinner together at the patio)

Hank: You´re doin´ a great job here Joel…and I want ya to know…
Joel: Thank you Mr. Callaway. It was a good chance for me to settle down in Dallas. I love Texas…
Molly: Joel is not just a cowboy and a pool-cleaner, Hankie dear, he speaks several languages and he´s a very hard…worker.
J.: (looking at Molly): It´s easy to work in a place you feel like home.
H.: Keep on working like that and you might get a surprise…
J.: (shocked): What kind of surprise?
H.: I could build a new house for you near the West fences…
J.: (looking at Molly): Here´s ok for me, don´t need my own house.
M.: Let me giv´ya one advice boy, if Hank Callaway wanna give you a house, don’t argue with him, just take it!
J.: (moody): Ok, I´m gonna have a smoke now. Swell meal as usual, Mrs. Callaway. (He gets out to the terrace, followed by Molly)
M.: Never contradict him again, never!
J. (smoking a cigarette): Give me a good reason.
M.: My husband has two sides: one is a smooth rancher who smokes big cigars and the other…
J.: What about the other?
M.: You´d get scared at it. Shall we take a swim?
J.: Isn´t he smoking at the back patio?
M.: He must be already sleeping there, I slipped a couple of sleeping pills to make his night life better…and mine too. (She takes her clothes off and jumps onto the pool. Then she encourages Joel, who gets naked and joins her in the warm waters…Molly puts her body onto his and kisses him with passion. Joel hesitates one second and then, he kisses her back…)

SC9 – EXT. BURNT UNIT IN ATLANTA HOSPITAL

(Establishing shot of the Hospital and then, a helicopter awaits on the grass. Cliff gets out of the building and gets on the helicopter as he says to the helicopter pilot)

Cliff: She´s not here. We should fly to her Mother´s house in Biloxi!

Pilot: But Mr. Barnes, it will take us the whole day!
Cliff: Never mind, I´ll pay you double!! I gotta find my daughter before it´s too late! (The helicopter flies away from the Atlanta lands. Fade Out And End Of Act Three)

SC10 – INT. MONAHAN CORPORATIVE LOANS OFFICE

(Will opens the door of Bobby´s office and both of them get inside)

Bobby: Wow! It´s fabulous…Is it your office?
Will: No, it´s yours… (looking at him) if you like to.
B.: I´d love to work here but I need to know exactly what I´d do before…
W.: Do you mean that being together all day long wouldn´t be enough…? (Getting closer to him)
B.: If we were here all day long, all we´d do would be rolling over the carpets, you be sure of that…But I want a real job in your company, or elsewhere.
W.: I was just kidding, my sweet boy…(He sits at his laptop and pushes some buttons. Then pops up the picture of Bobby´s, and his charge in the company.)
B. (he reads): “Research of potential clients previous to the factual interview, accompanied with the Director.” Are you the Director?
W.: Yes I am, this is my own company. Would you like to be my associate, too?
B. (doubtful): I don´t know if I am capable to do that.
W.: I´ll teach you how. I´ll spend as many hours as necessary to make the best researcher of you.
B. (shyly smiling): I need some time to think about it…
W. (somewhat disappointed): You got it. But don´t forget one thing: (getting intimate) I WANT YOU, here and out of here(Bobby smiles, teary-eyed…).

SC11 – INT. ARLISS COOPER´S HOUSE IN BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI

Cliff: Mrs. Cooper, I´m so sorry to disturb your quiet life…
Arliss: Please go to the point Mr. Barnes.
C.: Call me Cliff please.
A.: I´ll decide what name I´ll call after we had talked…
C.: You must know already, but your grand-daughter Rebecca is 8-month pregnant and vanished from Dallas a few weeks ago. Your daughter Afton was with her, and I must, I need to find both of them.
A.: Why, Cliff?
C.: Because…because I love them very much and I couldn´t live without´em. Is this clear enough?
A.: Quite clear. (She hangs up the phone and dials a number) Hi honey, He´s here and wants you both. Something has to be done with this, right dear?

SC12 – INT. BILOXI MEDICAL CENTER

(Establishing shot of the Hospital)

C.: Why Afton? Why again? You know I didn´t deserve it this time…
Afton (looking away): You, always you. What about me? (turning around to him) Since I was diagnosed the cancer, my life began to disappear…I was nothing again. Not a singer any more. Not a TV host any more. Not even Rebecca seemed to need me like she used to. I made up my mind and promised myself that she would have that wonderful life I always dreamt about for me. I ceased to exist, and began to live through her…
C.: I understand that honey…that´s why we should go home right away, to…
A.: Let me finish. When Beckie told me she was pregnant, I seemed to go thru a déjà vu: it was the same situation I was in two decades before. I wanted no other influence for her in order to decide what to do with her baby. When I was expecting her, I already knew about the neurofibromatosis and had to make a choice. I just wanted give her the same right: to make a choice free of influences, not even mine. She got all the information from the doctors, and she decided.
C.: Please Afton, tell me, where is our daughter?
A.: She´s in the O.R. She eventually decided to have the baby and take the chances…
C. (beginning to cry): Oh Afton…I lost two brothers due to that illness…and I don´t want Rebecca lose her child. (Afton embraces Cliff. Fade Out And End Of Act Four)

S13 -INT. MONAHAN CORPORATIVE LOANS OFFICE

(Establishing shot of the building. Cut to a shot of Bobby in his office, when the intercom beeps)

Bobby: Yes, Janine?
Janine (off): There´s a man called Rick who says he´s a friend of yours…
B.: Rick? Hmm…Send him in. You can go have lunch Janine.
Janine (off): Thank you Bobby. (The young man in a suit gets up and gets ready for a surprise, since he doesn´t remember any Rick. But one minute later, Rick gets in…and Bobby blushes up)
Rick: Hi, do you remember me?
B.: Of course, we met in San Francisco, didn´t we? (Bobby gets blank then)
R.: Oh I´m afraid you were too drunk to remember me. I cut my hair too and wore… more informal clothes.
B.: What´s brought you to town?
R.: I just felt like seeing you again, though I went to your other address, the Southfork Ranch.
B.: Who did you talk to?
R.: A rough man with white hair, a bit inquisitor, but co-operative at the end. He told me you were working here.
B. (blushed up again): That must have been Ray Krebbs. One of my uncles.
R.: So?
B.: So what?
R.: Shall we have a drink…or something? (Bobby smiles candidly)

S14 – INT. SHEPARD INDUSTRIES OFFICES

(First shot of Sue Ellen handing a big sum check to another woman)

S.E.: I hope you´ll be very happy with this.
Carrie: Oh sure. I wasn´t made for the ranch living, I guess I´m an urban girl.
S.E.: I´d better say an urban woman…(smiling sarcastically). With your signature on this document, I become the sole proprietor of the Ranch and Lands known as the Southern Cross, in San Angelo, Texas.
C.: You know, darlin´, I didn´t mean to make such a fuss about my divorce from Dusty and my contract with that Madeleine, honestly. Not to say to put my mother Barbara in trouble…
S.E.: Oh you don´t have to worry, “darlin´”, your mother knows for sure what kind of daughter you are: the lousy kind. You´re a little snake lier, and now, get out of here! (Carrie plays the offended lady and rushes out. Then she dials a number on her mobile) Hi, this is Sue Ellen Shepard. I have another assignment, with high priority: you must find Dusty Farlow at whatever price!

S15 – GAY BAR IN DALLAS AT NIGHT

(Atmosphere travelling up to Bobby and Rick)

Rick: You were the most charming man I had ever seen, and looked so amazed at the disco lights. I waved hello at you and you almost told me off. But I insisted.
Bobby: I know that we spent some days in a hotel suite in San Francisco…
R.: Yeah, it was very romantic. I wanted to pay for it but you took off your card and said “charge it!” with that wonderful smile of yours…
B.: Do you know that…when we met…I still was a minor.
R.: Uh-uh. I had the slight suspect you were due to my job, but you said something about your 18th birthday coming soon…Didn´t you?
B.: Yeah, it was true…
R. (holding his right hand): I´d love to spend the night with you, I´ll be leaving tomorrow to Waco, my new destination.
B. (his eyes shining): Well, I would´t mind to see your room…(The couple kiss and they leave the bar. Fade Out And End Of Act Five)

S16 -INT. SHEPARD INDUSTRIES OFFICES

(Establishing shot of the building)

S.E.: First of all, let me say that I feel honored for the nomination as the Dallas Woman Of The Year…
Lady: Well, there are other two candidates but we are positively impressed by your activities in the corporative business and the publishing of such a groundbreaking magazine as is “Woman Today”.
S.E.: Thank you very much for your kind words…Please tell me, what´s the reason for this interview?
L..: Well, our organization wants to project a fully positive image of the woman of Dallas so maybe there are things you should comment during your speech, in case you´re chosen.
S.E.: What…kind…of things?
L..: Well, for instance, your on/off alcoholism, your suicide attempt…
S.E.: My what!!?
L.: Oh you don´t have to be concerned my dear, you may become a role model for the women under depression, even the battered wives, given your history with J.R. Ewing…
S.E.: “Dear Lady”, would you be so kind to put your ass off my chair and get out of my offices…and never come back again…(The lady leaves slightly frightened, leaving behind a very angry Sue Ellen)
Shania: Is everything ok, Sue Ellen? (asking shyly)
S.E.: No, everything´s wrong and I´m gonna change that! (She takes her purse and leaves.)

S17 – RICK´S HOTEL IN DALLAS

(Rick lets Bobby go inside first as he switches the light on. Then he puts some music on the cd player and begins to take his clothes off. The song “Sexy Boy” by The Kinky Boyz begins to play: )

“Sexy Boy, Sexy Boy
Sexy Boy, Sexy Boy
Ou sont tes heros aux corps d'athletes
Ou sont tes idoles mal rasees, bien habillees”

(BOBBY turns to him and feels embarrassed, but RICK continues and takes his jeans off.)

B.(sitting on the bed): A nice place for a weekend. Isn´t it?
R. (sitting by him): Yeah. I have to tell you something boy.
B. (blushing up again): OK.
R.: Up in San Francisco, those days, I think I fell in love with you…I´ve been thinking about you so often. And you didn´t even give me your mobile number…
B.: It had just wrecked down. I mean it…Well, there was a reason…
R.: Oh yeah...?
B.: I wanted to surprise my boyfriend that night but, when I came up to his room, I found him with a naked hunk, and I ran out. Next stop was that disco, I guess. And I saw you, I do remember that, and then I ordered my first drink, and then another, and then…we were talking very closely.
R. (suddenly silent) …Does that mean that you got revenge with me on your boyfriend?
B.: I guessed so, but I swear you I was amazed that someone like you could notice someone like me…
R. (caressing his cheek): Only someone like you, could make me come to Dallas and hope I could see you again. Only someone like you…Do you really love him…?
B.: I´m living with him now, he´s my friend and my partner, the most special person I ever met.
R.: Well boy, you can stay here if you wanna sleep…(he gets up and goes to the bathroom)
B.: I´d better go now. Thank you for your honesty…by the way…you said you had a job in Waco. (The shower runs off)
R.: Right!!!
B.: I´m a business man. What are you?
R.: I´m a cop…(Bobby looks at the bathroom door twice, and then leaves the place)

"Ou sont tes heros aux corps d'athletes
Ou sont tes idoles mal rasees, bien habillees
Sexy Boy, Sexy Boy
Dans leurs yeux des dollars
Dans leurs sourires des diamants
Moi aussi un jour je serai beau comme un dieu
Sexy Boy, Sexy Boy
Sexy Boy, Sexy Boy”

S18 – FAIRVIEW HOTEL, CENTRAL PARK, NEW YORK CITY

(Ray, Gary and Donna walk down the corridor of the hotel.)

R.: Are you sure she said at 5 o´clock?
D.: No, she said: at 5 o´clock, sharp!
G.: This sounds like a funny lady, not the Madeleine type.
D.: The FBI has already released her because only the full name matched and the lady had no record at all.
R.(stopping by one of the rooms): It´s here, nº 2185… (he knocks on the door)
Latin Maid: Yes?
R.: We have an appointment with Mrs. Farlow…
L.M.: Lo siento, no comprendo…
D.: “Tenemos una cita con la Señora Farlow.”

M.(off): Send in the visitors, my dear!! (Ray, Donna and Gary step into the room and someone welcomes him: it´s a seventy-something English woman with white hair: the “real” Madeleine Farlow. Fade Out And End Of Act Six)

S19 -FAIRVIEW HOTEL, NEW YORK CITY

Madeleine: May I offer you some tea? I was going to have my 5 o´clock cup…(Both men refuse kindly but Donna accepts)
Donna: We were told by the Police that you knew our situation…
M.: Oh yes, and I am so terribly sorry! Poor me, I couldn´t steal anything to anybody, much less a whole Texan property.
Ray: Did you ever meet a man called Clayton Farlow?
M.: No never. I´d have remembered that.
Gary: And I guess you never met any other Madeleine Farlow either?
M.: Let me remember…I had a brother older than myself, who owned a small hotel in that city in Switzerland…What´s its name?
Donna: Berna?
M.: You clever girl! Yes! We never got along very well but, one day, he wrote a letter to me saying that he was getting married, and his bride´s name was…(Ray, Donna and Gary look at each other) Oh I don´t remember, but I´m sure I can find the letter, the last one I got until his death…
D.: Do you know how he died?
M.: Well, they never knew for sure, but I suppose it was due to his kidney, he always was a heavy drinker, hehehe…I wish I could have helped you…
D.: You have, dear Madeleine, you don´t know how much you have!! (Donna, Ray and Gary look at each other again)

S20 – RESTAURANT LES SAISONS IN DALLAS

(John Ross is about to order and a certain woman sits down with him)
Andrea: Hello, Mr. Ewing. Do you remember me?
John Ross: How could not! I don´t have the chance to save beautiful women´s lives everyday…
A.: You´re so kind, Mr. Ewing…
J.R.: Please call me John Ross…
A.: John Ross, I had an appointment for lunch but I think he won´t come so I would like to invite you for thanking you your heroic gesture…
J.R. (staring at her): Are you a business woman? What a dumb question, what else did you look like the other day...
A.: Yes, I am the new CEO of Wentworth Industries. We just merged two companies, one of them my father´s and the other one, as I believe, your aunt Pamela´s company. She was rather obsessive about keeping the Wentworth name…
J.R.: That´s so Pamela…
A.: Don´t you like her?
J.R.: Oh of course I do, I just…am too involved in my own business to have a complete family life. In fact, I was raised for that…
A.: Really? Me too. My daddy wanted me to follow his steps and taught me every little dirty trick he knew, even those a woman shouldn´t know…He used to say: “Get your friends closer but get your enemies still closer”…
J.R. (cleaning his mouth with the napkin as he laughs): Oh that´s so familiar to me. I´m just hearing my daddy saying that…
A..: Do you work with him?
J.R.: No, he´s dead.
A.: Please accept my condolences.
J.R.: No, it´s ok. He´s been dead for the last 14 years so I think he won´t care any more…(both laugh out loud. The maitre arrives and the couple begins to order, listening to each other´s requests)

S21 – FORT WORTH HOTEL

(Mandy Winger jumps over an older man and they begin to make love over the carpet)

Mandy: Oh my love…Did you miss me?
Warden: I thought I´d never see ya again, my babe…
M.: Will you do that favour to me…please?
W.: Ya mean, whatcha liked before?
M.: No, not that. The man called Dusty Farlow. He´s got be out of your prison…
W.: It´s something complicated, I´ll gotta move a lot of strings…
M.: Don´t think about it now. Just think about us and that wonderful day we spent in Honolulu…
W.: Ohhhhh….Ho-no-lu-luuuu….(Mandy smiles as she kisses the old man)

S22 – SOMEPLACE IN THE SUBURBAN DALLAS

FB 2: (A hurt Gary tries to talk to his kidnappers)

Gary: So…you are making me this in order to give your father a pre-death present?
Kevin: So to say. Richard Channing, my stepfather, had a lot of ups and downs in his life, but since last year he was diagnosed a sort of cancer, we want him to end up on high note, so to say…
G.: What makes you think that I will give him the ownership of my natural gas company?
Michael: Your children: you have three beautiful children, one of them a grownup woman already. And you also have a wife who has gone thru several crises in her life. It would be easy to push her in the right direction…
G.: Do you feel proud of what you´re doin´ boys?
K.: We have to, because of our father. We already lost our mothers in the most tragic consequences…
M.: No more family talk!! We want you to call your lawyer and specify exactly what we want to have in written: the ownership of the Natural Gas now belonging to Westfork Companies.
G.: OK, tie me down and I will call my lawyer, the mobile is in my pocket…(Richard punches his stomach all of sudden)
M.: Do you think we are stupid? You left your mobile on the road, when we forced you into the car…
K.: Sign now, or die…
G.: OK, I´ll sign…but let me tell ya something. One day soon, you both will be stabbing each other´s back to get the control of that company. I tell ya that. I just don´t care any more… (Fade Out to real time. Gary is near the Galveston house, and, after awhile, he gets into his car and drives away…Fade Out And End Of Act Seven)

S23 – THE FORMER SOUTHFORK RANCH (AS SEEN ON “DALLAS”)

(A blue Mercedes drives through the SF entrance and towards the white small house. A woman gets off the car and walks into the house)

Andrea: Hello darlin´…It´s been a helluva day. Will you put me a bourbon?
John Ross: Of course, honey. Want some rocks?
A.; No, it´s perfect like that. (She quickly kisses him)
J.R.: So, have you ruined any oil baron today?
A.: A few, but don´t let your little head worry about that…
J.R.(angry, he pours a vodka to himself and begins to drink): Oh Andrea…
A.: Yes darlin´…
J.R.: Why don´t we take the night out before the family comes down?
A.: Babe, it´s MY family. You know what my daddy always says, about dining at 6 o´clock…
J.R.: Of course, Andrea. It doesn´t matter actually… (He begins to drink himself into oblivion. Suddenly, we see that it is a sequence dream that John Ross is dreaming the night after he had dinner with Andrea. He looks flabbergasted.)

S24 – SUE ELLEN´S MANOR IN TURTLE CREEK, DALLAS

S.E.: I´m so glad to have spent the evening with you instead of attending that silly “Woman Of The Year” Party!
Cally: What if you win the award, Sue Ellen?
S.E.: Well, I guess that chances are…
James: Well boys, time to go to bed!
Ellie: All right. Good night Mama (kissing Cally), good night Aunt Sue Ellen (kissing S.E. and walking upstairs)
S.E.: Good night my love and have sweet dreams…
J: Come on Jimmy. This is the last time I tell ya!
Ji: I´m older than Ellie, and I should stay longer up too. What´s more, she´s not my sister, but Cally´s daughter with Uncle JR!! (Cally looks at Sue Ellen, who looks a James, and James looks up, noticing Ellie has been hearing everything. Then Cally gets up)
Cally: I told you it wasn´t a good idea to tell Jimmy about Haleyville and you did it anyway, now MY daughter will have to carry the consequences…(She goes upstairs in a rush)
J.: Go get a glass of milk and go to your room, right away!!
S.E.: This had to happen someday…but why did it happen the worst possible way?
J.: What am I to do, Sue Ellen? Cally and I were having some problems lately since she learnt that we sold out the property that J.R. left to us in his will.
S.E.: I´m afraid, James, that I´m not the right person to give good advices…My own son moved into another place while I was in hospital. How would you call that?
J.: Nothin´good (kissing her cheek).

S25 – MANDY WINGER´S APARTMENT IN DALLAS

Mandy: I´m coming!! (She is wearing a night gown and, after looking thru the hole, she smiles) I´m so glad you came!
Dusty: I wouldn´t be so sure of that…
M.: What´s goin´on Dusty? You´re out. Ain´t that what ya wanted?
D.: Yeah. But not your way. Not your disgusting, immoral ways. (She looks cocky and proud)
M.: But you´re out and that´s what you wanted.
D.: Not like that, Mandy, can´t ya understand? Besides, your Warden didn´t let me go…
M.: Oh…didn´t he?
D.: Somebody else paid my debts and acquired the Southern Cross back under my name.
M.: That must be somebody who really loves you…
D.: I hope you are right, this time…And now, keep away from me, or your old enemies will know that you´re back in town!
M.: You mean Sue Ellen?
D.: Yeah, that´s one. But you got many more enemies: a lot of wives thirst of revenge who wouldn´t stop at anything for kickin´ya out of town…(Dusty turns and leaves)
M.: You´ll be hearing from me again, Dusty. Can you hear me? You´ll be hearing from me again!

S26 – SHANIA MONTAGE: INT. – SHEPARD INDUSTRIES / DALLAS BANK

(Shania is copying all the secret files that Sue Ellen keeps in her computer, including the passwords for her accounts, and then we see her leaving the briefcase inside a safe box, in one of the Dallas Banks…Freeze frame of Shania smiling mysteriously)

BORDERLINE (Part 1)

(The song “Undercover” by Pete Yorn begins to play as the credits roll by.)

“Say the talk and I won't mind
There's a cause you know I'll never try
And I love you like the one I used to know
And if you never had the time
That's an ordinary problem
And I said I'd lie to have a place to go
And you held and then you tried
I could never find another
If you walk me to the car park
I won't go
To my left I saw the time
Flash and fall it seemed to swallow you
I could love you like the sister
I never had
Drawing circles in your concrete
I will know your every move
And I'll send you
I'll send you
And you held and then you tried
I could never find another
If you walk me to the car park
I won't go
And we held and then we tried
There was hardly lust between us
I will love you
I won't let go
'Cos we are one inside these walls
Undercover
We are one inside these walls
Undercover
We are one inside these walls
Undercover
We are one and
We are one
We are one
And you held and then you tried
I could never find another
If you walk me to the car park
I won't go
And we held and we tried
There was hardly lust between us
I will love you
I won't let go
We are one (undercover)
We are one (undercover)
We are one (undercover)
We are one”

Episode 22:
BORDERLINE (PART 1)

SC.1 – EXT. DALLAS-FORT WORTH AIRPORT

(SUE ELLEN walks with SHANIA, who is carrying a travel bag)

S.E.: I hope you enjoy the Virgin Islands, it´s a perfect place for heavenly holidays…
Shania: I still don´t know if I should go right now, Sue Ellen…
S.E.: Oh come on, dear, we all need a break and now it´s your time. You chose your substitute by yourself, I´m sure he will handle everything for a couple of weeks…
S: You didn´t mind I chose a man instead of a woman, did you? I know what you think of employing preferably women in your companies…
S.E.: It will good to have a man around, for a change, you know…he looks like a smart guy.(Hearing the airport information service) Oh that´s your flight, isn´t it? Shania: Well dear, thank you so much for this trip, and call me if you need anything… (she kisses Sue Ellen´s cheek)
S: Oh don´t be silly, absolutely not. Have a nice flight (she waves goodbye at her and turns around. Then Sue Ellen walks faster and gets out of the airport building. The camera pans back to Shania, who takes her cell phone and dials her mother´s number) Mother? It´s me. (Cut to Mandy´s first shot)
Mandy: Hi sweetheart, is anything wrong?
S: No, absolutely not. I just took a few days off on a holiday trip and wanted to make sure that I had no surprises when I´m back.
M: What do you mean Shania?
S: I know you have in mind that we´re running out of time and should reveal that I am J.R. Ewing´s heiress too.
M: Aren´t we?
S: First of all, I AM the one who´s J.R.´s daughter and timing is very important in all this. So please promise me that you won´t tell a thing about it until I´m back, until the Oil Barons´ Ball week.
M: That´s fine for me, Shania darling. The Ball would be a perfect place to get Sue Ellen embarrassed again and show the world what his husband was doing with me when she was still married to him.
S: Ok then. Hope you will be fine.
M: I´m always fine, sweetie. (Mandy hangs up as she arises one eyebrow. Meanwhile, at the airport, Sue Ellen is hearing a message and then a bleep)
SE: Hello Pamela. I hope you´re both are fine. I must talk to you, it´s sort of…important. I know you should be here by the Oil Barons´ Ball week, but I just need to talk to you. Please call me. Hugs to Bobby.(She hungs up and makes another call). Hi I´m Sue Ellen Shepard. I have an appointment with Dr. Chow. Would you please tell her I will be ten minutes late? Thank you).

SC.2 – INT. BILOXI SACRED HEART HOSPITAL

(Establishing shot of the hospital. First shot of a baby, who turns out to be REBECCA´s one-day-old son. The camera pans away and we see CLIFF, AFTON, ARLISS and BECKIE holding the baby)

Afton: Isn´t he beautiful, Cliff?
Cliff: Oh sure, but overall he´s soo healthy…
Arliss: Doesn´t he look a little like Mitch, honey? (The four of them look more deeply into his face, a bit surprised)
Beckie: If he does, it´s a family resemblance, with no doubt!
Afton: Are you feeling alright, sweetheart?
B: I had a hard first night but last night, I could sleep at least nine hours. I feel great, well not great. I´m still weak but every time I see my baby I just want to get stronger to be able to go home…
Ar: Will you stay in Biloxi for some time?
Af (looking at Cliff): No, we will leave in a couple of days. Cliff wants to flaunt around his grandson!
C: I will take a flight later, I forgot to tell you…
Af: Oh come on Cliff, you have to come with us…
C: There´s some important stuff that must be done and I can´t delegate, sorry Afton. Now please let me some time alone with my darling, my very first darling… (Cliff smiles at Beckie. Afton holds her mother´s shoulder and they both exit the room as they call a nurse to take the baby. Finally they are alone)
B: What is it, dad?
C: So you know it´s a big deal already?
B: We both know what it is.
C: I´ll go to the point now Rebecca. I have to know one thing. Please give it a thought and tell me: Is it really over between you and that boy? You know I just want the best for you…
B: Yes it is. I don´t need to think about it. I had a big disappointment with him and don´t wanna see him again. I just need my baby and my family, and a good nice job. That´s all.
C: Are you sure? (Cliff gasps)
B: Yes.
C: So, when you´re back to Dallas, we will meet a specialist called Quentin Carpenter, he is an expert in neurofibromatosis and will follow the baby´s condition thoroughly during his first year. I´m sure everything´s gonna be fine Rebecca. And I want your Mama to be very very happy with me too. (Beckie holds his father. First shot of Cliff´s face)

SC.3 – EXT. SOUTHFORK LANDS, SMALL STABLE

(RAY is riding his horse through the Southfork lands and, suddenly, he sees someone at one of the West Wing stables: it´s a teenager. He calls him up and rides closer. The boy is LUCAS)

Ray: Hey you boy! Are you a new hand here?
Lucas: Er…No sir.
R: You know this is a private property right?
L: Sure. I work for…Mr. Callaway (he looks at the side of the Callaway ranch)
R: Oh sorry for being so rude. People get inside the property once in awhile, especially little groups of teenagers. I´m Ray Krebbs, co-owner of the Southfork Ranch (he holds Lucas´s hand).
L (surprised): Aha. My name is…Joel.
R (nodding): Nice to meet ya boy.
L: It´s my time off and I just took a walk, sorry for intruding…
R: No worry. Send my regards to the Callaways, they´re nice people. They bought the ranch in the 70´s and took a real good care of it. I wish they stay around…Many people are selling off their lands…
L: Weren´t they the original owners?
R (twinking and looking a little suspicious): No. The Wades did (his face turns somber).
L: Why did they sell out?
R: Shouldn´t ye go back to work now Joel? That´s not your business…
L: Sorry, I didn´t want to gossip around…
R: It´s ok Joel. (He rides away sadly as Lucas watches him leave) (The song “Dreamer” by Toni Childs begins to play)
L: Oh yeah, it IS my business. Whose damned business would it be?!

"Can’t stop, stop the hurting
Can’t stop, stop the breathing
Can’t stop, stop these tears for you my dear
Don’t know why it’s so bad
This life’s been so bad
I’m glad I finally found you here.
You’re the voice of a dream I had
You’re the voice and I’m so glad
You’re the weight of a dream of a life come true
There’s no denying
I sometimes run and chase the moon
I just can
I sometimes run and chase the views
And dream of you"

(FADE OUT AND END OF ACT ONE)

SC.4 – DALLAS DOWNTOWN

(Establishing shot of the center of Dallas, and zoom into one of the windows of a medium tall building. It´s the practice of Dr. CHOW, CLIFF´s former secretary and now psycho-therapist. First shot of SUE ELLEN)

S.E: I´m glad my friend gave me your telephone number before she left, Dr. Chow. Pamela´s my best friend and she´s been away so long…I miss her.
C: Go on.
S.E: I have so many things on my mind now…I´m a little lost. I thought that here, doing therapy again, would change things…
C: Do you mean I´m not helping Sue Ellen?
S.E: Oh no, of course not. Sorry if I sounded like that. But it´s getting harder and harder to keep the things going…after…you know, after the accident.
C: Your suicide attempt?
S.E: I did NOT. Probably, I´m definitely sure about that. I know that there are evidences that I was drinking again that night and also, the sleeping pill intoxication. But as far as I admit that I used to be a very dependent person, I know that there was something else going on that explained the whole “accident”.
C: All right. Please go on.
SE: I wish…I could talk to someone else about these things, as I used to. With Pam, for example. I want to make my own decisions about my work, my family: the problem with John Ross, who seems to have run away from me. The friend I helped financially lately, you know, the one who was…in a relationship with me years ago. And that woman from my office. It´s a strange feeling, but I have the impression that she´d hiding things from me…
C: We all do. That doesn´t mean she is not a reliable person. She must be marking a line between private and public.
SE: Yes, I do understand that. And public attention is another thing that is making me angry now. I get it in a more agressive way…
C: Do you mean that being a public person was easier for you, let´s say, thirty years ago?
SE: No. Oh no...(smiling to herself)
C: So?
SE: Probably, I am much more sensitive about everything now. That´s what makes the difference. (The doctor nods) What about my friend?
C: What do you want from him? Friendship or a love affair?
SE: I want…something in between. But I want to keep him as a friend, above all things.
C: Do you want to have sex with him? (Sue Ellen looks a bit blushed up)
SE: I…I don´t know.
C: The way I see it, you have been taking chances on everything for some years, and you seem to rely on what is more secure to you. Making choices doesn´t get easier through time, Sue Ellen, but you can´t expect from anyone else to what you have to do…(The patient wide opens her eyes)

SC.4 – INT. WESTFORK INDUSTRIES BUILDING, DALLAS

(Gary is working on his computer. The intercom bleeps and her secretary talks)

Janine (off-screen): Gary, you have a visit here…
Gary (absent-minded): Oh who is it?
Woman (opening the door): It´s me.
G (smiling a big smile): Olivia, what a nice surprise! (He gets up and walks to her. They kiss and then she holds him)
Olivia: I have been missing you so much, Gary.
G: Take a seat. (Pointing at a couch)
O: Thank you.
G: How come you are in Dallas?
O: I got an email from your son, we´ve been keeping in touch, you know, and I thought it was a good time to see my ex-daddy.
G: So you know that Valene and I are living apart?
O: Yes.
G: Let´s have lunch sweetheart. It´s not something easy to talk about.
O: Ok. (They walk towards the door)
G: By the way, how are your brother and mother?
O: Great. Mother is her usual: absolutely fabulous...

SC.5 – EXT. CALLAWAY PROPERTY, BRADDOCK

(Afternoon. Lucas walks towards a gravestone. There are two names on it. One says “Lucas Wade. Beloved husband and father.” The other one: “Jenna Wade. Your family will never forget you.” Each gravestone has two dates for every person. Lucas puts on his knees and begins to cry silently. Cut to Flashback Scene)

SC.6- FLASHBACK SCENE, SWISS HOUSE

(Shot of a five-year-old Lucas Wade alone in his bedroom, as he listens to his parents Ray and Jenna argue loudly)

J.: Ray, where are you supposedly goin´?
R.: Bob has the rights to see…Lucas is a Ewing…
J.: You won´t steal Bobby´s child, oh no, hell…
R.: Try to stop me. (Ray gets into the bedroom) Let´s go Lucas.(Jenna tries to take the child away from him but she can´t. Ray takes the baby and they both leave the house, as we hear a thunder. Cut to the current time: Lucas looks at the sky, as if it would be starting to rain… (FADE OUT AND END OF ACT TWO)

SC.6 – LIVING-ROOM, SOUTHFORK RANCH

(General shot of RAY, DONNA, MAGGIE, GARY and OLIVIA chatting)

O: So Bobby and Pam are having their first honeymoon trip after all these years?
Donna: Yes, they were very happy about it, though they had had a lot of stress over them recently.
O: I read about Christopher´s death, I am really sorry about it…(Ray, Donna and Maggie look at Gary)
G: It´s been hard for all of us since we lost the Southfork property.
O: But you got it back didn´t you?
Ray: The problem, Olivia, is that the person responsible for that was also responsible for Clayton Farlow´s death.
G: Clayton was my mother´s second husband, Olivia.
O: Oh that´s awful…Is she in jail?
Donna: Sadly, she vanished when we got proofs of that, dear.
R: Where are you living now Olivia?
O: I live in San Francisco, I own an antique shop there.
D: There must be great to work on that stuff every day, my first husband used to collect antique works…
O: Oh really? (Ray and Gary go to the bar)
R: Have you seen Val lately?
G: No, actually not. I´m not sure how to do it, but I know it´s time to face her and talk our differences out.
R: Maybe Olivia could help you with that…She was friends with Val, wasn´t she?
G: Yeah, they were close friends since the day they came into Knots Landing…
R: She looks like a smart, pretty lady. Asking for help is not always easy but the Ewings stick together when something goes wrong, and that´s not different with you, brother…
G: Thank you Ray. I appreciate that. (They click their glasses)

SC.7 – SUE ELLEN´S MANOR, DALLAS

(Evening. Establishing shot of the house. CALLY walks into her daughter ELLIE´s bedroom)

Cally: May I come in baby?
Ellie (distant): Yes. (The girl is sitting at her laptop, and closes it down)
C: I want to talk with you Ellie.
E (turning around): I wish you had done it long before.
C (looking sad): I know that. But I want to be totally honest with you. Will you let me explain to me the whole truth?
E: Are you going to tell me how you met my father…J.R. Ewing?
C: If you let me…
E: All right. (Cally holds her daughter´s hands and smiles. FADE OUT AND END OF ACT THREE)

SC.8 – CLARIDGE HOTEL, LONDON

(Establishing shot of the hotel and zoom into one of the rooms. Travelling into a couple, who turns out to be BARBARA and JULIAN, dressed in formal clothes)

Barbara: I thought you were enjoying the cocktail, Julian.
Julian: And I was. But I had better things in mind (kissing her neck).
B: I wonder what it can be…Remember we have a very important mission to do here in London.
J: It´s almost over love. Soon we will able to go back to Dallas…
B: Is that what you want Julian? I mean, what you really want?
J (serious): Of course, why shouldn´t I?
B: Well, we have been living in Europe for several months and our life has been quiet, much more than before…After that whirlwind happened in Southfork...
J: That was a true masquerade, I remember how hot you looked on that costume…
B: We have a family there, Bobby and Pam, Ray and Donna, Lucy, Gary and Val…That´s my family and I don’t wanna be so far away from them…but, I would understand if you preferred…a European way of life.
J: You won´t get rid of me just like that…(they kiss passionately).
B: Well, I´ll have to pack up. I must take a flight to Dallas although I´d rather have you with me…
J: I´ll let you something to remember…(Travelling out of scene. Fade out to next scene. Barbara is packing up and suddenly she stops…she seems to have heard something. But goes on and finishes her task).

SC.9 – SUE ELLEN´S GYM, SHEPARD OFFICES BUILDING

(Establishing shot of the building. Travelling of the working-room. JOHN ROSS gets into the place.)

John Ross (says hello to a couple of persons): Hello, how are you? (someone turns around: it´s Andrea, who walks towards him) Andrea: Hi John Ross. I´m glad to see you again.
JR: Me too.
A: Do you come here often?
JR: In fact, this gym belong to my mother. I come here since I became independent…
A: Oh, I´ve been coming here for a couple of months only…I´d better go jogging when I live in a proper place.JR: How´s everything since last time?
A: Great! I loved our dinner. Would you like to repeat it, this time in my house?
JR: I have a family reunion today, and I can´t miss it. Maybe next week…
A: (smiling a big smile) Ok. Care yourself, John Ross. And don´t overwork…
JR: I won´t, don´t worry…(J.R. smiles back and begins to raise weighs)

SC.10 – LONDON BRIDGE BY THAMES

(Establishing shot of the bridge and zoom into one of the corners. Travelling into a couple, who turns out to be MADELEINE and her former driver, dressed in informal clothes)

Madeleine: We´re close, we´re real close. I won´t let anything to spoil it!
Gene: It´s a done deal, at least for me. Everything is ready to get rid of him!
M.: I´m paying you a fortune for it, don´t disappoint me: they are two cads and, if you´ll have to kill both of them, if things go wrong. Anyway she will be taking a plane this afternoon…and she´ll never see him again.
G.: (taking a picture out of his pocket) A young man and an older woman, they sort of make a nice couple…
M.: Don´t joke with serious subjects, Gene. There´s a lot at stake here. You will be a rich man soon and all depends on you…killing Julian.
G.: Trust me, your friend is a dead man already…(They keep on walking. FADE OUT AND END OF ACT FOUR)

SC.11 - SOUTHFORK DINNER

(Establishing shot of the attendants: Gary, Olivia, Ray, Donna, John Ross, Cally, James and the children, Ellie and Jimmy)

Olivia: I love the new decoration, Donna, it looks fabulous! Donna: Thank you Olivia. It´s not all my merit, Val has helped me too (looking at Gary, who looks down). She had a great time doing it.
O: Why isn´t she here?
D: She had a headache and didn´t want to travel from Galveston (looking seriously at Gary).
G: We can visit her tomorrow, she´ll love seeing you again, Olivia.
Jimmy: What do you prefer, California or Dallas, Olivia?
O: Well, that´s a funny question. I don´t mind living at the East or West, as well as there´s a beach near. I love swimming.
Ji: So do I!
C: Aren´t you hungry dear? (to Ellie)
Ellie: No, may I get up?
C: Wait until we´re all finished sweetie.
E: Ok. (Sad)
JR: What about that planned hunting we talked about, James?
J: (looking at Cally) I´m not sure it´s a good idea…
JR: Come on, we don´t have to go to Haleyville, there´s plenty of places to hunt. Jimmy will love the experience and learn to shoot well…
Ji: I already shoot well!
C: No you don´t and you´re too young by now.
Ji: You don´t know anything about it. And you´re not my mother either!!
J: Jimmy! Be respectful to Cally and apologize! (Ray and Donna look at each other)
Ji: I´m sorry Cally. May I get up now?
C: Ok, get up boys. You too darling…(holding Ellie´s hand. They get out of the room and out to the terrace) Ellie is having a bad time since she found out that JR was his daddy…
D: I guess she had to know some day, hadn´t she?
R: Ellie is a sensitive girl, I´m sure that she will soon assume what that implies…
C: You mean what being J.R.´s daughter implies…? (James holds her hand)
She is James´s and my daughter, no matter where she came from…

SC.12 – BRADDOCK ROAD

(The next day, Cliff returns to his house. On his way there, he stops his limo near the Callaways, just by Lucas´ footsteps.)

Cliff: Hey boy! Are you the Callaways´ new assistant?
Lucas: Yep, I guess so. I clean up the pool. Among other things.
C: Get on the car boy!
L: What´s the problem?
C: Nothing. I´m your neighbor. I just want to talk to you about a couple of things…(Lucas eventually gets on the limo and Cliff closes the door. Cut into next scene. Establishing shot of the Campbell Center, where is Cliff´s office. Lucas is sitting face to face with Cliff) I´ll go to the point boy. I know you are not Joel…Lucas.
L: What the hell! Let me get out of here!
C: You are Lucas Wade, aren´t you? And your mother used to be the owner of the ranch you´re working at now.
L: Why do you care?
C: Let me be honest: I don´t care. But I do care about my daughter Rebecca. And I want you out of her life forever. She is out on a holiday. I´m just trying to protect them now…if I can. I´m trying to maintain some kind of privacy for my family. And there´s someone who isn´t included here: you.

SC.13 – CLARIDGE HOTEL, LONDON, BARBARA AND JULIAN´S ROOM

(Slow zoom into the room. No sign of Barbara´s baggage and the bed is made up. The camera turns into the right towards the shower-room. Julian is having a shower. Suddenly we see an arm with a glove, opening the door and entering the place. Suddenly, we hear two silenced shots through the curtain. The song “Dreamer” is played all over again)

End of Episode 22

"Can’t stop, stop the hurting
Can’t stop, stop the breathing
Can’t stop, stop these tears for you my dear
Don’t know why it’s so bad
This life’s been so bad
I’m glad I finally found you here.
You’re the voice of a dream I had
You’re the voice and I’m so glad
You’re the weight of a dream of a life come true
There’s no denying
I sometimes run and chase the moon
I just can
I sometimes run and chase the views
And dream of you.
My heart locked in absence
My heart locked and fearful
I see no-one can be here today
My thoughts locked in thinking
My thoughts not believing
I see no-one can be here with me.
You’re the light of a dream I had
You’re the voice and I’m so glad
You’re the weight of a dream of a life come true
There’s no denying
I sometimes run and chase the moon
And think of you
I sometimes run and chase the views
And not of you
I sometimes run and chase the moon
But I’m just dreaming
I sometimes run and chase the views
But I’m still dreaming
Dreaming
I’m dreaming
I’m dreaming of you, dear..."

Episode 23:
BORDERLINE
(Part 2)

SC.1 – INT: CLARIDGE HOTEL, LONDON

(The shooter Gene locks down the water and looks at the eyes of the victim. Then, his cell phone rings and he answers:

“Hi, it´s me. The work is done. Clean and neat.”
Madeleine: You´ll get your check tomorrow darling, though I wont´be in London any more…Gene: Julian is dead, I killed him in the shower.
M: Hope there is no clues, cause none of them should point at me, under any circumstance. Oh, I get another call on the other line, excuse me . Hello darlin´!” . she begins…

SC.2 – EXT: CALLAWAY RANCH ENTRANCE, EVENING

(Lucas drives his second hand bike off to the Callaway Ranch. Molly walks away and welcomes him in a very strange way: She looks at his eyes and he, for first time, begins to feel heartbroken.)

Lucas: I just came to pick up my things…
Molly: When were you gonna tell me that Joel is not your real name, but Lucas instead. (He rises his eyebrows) Mr. Barnes came around this morning…I can´t help but firing you my dear…
Lucas: Doesn´t it really never mean anything for you all this long…?
Molly: Leave with two weeks notice and one big advice: don´t test my husband´s patience, nor mine too.

SC.3 – EXT: CALLAWAY LANDS, EVENING

(Lucas agrees and walks to the next fence, to have a private talk by phone)

Lucas: Things went wrong here lil´sister, but we still have plan B. I need you to come back to Dallas, my dear Charlie…(The song “Out Of My Hands” begins to play as he returns to the ranch and packs his baggage up)

"Out on my window ledge
I don't feel safe
And I stay
Looking down on you
It's out of my hands for now
It's out of my hands for now
I can't just walk away
Be nice to walk away
But I don't feel safe
Get away, all the way up here
Its out of my hands for now
Its out of my hands for now
Oh it is
Down in from here
And down from here
Start to feel insane
Betrayed
Out on my window ledge
Now our finest hour arrives
See the pig dressed in his finest fine
And all that believe stand behind him and smile
As the day lights up with fire
Let me in
Let me in
I start to feel like I'm crazed
Betrayed
Out on my window ledge
Now our finest hour arrives
See the pig dressed in his finest fine
And all the believers stand behind him and smile
Watch the day's lights up with fire
Looking down from here
It's outta my hands for now
Out on my window ledge
It's outta my hands for now
So let me in
Let me in

(Fade out and End of Act One)

SC.4 – INT: JOHN ROSS´S CONDO IN DALLAS, AT NIGHT

(JOHN ROSS serves OLIVIA a drink, both comfortably sit on the sofa. He gently takes the glass and gives it to her)

JOHN ROSS: So you are from California, daughter of a career-oriented mother, like mine…Was it hard to you growing up?
OLIVIA: It´s funny you ask me that, because no one but Gary has ever dared to mention that time to me. My mother and I didn´t… (they look at each other and smile, speaking at the same time) “didn´t get along…”
J.R.: Do you know that my father met your mother and had a couple of meetings, just for business, of course…
O: For my mum, business and pleasure used to come in one neat package…
J.R.: Am I embarrasing you, honey?
O: Oh, not at all. I was thinking that tomorrow I must accompany Gary to Galveston and try my best to make them reconcile…They´re made for each other in many senses.
J.R.: What about you? What are you looking for?
O: You mean personally? I´d rather wind up becoming a spinster than married to the wrong man.
J.R.: What do you like in a man?
O: Honesty, above anything else. Tenderness. His help if I´m down…Well, I´m a rehab coke addict and Gary is my sponsor.
J.R.: Who could´ve said that Gary would become the strongest brother at the end…
O: What about? What do you want in a woman?
J.R: Beauty and with her own personality like you, but not someone from Texas, I love contrasts, and also brunettes who looked as if they just came out of a plane from California (giving a glass of champagne to her)…
O: John Ross, you´re an expert seducer just like your dad was, or so they said. But confess me something: tell me you don´t want a superficial affair…
J.R.: I don´t. I want to have a especially profound relationship with a special woman like you (the couple kiss and switch off the lights).

SC.5 – INT: SUE ELLEN´S OFFICE AT DALLAS DOWNTOWN

(Dressed to kill and surprisingly beautiful for the occasion, SUE ELLEN wears a not too serious executive suit and gets ready to offer Dusty a comfortable seat. Dusty walks out of the elevator also dressed in a suit, without his usual cowboy hat, and Sue Ellen welcomes him.)

S.E.: I´m alone, there´s nobody else (Dusty smiles openly) Will you please come with me to my office Dusty?
Dusty: It´s sort of odd, Sue Ellen. Why did you want me to come when everyone else is gone?
S.E.: Is it a problem or concern?
D: Not at all.
S.E: I just wanted to catch up with you after our last, unfortunate meetings.
D: Now I´m able to tell you that I could save the Southern Cross by myself, thanks to the Jessica Montford´s overseas investments. I found it out through lawyer Bennett´s son. I sold out my stock of a lot of multimillionaire companies…
SE: Well, this deserves a toast…with my best champagne.
D: As you know, I returned the money you invested in the Cross and my bail…The bail that Carrie didn´t want to pay for me…Why did you Sue Ellen?
SE (Smiling sweetly but strangely) Maybe for old times´ sake. For that time someone bailed me out mysteriously for half million dollars… (Sue Ellen gets up and closes the curtains, hinting that the building is empty, and invites him to sit with her on her big sofa…)

SC.6 – INT: CLARIDGE HOTEL, LONDON, MADELEINE´S SUITE

(Madeleine is preparing a cocktail, her favorite one, and also favorite of the person she´s waiting for. Suddenly, the hotel operator calls to say there´s a long-distance call for her from an American General, as she could understand.)

Madeleine: Especially, don´t forget you´re American, bastard…Oh yes, I do accept the call please. Oh George love...why is you´re not here yet? I´m missing you so much…What, you can´t leave the country because of the political situation? Yes, I know the variance for that highway was canceled but we still have our resources. What are you trying to say, George darling? That I should stay in cognito for a couple of years? I have plans, extraordinary plans, I´ve almost accomplished my revenge and I only need the visa to go back to US…But you told me…To be honest, darling, I didn´t expect such a lousy behavior from you…Go to hell! (She hangs up. Fade out and End of Act Two)

SC.7 – INT: AD COMPANY IN DALLAS

(John Ross comes out of the corporative bathroom and hears some workmates criticize him)

Man #1: His irresponsible behavior is only allowed because he is the son of the late tycoon J.R. Ewing...
Man #2: Half week he is out, wasting his time flirting with the secretaries and fully ignoring his accounts. He´s lucky to have his brother James…
John Ross: You´re obviously talking about me. I hope not everything´s bad…
Man #1: It´s time to meet the boss…
J.: Come on John Ross, go for them…
Boss: We must clear up the outcome of the Johnsons´ account. They came from Alaska in purpose and what they need the most is a fun night with a few Texan women. It´s upon you Beaumont…and take your little brother with you if you like.
J.R.: What if the little brother doesn´t want to waste his time embarrasing the company and the American society?
Boss: Remember we have to sum up the question of the Wentworth account, the one of that beautiful Andrea Thorne…
J.R.: I remember her…But maybe next day... (He walks out of the meeting room and picks up his cell to call Andrea Thorne. Her seductive voice on the answering machine gets him so excited that he can´t think about something clever to say and leaves no message. Then he remembers Olivia and calls her:
JR: I met once a disgusting little man who was hooked on the Chinese food. What about a Japanese?
O: Actually I was going to bed but I love exotic things before going to bed, as my mother used to say…Be here in 10 minutes.

SC .8 – INT: STRIPTEASE CLUB AT DALLAS SUBURBS

(James and his Alaska clients are sitting at the chairs closer to the center stage, where several young women are posing, half-naked. Blondes, brunettes, redheaded, tatooed…(The song “Girl” by Pat Benatar begins to play, slowly)

Do you like the way it feels when you get hurt?
Maybe you should take a long hard look at your self-worth
There’s an emptiness inside
It started many years ago
You always try to fill it up
Its a familiar place you go
One day you’ll just have to wake up, girl

On a given moment, James stands up to call his wife but he gets a surprise when he crosses his look with a very familiar blonde: his cousin Betsy. He is astonished to see her there but she goes on swaggering and dancing very professionally…)

You know you got a lot to learn
You’ve got to do it for yourself
Find your own direction, don’t rely on someone else
You got to know it in your heart
You’ve got to build it up with love, it isn’t hard to rise above
Wake up, you don’t wanna make up
You’ve got to do it for yourself
I know it feels sometimes that loneliness is worse
And with every change there comes a melancholy search
Now you can walk away from this
It doesn’t have to bring you down
Have faith in destiny you what goes around, comes around
You don’t have to stay and take it, girl

SC.9 - EXT / INT: CLARIDGE HOTEL HALL / MADELEINE´S SUITE

(The door of a limo is opened and we see a long leg wearing black silk stockings, getting out of the car. She takes her purse and walks into the hotel in a hurry. She eventually gets to the reception area. The woman is Madeleine, back from the airport.)

Madeleine: Matthew, honey, I forgot my passport at my suite. May I go up to get it now? If it´s not too late…
Matthew: I´m afraid the suite has been occupied by another person, but I can save you the trouble. We haven´t found your passport there, but maybe they did... (The couple goes to the elevator and she flirts with the recepcionist. They walk towards the suite, through a long corridor that ends right where the suite is.)
M.: Please allow me intercede for you (knocking on the door).
Female voice: Who is it?
M.: It´s Matthew from reception, I´m coming with the guest who occupied this suite prior to you. She may have forgotten her passport in your bedroom.
Female voice: Oh please let her in, we have something to talk about…(the woman turns out to be Barbara, who wide opens the door with a big welcome smile in her face, while Madeleine looks concerned because the recepcionist is leaving.) It´s been too long dear Madeleine, as long that I was beginning to worry about you. I think I have something that belongs to you (showing her the passport). Nowadays there are strict security rules to follow.
M: At exchange of what?
B: Of one call, a long-distance call, ask for this name. Use this phone…
M: If I make it, will you let me go?
B: So to say… (Fade out and End of Act Three)

SC.10 – EXT: SOUTHFORK RANCH, DALLAS, TEXAS

(A white limo parks and three people get out of it: Lucy, Curtis and their son Pete, and they begin to pick gifts out of the car afterwards. Ray, Donna, Maggie, Bobby Jr., Gary and Olivia come out of the house.)

Lucy: It´s been a wonderful trip, and Peter is really impressed.
Curtis: I´d say it´s his mum who´s impressed by the Disney characters…
Bobby: Did you enjoy yourself big boy?
Curtis: Sure he did, especially when Mama and Curtis…
Lucy: One minute, honey, good news will have to wait for the right time, perhaps after dinner.
Olivia: Hi Lucy, I´m Olivia, Gary´s “other” adult daughter…
Lucy: I´ve heard from you a lot. What brought you to Texas?
O: Well, I learnt that Gary and Val had marital problems so I thought that maybe…
L: …you could help them. Ok baby, I´m glad to meet you, but only they can work their differences out…and I´m sorry to say that… (putting her arm around Olivia´s shoulder and walking together into the house.)

SC.11 - INT: BARBARA´S SUITE AT CLARIDGE HOTEL, LONDON

Madeleine: So we lost the variance and you couldn´t build the highway…and about Clayton Farlow´s death…(Barbara puts a contract, possibly a confession, in front of her, on the table) I believed there was somethinig between us George, but I was wrong…Go to hell! (After saying that, she hungs up.)

Barbara: And now, Madeleine darling, write your real signature on this document that will be your murder confession regarding our dear Clayton Farlow.
M: You´d better be more convincing to make me do that...
B: Come in already honey! (she shouts out loud, towards the next door´s room. Julian walks out, pointing at her with a gun.) Is this convincing enough for you?
M (Expressing impotence and rage, and even so, scheming) What are you supposed to do with me now?
Male voice: Nothing alone. But we can bring you down if we all unite (another person comes in from the other door of the suite: it´s Bobby James Ewing. Madeleine´s mind begins to plot at 100% speed and she walks out to the balcony, and then she passes to the next suite´s balcony. She gets into it and then she walks out to the main corridor and begins to run away downstairs, followed by Bobby, Julian and a CIA agent. On a given moment, she must jump to the next building and, eventually, she makes it to safety, by now.)

SC.12 – INT: SOUTHFORK RANCH, LUCY´S BEDROOM

(The couple checks out the bedroom that Lucy has been sleeping at in the last ten years.)

Lucy: I know Curtis, that it´s a quite small space for two people but we may reform the house, actually right now is in the middle of an overall reform.
Curtis: Do you remember what I told you in Disneyland, in front of Cinderella´s castle?
Lucy: Course I do sweetheart. I answered you I couldn´t love you more than I do now, and I know you´ll be a good father for Peter…
Curtis: But…you don´t wanna marry me.
Lucy: I wanna live with you, getting to know you better and seeing our son growing up together. But I married the same man twice and both times it went wrong. Marriage is not my thing, but I do love men like you, independent, who wants to live his life fully…
C: Therefore, Lucy, this means you wanna live with me and Peter the rest of our lives, for good and bad, till death makes us apart…
L: Oh, you and your old-fashioned ideas…Yeah, yes, I do want us to be a family, but let me announce it to the family at the right time (the couple kiss. Fade out and End of Act Four.)

SC. 13 – EXT: LONDON STREETS

(Bobby, Julian, Barbara and the CIA Agent seem to have lost track of Madeleine until they run into a lavish sports car that speeds up over the allowed limits. They follow the car and confirm it is driven by Madeleine, who allegedly must have stolen it. At the London nights, dimly buildings are no help for Madeleine and a big favor for her pursuers. The sports car speeds up again and the police car must do likewise so it won´t lose its track. Madeleine turns on the right and crosses a bridge, as she presses the gas pedal…)

SC. 14 – INT: BARNES RANCH AT BRADDOCK

Cliff: By what name are you saying you´re gonna call him?
Maggie: My little baby´s name will be John Randolph Barnes…
Afton: …You´d even joke saying you´ll call him J.R.
C: I don´t believe this, it´s a conspiracy…(He huffs and puffs, and gets out of the room)
Afton (laughing) Above all, daughter, keep on mind that your dad may not be perfect but he loves the three of us. And now we are his only family aside from Will and Pamela.

SC. 15 – EXT: LONDON STREETS

(The chase continues. Both cars drive near a commercial area close to Thames river. All of a sudden, Madeleine´s car falls into the dark waters and sinks down…Fade into next scene. About twenty minutes later, the Thames River Police raises the sunken car. Inside there is a middle-aged woman who matches Madeleine´s description, but Barbara dares to ask: “May I see her?” After that, she identifies the corpse (“that bitch is gone forever”) and is let go. Bobby volunteers to fly them and Pamela, who was waiting at the Ewing jet, back home, far away from that lying, wicked and manipulative woman who almost destroyed their lives. Barbara kisses Julian, and Bobby kisses Pamela. Fade out and End of Act Five.)

SC.16 – INT: SUE ELLEN´S TURTLE CREEK MANOR

(Close shot of Dusty in bed, waking up to see, surprised, his dream woman besides him.)

Dusty: Tell me I´m not dreaming Sue Ellen…
Sue Ellen: No my dear Dusty, it´s real life. I want you in my life not as the Sue Ellen I was, not as the Dusty you were, but as two new people who try hard to get a better life.
Dusty: I love you Sue Ellen, and I never loved any other woman as I love you… (The couple kiss passionately…)

SC.17 – EXT: DALLAS BAR TERRACE

(Mandy pretends to handle a big deal in front of a female reporter she has known for years.)

Mandy: I have got a priceless piece of information. You´d never guess which Dallas oil baron had an out-of-wedlock daughter not with whom…
Reporter: Oh, please Mandy, don´t do this to me, tell me more please… (Fade out into next scene.)

SC.18 – INT: SUE ELLEN´S OFFICE AT SHEPARD INDUSTRIES BUILDING

(The tabloid has been put on her desk but she throws it into the bin in front of one of her employees.)

Sue Ellen: That tabloid is trash, it´s not even good for suiting the magazine. They publish nameless lies…I´m out for brunch (Sue Ellen gets into the elevator and, when she walks out of it, she thinks she´s seeing someone familiar coming out of the next elevator: may that woman be Mandy Winger? Are both surprises connected? But the woman gets into a limo right away. Sue Ellen mutters to herself: I never, ever liked surprises... (Fade out and End of Act Six.)

SC. 19 - LIVING-ROOM AT RESTORED SOUTHFORK MANOR AT NIGHT

(Ray, Donna and Maggie enter the living-room)

Ray: I´m not seeing too many true Ewing so far…
Donna: Don´t be so nitpicky Ray, Curtis is a Ewing in a sense, if my intuitions are right, and look who´s coming after them… (Maggie turns around and is surprised to see Uncle Bob and Aunt Pamela dressed up for a lavish party. They walk toward the middle of the room and beg their attention.)
Bob: After our long holidays, we´re finally home, at our beloved Southfork, restored so the younger Ewings may feel more comfortable and happy at it. And for the oldest, to have their quiet and roomy place to share with their loved ones.
Pam: Remember that, next week, all of us, and I mean all, including Maggie, Beckie, Betsy and John Ross, will attend the Annual Oil Barons´ Ball. We hope to see you all there…
Betsy (somewhat blushed): I have a professional appointment and I don´t think I can...
Pamela: Let me speak with your boss, babe (James arch his brows.)

SC. 20 - JOHN ROSS´S BEDROOM AT SOUTHFORK MANOR AT NIGHT

(The phone rings and someone asks for John Ross)

J.R.: Hello, John Ross speaking.
Man: I got you the tapes you were interested in.
J.R.: Are you sure it´s the same woman?
C: Sure, Andrea Thorne, she comes to the gym every day. I hope you know what you´re doing.
J.R.: I always do. Just watch your daughter and her illicit games from now on, otherwise I won´t be able to help you anymore (he hangs up.)

SC. 21 – CALLAWAY MANOR AT NIGHT

(While Callaway is sleeping loudly in his bedroom, Lucas is drinking a few beers before leaving, and sits down at the Callaway garden. He lits a cigarette and begins to say: “I failed you mum…and you too Charlie…” Then he takes the cigarette and throws it away beyond the fences. After that he gets back into the house and falls asleep in his old bed. He can´t see the house front, that has been set ablaze…)

SC. 22 – DR. CHOW´S OFFICE, THE NEXT MORNING

(Sue Ellen and Dr. Chow have agreed to use hypnosis, in presence of Dusty, in order to remember what happened a few months earlier, including her alleged suicide attempt.)

Dr. Chow: Now please, Sue Ellen, close your eyes slowly. I´ll count to ten and then, you should start remembering details of that night.
S.E.: All right, I´m completely sure of wanting this. Let´s start (holding Dusty´s hand)...
D.C.: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten…And now, take a deep breath and tell us what you remember of that night….(Sue Ellen winks, with a blank look in her face)

PRESENT IMPERFECT

(The song “Borderline” by Chris de Burgh is played over the end credits)
"Rolling through the countryside,
Tears are in my eyes,
We're coming to the borderline,
I'm ready with my lies,
And in the early morning rain, I see her there,
And I know I'll have to say goodbye again;
And it's breaking my heart, I know what I must do,
I hear my country call me, but I want to be with you,
I'm talking my side, one of use will lose,
Don't let go, I want to know
That you will wait for me until the day,
There's no borderline, no borderline;
Reaching for her hand,
Showing no emotion,
I want to break into a run,
And it's breaking my heart, I know what I must do,
I hear my country call me, but I want to be with you,
I'm taking my side, one of us will lose,
Don't let go, I want to know
That you will wait for me until the day,
There's no borderline, no borderline,
No borderline, no borderline... “

Episode 24:
PRESENT IMPERFECT

SC.1: EXT. (FLASHBACK). – FORMER EWING BUILDING SQUARE

(Subtitle: 6 months ago)

John Ross (John Ross is walking up and down as he talks on the cell phone): Yes, I know that we´re just two paid executives James, but I can´t forget who my father was.

John Ross: And I am John Ross…(She goes into the building followed by the security men from the building and a couple of policemen) Hope to see you again…

SC.2a: INT. - SUE ELLEN´S MANOR, IN TURTLE CREEK, DALLAS

(Subtitle: Present. Establishing shot of the manor. Close-up of Dusty as he wakes up. He then hears the shower´s running water. Dusty smiles and gets up. His close-up continues until he opens the shower door and Sue Ellen turns around)

SUE ELLEN (slightly surprised but smiling): Good morning…
DUSTY: It came to my mind that you might want to have some company…
S.E. (smiling slyly): Can you read my mind now? (They kiss passionately Ander the shower water. Fade out to next scene)

SC.2b: EXT. - SUE ELLEN´S MANOR

(General shot of S.E. and Dusty as they have breakfast at the manor terrace)

Dusty: You know, those kids of James´s and Cally´s have a lot of temper, especially the boy.
S.E.: Oh yes, Jimmy reminds me more and more to his grandpa J.R. By the way, did you know that the girl Ellie, actually is my dear deceased husband J.R.´s natural daughter?
D.: Seriously? Isn´t hard to you to share your daily life with Cally and her daughter knowing their links with J.R.?
S.E.: In fact, it isn´t. I admire Cally for having survived to a marriage with J.R. and having educated the girl far away from Dallas. They lived in Florida for a long time since her second marriage failed and Cally decided to come back to Dallas…Who knows if she considered the Ewings as her only family, after all. Upon she told me, she didn´t get along with her Haleyville brothers. Then she re-encountered James and, as far as I know, sparks flew between them. And no, nothing had happened between them when J.R. was alive…
D.: Are you happy to share your life with such a family as James´s, although John Ross doesn´t live with you any more?
S.E.: John Ross…he´s a challenge. Always changing his goals and his state of mind. So different from his daddy, and so likely though. He also dreams of being the master of Dallas and vindicate his daddy´s name among the oil barons.
D.: I am so proud you want to share with me your new life, though I guess you wouldn´t like to leave it for anything at all…
S.E.: You´re right about one thing: I wouldn´t like to leave them for anything. They give me a balance I didn´t have before going back to Dallas, while John Ross was studying in an English private school. But I do would love to share with you this life, day by day…
D. (smiling shyly): What are you trying to mean, Sue Ellen?
S.E.: I would become the happiest woman in the world if you moved in here with us…I´d love to make up for all the time I spent at Southern Cross…and for abandoning you. That was very unfair to you and one of the biggest mistakes I´ve made in my life.
D.: We were under a big deal of pressure…above all, from J.R. You know I never stopped loving you, Sue Ellen…
S.E.: Let´s start over. No thinking of the negative things of our past. Only you and me, and my noisy “adoptive” family…No marriage contracts either.
D.: Yes, I do… (kissing her several times tenderly. All of sudden, the house wireless phone rings and Sue Ellen hangs it up)
S.E.: Hello, this is Sue Ellen Shepard…
PAM: Hi Sue Ellen, I´m Pamela. How are you?
S.E.: Pamela, what a surprise!
P.: We returned a couple of days ago but I couldn´t call you till now. By the way, a fire happened in Southfork…
S.E.: What, ANOTHER fire? (alarmed)
P.: Oh, forgive me, Sue Ellen. I meant that the fire happened in the next-door ranch, the one that once belonged to Jenna Wade´s father. But all is under control, except for some horses that ran away because of the fire…Bobby and Ray are helping to find them.
S.E.: Wow, I had a “déjà vu” for a moment, just remembering the ´82 fire.
P.: I´m sorry…Shall we have lunch together, let´s say at one o´clock, at “Les Saisons”? I have a lot of things to tell you…
S.E.: All right…(Dusty points at himself) Oh, and Dusty says hello to you…
P. (hanging down): Well well. I see that she also has good news to give…(grinning from ear to ear)

SC.3: INT - QUORUM HOTEL (ROOM WHERE OLIVIA IS STAYING AT)

(John Ross wakes up alone and checks out the time in his watch, laid over the night table. Olivia gets out of the bath-room after having had a shower)

JOHN ROSS (while getting dressed): Sorry but I´m in a big hurry. I had an important meeting at 9 o´clock and look what time it is.
OLIVIA (sitting on the bed): I just thought that you might have breakfast with me. Actually I had ordered my favorite dishes. They make some great “eggs Benedict” here. But we could skip the meal…(letting her towel fall)
J.R. (watching her beautiful naked body): Hum…Olivia…We gotta talk. I spent a real good time with you, but I think we shouldn´t see each other again. We´re half-cousins after all…
O. (pissed off): What? But that didn´t stop you the first time, right? Neither the second time…You know very well that Gary is NOT my real father.
J.R. (tying his tie in front of the bath-room mirror): Well honey, call me whenever you came back to Dallas, and maybe we could meet if I´m not too busy…(looking for his watch) Where the hell is my watch?
O. (angry): Take your damned watch! (picking it up and throwing it away onto his face) You´re worse than your daddy, John Ross.
J.R.: And you´re hysterical. I´m looking for a steady relationship, with a gorgeous woman who can become my wife and be treated on an equal basis.
O.: After all the staff I confessed to you about my addiction…
J.R.: Bye-bye Olivia. And keep your stepdaughter Lucy so you won´t end up like her…(he opens the door and goes away. Olivia walks up and down through the bed-room and eventually, she picks up a cigarette pack from her purse and lights one up)
O.: Oh shit…I chose a bad day to stop smoking…

SC.4: INT. – CALLAWAY RANCH, IN BRADDOCK

(Molly is holding with her hands a smoke-blackened photo album. Suddenly, she hears somebody coming: it´s Bob and Ray)

MOLLY: Hi boys. Anything new ´bout the horses?
BOB: Molly…Yep, we got five of them back, but your foreman is still missing three thoroughbreds…
M.: Be damned…Those were my husband´s favorite ones.
B.: How is he doing?
M.: He´s being tested by several doctors. He´s connected to artificial respiration, though he´s awake…that´s the main thing. He was diagnosed a lung cancer a couple of years ago and he kept smoking despite of it. And now this…Don´t know what will ever happen to him…nor me (her voice weakens).
RAY: Molly, you can count on us, Donna and I, for whatever you need. Just call us…
B.: Ray is true. You´re not just neighbors, you´re part of our family. Such a misfortune should proof that. Pamela, Donna and Barbara also volunteered to help ya in whatever they can.
M.: (crying and holding Bob´s hand): Bob, you´re both very kind, please giv´em thanks from me. There´s something else…
B.: What is it?
M.: The sheriff came to question me about our gardener, you know, that guy I gotta fire…
B.: You mean Joel?
M.: Yep, well, that isn´t his real name, but it isn´t the point. Upon the sheriff, he might have something to do with the fire start. I had him fired that day and he used to smoke a lot, almost as much as my husband. Also, they found empty beer cans and some of his belongings floating at the pool…
R.: I didn´t know he was causin´ you trouble, Molly. I talked to him once and he didn´t seemed to be that kind of boy.
B.: Ain´t you hinting that the sheriff thinks that the boy caused the fire?
M.: Partly I am. I do not think so myself. In fact, we´re expecting the old man to be able to talk quietly and know more about the subject…
R.: There ´ve been cases of vandalism and horse stealin´ in this area lately. Hope he had nothing to do with that.
M.: Me too. Though I´ve lost some things forever… (looking at the old family album as she wipes her tears away)

SC.5: INT. – SHANIA´S APARTMENT, IN DALLAS

(Shania arrives at her apartment carrying a couple of bags and, once she put them on her bed, she sits on her sofa and turns the television on. She gets up a minute later and opens the fridge, and pours her a glass of cold orange juice. The television show host introduces a guest specialized in gossip news and Shania reaches for the remote to turn it off, until she hears the following comment)

GUEST: One of the 80´s most alluring Dallas Top Models, whose initials are M.W., has just revealed to the mag “Dallas Hush” that her long relationship with a big, big local oil baron produced a long-lost daughter who remained unknown until now. And why? Let´s say that our sources have been compassive with the mysteriously deceased oil baron´s ex wife, since the latter, a former Miss Texas, was a helpless alcoholic who had often left her baby and kept a few affairs with a number of men. If we add that the oil baron and she had married and divorced twice, I´m sure that you can find out who we´re talking about. The aforementioned Top Model is in the middle of legal Works to claim for the inheritance that belongs to her daughter, as one of the heirs of the oil empire. We will keep you updated here, as usually (Shania takes the remote and turns off the television set, her face looking angry. After that, she opens one of her wardrobe doors and takes out of a shoe box a gun with a silencer…She carries it and looks at her mother Mandy´s photo, over the dressing table…Fade Out and End of Act One)

SC.6: INT. – RESTAURANT “LES SAISONS”, IN DALLAS

(Pam and Sue Ellen walk up to the booked table and they sit down, as they smile at each other. The waiter gives the “carte” to them and they both ask for a bottle of “Perrier” water with a slice of lemon in it. Once alone, they begin their chat)

S.E.: Oh Pam, you know that you can drink alcohol in front of me…
P.: Yes, of course I do. I really need that after the exotic meals we had at all those countries.
S.E.: So tell me, where did your tour around the world take you? And don´t say that to Scandinavia, because you sent me a postcard from New Zealand…
P.: True, I have very good news though they´re not official yet…
S.E.: Anything to do with Christopher?
P. (surprised): How did you know?
S.E.: Easy: your face looked radiant as you were saying it…
P.: Yes indeed, soon, really soon, we will have Christopher with us again…
S.E.: What about his girlfriend Jane?
P.: They got married in a very intimate ceremony and they are very happy, aside of collaborating with each other at work. Thanks to Jane´s dad we could learn that the last member of the group goin´ after Christopher had just been sentenced to a life imprisonment. Therefore, they have started the procedures for the Witness Protection Program to re-introduce them in the country without any sort of risk and using their true identity.
S.E.: Oh that´s great Pam! I am so glad for you…and Bob.
P.: Now tell me about Dusty and you. His problems are worked out now, aren´t they?
S.E.: Yeah, he´s a new man, and honestly Pam, he makes me think a lot about the man I met at that Southfork Rodeo…
P. (laughing): Sue Ellen, I´m amazed to see you so happy after the latest incidents…
S.E. (she suddenly looks straight): Well, not everything´s goin´ fine. I´m still determined to find out what happened the day of my accidental overdose. I turned to Dr. Chow as you advised me to…
P.: Yes, I worried about your phone message.
S.E.: Also, I´ve begun to notice Mandy Winger´s presence in my life again, and very often, and I can´t help but feeling that anger against her. Well, back to what I was saying, the doctor submitted me to hypnosis, and actually, I…
P. (impatient): Yes, Sue Ellen?
S.E.: …I didn´t remember anything about that night at all, save for two mysterious hands that kept on giving me pills and vodka glasses. I can´t even remember if they belonged to a man or a woman…I can´t help thinking that somebody, out there, wants me dead… (Pam is pensive and concerned, and gets her hand closer to her friend´s over the table)

SC.7: EXT. – “LOVE FIELD” DALLAS AIRPORT

(Gary and Olivia have just checked in her baggage and now they are listening for the P.A. announcement regarding to her return flight to San Francisco)

Olivia: I´ve been missing you so much, Gary. I whish you spent some time with me in San Francisco, I could show you the best places in town and you´d switch off from the problems…
Gary: You sound strange, I thought you´d like me to make up with Valene.
O.: Of course I do, but I can´t work out your lives. Nor I can, being thirtysomething, go on with my romantic idea of relationships. I end up depending on men as much as I used to depend on drugs.
G.: Maybe you´re right and I should pay you a visit…What´s your advice about Val?
O.: Be true. At 100%. Don´t feel hurt in your pride because two little hoods came up and force you to transfer a business to them. I think it’s disgusting what they did to you, but lying to Val was wrong. You went through a big lot of things together, since you´re fifteen. What do you think that she would feel like if she knew all that? Maybe you´re not the good ol´Gary anymore? You had trouble with violent people before, like those con men who caused Sid Fairgate´s death. And you got ahead. You even survived my mum Abby. You´re not just one of the Ewing boys. Now that J.R. is gone, you´re the eldest, and nothing, nobody can change the fact that you´re a strong, powerful, brave man, and appealing for your age too…
G.: Hey, I´m not THAT old!
O.: I know, I know, was kiddin´…Come on, think about comin´ to see me. But first take in account that Val deserves to know what you were subjected to. What about it?
G.: Sometimes I really don´t know how you could ever become such a lady, after having bad influences in certain moments of you life…(looking away).
O. (holding him tightly): Come here, you grumpy man…(Gary kiss her check before they stop their embrace). I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Please say good-bye to Lucy and the others.
G.: Love ya baby.
O.: Me too. See ya soon (Gary watches Olivia walk away from him and can´t help pouring one little tear).

SC.8: INT. – RESTAURANT “LES SAISONS”

(Pam and Sue Ellen are finishing their lunch, and go on talking)

P.: How´s been Shania during my absence?
S.E.: Well. I´ve tried to make her feel like family to help her overcome her past once and for all, and I think that she made it. Besides, I gave her 50% of the magazine shares, by contract.
P.: Oh.
S.E.: I´m convinced that she´ll be able to give the best of herself this way, so she can collaborate with you in the revamping of the mag, and also fulfill herself privately.
P.: Do you know if she´s dating someone?
S.E.: No, as far as I know. Pamela, let me tell you that I have decided to sell my own 50%. I mean, give it to you. For old times´ sake…
P.: That´s a real surprise, I don´t know what to say. I suppose that everything will go fine with Shania, although I don´t know her as well as you do. You know that, if it depends on me, I´m willing to go back at work. Tomorrow, if that´s OK for you. About the new look for the magazine, I agreed with you before leaving and I still am. The potential male public must be included, not only women.
S.E.: I want to have more spare time to devote to Dusty and the kids. Maybe we´ll go on a trip too, he and me. John Ross has become so independent since he inherited J.R.´s fortune that I hardly see him, and Cally is dedicated to their children and her photo hobby since she sold out her art galleries. James is such a wonderful dad, I never thought that a son of J.R.´s could be a good husband and father.
P.: Sue Ellen, do not forget that you got us at Southfork. You´re an important part of our family. And I´m not speaking for me and Bobby only, but also for Ray and Donna, Gary and Val, and Barbara and Julian.
S.E.: What a shocking end Madeleine had…I read it on the newspapers online. When I think that Southfork almost end up belonging to that woman forever…
P.: Yeah, that´s a nightmarish idea…(The maître d´ brings the dessert list to them)
François: Would you like to see the dessert list, Mrs. Ewing?
P. & S.E. (at once): No thanks! (They both laugh out loudly)
S.E.: Maybe next time, François…

SC.9: INT. – BARBARA´S BED-ROOM, IN SOUTHFORK

(That night, Barbara and Julian sleep in their bed. She begins to shake her head nervously and Julian wakes up. She looks at her sweaty face and, at last, Barbara wakes up, anguished)

Julian: Are you ok, darling?
Barbara (gasping for breath): Julian…How lucky to have you by my side…
J.: You know I am. Have you had another bad dream?
B.: Yeah…about here again. Madeleine. I was chasing her with my car and I was the one who fell into the river and drawn…I tried to get out of there but couldn´t do anything…and a self-satisfied Madeleine was watching me from the bridge…
J.: It´s just a nightmare, sweetheart. They´ll be over soon. It´s a matter of time. I told you shouldn´t have asked to see her corpse…
B.: That face…I can´t stop seeing her when I close my eyes. She´s sort of tormenting me from beyond death…(Julian holds her tenderly and kisses her cheek as he caresses her arm)
J.: Everything will be different when we leave on our holidays to Europe. Trust me…(Zoom into Barbara´s concerned face. Fade Out and End of Act Two)

SC.10: EXT. – FORMER EWING BUILDING SQUARE

(The start of the flashback scene with JOHN ROSS and ANDREA is re-played)

John Ross (John Ross is walking up and down as he talks on the cell phone): Yes, I know that we´re just two paid executives James, but I can´t forget who my father was. The woman is carrying a suitcase and doesn´t notice John Ross…Suddenly, a shot is heard and John Ross watches the attractive woman being gunned down)

J.R. (Waking up in the middle of the night): No…! (He looks around and his mind goes back to reality. (Fade into a shot of the young man in the shower and then, once dressed with a short and trousers, he takes his cell and dials a number)
Answering-machine: Hello, we´re Cally and James. If we don´t hang up the phone, our children must be playing pranks. Please leave a message and we´ll call you when everything gets back to normal. See you soon…(a bleep sounds) Hello big brother. I know you´re not gonna hang up because it´s really early morning…Wanna talk to you. Call me and we´ll set the time and place. Thanks…(A pensive John Ross hangs down and looks ahead)

SC.11: INT. –BARNES RANCH

(Molly parks her car and gets out of it, and walks towards the house main door and rings the bell)

Afton: Yes?
Molly: Hello, my name is Molly Callaway, the neighbor of the Ewings of Southfork…
A.: Oh yeah, I´m sorry, we met at one barbecue party. I´m really sorry about your house fire…
M.: Thanks, you´re so kind. Is your husband at home?
A.: Cliff? Oh sure. He´s playing with our grandson at the back patio. Come in…
M.: OK…(Afton opens the door all the way and she openly smiles at her. Then they both walk out to the patio and Cliff stares at them, surprised to see Molly)
A.: Darlin´, here´s Molly, she´s come to see ya…
Cliff (rasing his eyebrows exaggeratedly): Hi Molly. How´s your husband?
M.: Good… (subtly looking at Afton)
A.: Well, I think I should change this little boy´s diaper…Glad to see ya.
M.: Me too. (Afton walks into the house and Cliff stands up)
C.: I thought your husband was in hospital.
M.: Actually, he is. But he doesn´t people talk about his health. Until this morning, he couldn´t talk fluently. His artificial respiration is off and he told me about some things that happened at the fire evening…
C.: So?
M. (taking an envelope out of her purse): This is for you Cliff. Think you might be interested in it (the song “Out of my Hands” by Dave Matthews Band begins to play):

“Out on my window ledge
I don't feel safe
And I stay
Looking down on you
It's out of my hands for now
It's out of my hands for now
I can't just walk away
Be nice to walk away
But I don't feel safe
Get away, all the way up here
Its out of my hands for now
Its out of my hands for now”

C. (he opens it and finds a driver´s license and a photo of her daughter Beckie´s, probably taken the previous year): Hey, this is my daughter and he is, this is…your gardener, right? Where did you get this? It looked as if you rescued it from the fire, and about this license, I´d say it´s faker than a blue dollar…
M.: Bingo. The truth is that my husband said that he woke up that evening, when he smelled burnt at home. But he fell down and couldn´t get up. Without Joel´s help, he couldn´t have got out of there alive and well. It seems that he helped to walk by the pool and then he went back in to try to save his stuff. Afterwards, the firemen came and Joel vanished. The sheriff thought that the kid might have had something to do with the fire, but we weren´t able to find´m. Cliff, I know you had some good reason to keep him far and away, but it came to my mind that maybe you knew something about´m and help me to find´m.
C.: I´m very sorry Molly. I´m glad a tragedy didn´t happen, but that young man can´t live back at Braddock or Dallas again, as far as I concern. It´s a family matter, I just can´t tell you but that´s the way things are…
M. (looking disappointed): All right Cliff. I understand your decision, but if the sheriff or the police questions me about it again, I´m gonna say all I know. It´s a family matter for me too (Afton looks through one of the house windows, drawing a curtain, as she watches them discreetly with a serious expression in her eyes).

SC.12: INT. – STRIPTEASE-CLUB, IN DALLAS

(A bartender fills up a cocktail glass and serves it to the person sitting in front of him. We see a woman´s hand, with long, fuchsia pink-painted nails, which picks up the glass and takes it up to her lips. The woman´s face belongs to Mandy Winger…)

MANDY: Thank you sweetie. It tastes amazing, as usual… (On the stage, a few models walk up and down wearing little gowns, mini-shirts or sexy lingerie…Suddenly, Beth shows up in a tight nightgown with a mini-shirt. Mandy starts speaking to the bartender): Excuse me darlin´…What´s the name of that girl in the nightgown? I´d never seen her around…(He puts a 100-dollar folded note under his hand)
Bartender: That´s one the boss´s latter acquisitions. The babe is called Beth…Clements, I think. She´s got a reputation for being tough and doing her own way.
M.: Will you introduce each other when her number?
C.: Sure honey… (The spotlights focus on the girls, one by one, and finally the place remains in the dark for a minute. After that, the usual lights are re-established. Some moments later, Beth comes up dressing casual, and walks by the bar)
Beth: Hi Brian. Will you please give me the usual drink?
C.: Right now…Ah, here´s someone who wants to meet ya…
B. (turning to Mandy): Oh really…Who is it?
M. (standing up to shake her hand): Hello Beth. My name is Mandy Winger and I am the director of a modeling agency. I was just wondering if you´d like to attend a Greek Islands cruise next week. There´ll be a loto of top designers and photographers, and talent seekers too…Do you have your book?
B.: Course, well, not exactly…No, but I could get one just like that.
M.: Don´t worry, you won´t need it this time. We would pay for all the expenses and you´d probably get back to Dallas with several catwalk model contracts in your purse…
B.: It sounds great…I´ve wanted to get this town out of my sight…and never been at the Greek Islands…When do you need an answer?
M.: As soon as possible dear. There´s only one vacancy for a girl and you meet every requirement. We would be leaving to Athens tomorrow, and we´d sign the contracts there and finish your book arrangements. (Holding out her hand to her) Is it a deal?
B. (Holding her hand): All right, it´s a deal…
M.: Welcome to the fascinating world of international Top Models…

SC.13: INT. – SOUTHFORK RANCH STABLES

(American shot of John Ross and James walking, followed by their horses)

James: I haven´t come here for awhile…What´s your problem, John Ross?
John Ross: Why do you think I´ve got a problem?
J.: Well, because you called me early in the morning and you left me a message to meet as soon as possible.
J.R.: I´ve gotta ask for some advise but please understand it well, no misunderstanding. It´s about a woman…
J.: Wow, I´m very glad for ya…
J.R.: Wait, don´t rush…I´ve been having nightmares regarding her lately, and I don´t know how to interpret them. I just…wanna be with her, more and more every day…
J.: And what does she feel about ya?
J.R.: We´ve had lunch a couple of times, but we didn´t…sleep together.
J.: …And you want her.
J.R.: Sure I do, but I wanna be sure I´m not gonna ruin everything…
J.: Be yourself, John Ross, and be true to her. It´s the only thing I can tell ya.
If you like her, don´t hesitate and go for her…
J.R.: Thanks brother. Will you take my horse back at the stables?
J.: Of course (smiling and moving his head from side to side).

SC.15: EXT. – STREETS OF DALLAS

(Pam and Afton walk as the first pushes the stroller with Maggie´s baby in it)

P.: When is Maggie coming home?
A.: Next week, on time for the Oil Barons´ Ball…She is very happy to attend for the first time. But she had to go to Biloxi to pick up the last things she had there.
P.: I know what she must be feeling like. I felt the same way in 1982, the first time Bobby took me there…It was very moving to listen to Miss Ellie´s speech accepting Jock´s death publicly…
A.: Poor Jock…Sometimes I remember the day they left to Paris and I sang the song “C´est magnifique” for them at Southfork…
P.: Changing of subject, little John is getting bigger and bigger…
A.: Yes, partly that´s why we´ve come to this store right here, to exchange one of his pajamas…(pointing at left). Shall we get in?
P.: No, Afton. If you don´t mind, I´ll stay with the baby around here, this fresh wind is lightening the summer heat…
A.: All right, but don´t go away, eh? (Pam begins to speak to the baby, using his rattle to call his attention. Suddenly, Pam stands up and a car stops by a few meters away. Two women get out of it, one of them is Mandy Winger, and the other one is Shania. Pam gets quite a shock to realize the physical resemblance between them, by the first time. Then she tries to hide away and gets into the store where Afton is exchanging the baby´s clothes. Fade Out and End of Act Three)

SC.14: INT. – SOUTHFORK RANCH, MAGGIE´S ROOM

(Donna half-opens the door of Maggie´s bed-room)

Donna: May I come in honey?
Maggie: Sure you can mum.
D.: I bought you a little gift so you won´t be bored on the plane to Austin.
M.: What is it? (unwrapping the pack to find a book inside) “The Mists Of Avalon”…It sounds fascinating…
D.: It´s a version of King Arthur´s legend from the women´s points of view, you know, Morgaine, Igraine, Guinevere…I hope you´ll like it.
M.: There´s a dedication… ”With all my love, to my stepmother and best friend Donna, from Dave” Did your stepson Dave Culver give it to you?
D.: Yes…One of the times I visited him at Washington happened to be my birthdays…He was so sweet and I miss him so much…
M. (embracing her mother): Oh, mummy, you went through so many things, first Sam´s death, then Ray´s cousin´s and finally, Dave´s gone at the WTC attempt. Hopefully I will be like you, someday.
D.: Darling, are you sure you want to leave already? The courses will begin within two weeks…You could have fun at the Oil Barons´ Ball…
M.: Look mum. Sometimes I can´t stand the family, not you, but some of them…
D.: Namely Betsy? (She looks away) Why haven´t you told me yet the reason of your catfight?
M. (blushed up): …All right, but I don´t want to make things worse with her. One day, I walked in my room and there was Betsy, reading my diary and making rude remarks about dad and me. She practically called him “bastard” and gave herself airs, and I attacked her, using what I had at hand, the pillows…
D.: Wow wow…I have a shrewd for daughter and didn´t know…I am very glad you told me. If Betsy knows our secrets, I am going to have to watch over her so she won´t explain them to anybody. But don´t be resentful, that will end up turning against you and, after all, Betsy is your cousin.
M.: …Even that about Christopher, the whole thing, she read it on my daily, and I had it locked up with a one-copy key, but obviously, she even had another copy done…
D.: I understand your delusion now and also the long face you had these weeks…and above all, your not talking to Betsy. Focus yourself in your goals and think that here in Southfork, everybody will be wishing you´re back. Especially your dad and me.
Ray (popping in): What are you sayin´ bout me?
Maggie (running to him): Nothing. Nothing wrong, I mean.
R.: Glad ´cause I´ve come to invite you to eat the best Texan steaks I´ve ever had…
D.: Give me five minutes and I´ll be ready.
M. (Holding her father) I´ll be missing you a big deal, dad…
R.: Me too, sweetheart…

SC.15: INT. – SUE ELLEN´S MANOR, FRONT ENTRANCE

(James´s car stops in front of the manor and Cally, the kids and, finally, the driver James get out if it)

James: Well well, kids. Take your things to the garage and then have a shower…
Cally (getting closer to James): Ugh, James, I´m very tired of the beach drive, I think that I´m gonna need one of those tonic massages of yours …
J.: Take it for granted, babe…(Suddenly, a car stops by and a man in a black suit gets out of it and gives some papers to James)
Man: Mr. James Richard Beaumont?
J.: I am. What´s goin´on?
M.: This is for you. (James looks confused and when he looks up, the man has already driven off) Hey wait…!
C. (Coming out of the garage): Anything´s wrong James?
J.: I can´t believe it…my ex-wife is suiting me for Jimmy´s custody…
C.: Debra Lynn?
J.: The same…
C.: I thought she had given the kid´s custody forever. (First shot of a serious, pensive James)

SC.16: INT. – CALLAWAY RANCH IN BRADDOCK

(Bob´s car parks near the pool of the Callaway Ranch, which is being re-built. Bob gets out of it and walks towards a group, where Molly is)

Bob: Hi Molly,
Molly: Hi Bob. I´ll be with you in five minutes. There are refreshments inside the house, serve yourselves…Happy to see you. I was about to go find you.
B.: Oh yeah? Why´s that?
M.: Are you interested in buying another ranch?
B.: Molly, don´t tell me you´re leavin´…
M.: The doctor gives my husband barely a couple of months if we don´t move in to a warmer climate. I have a brother down in Florida and maybe we could settle down there. Though this would imply selling all the lands and animals, of course.
B.: Honestly Molly, I´m not sure it´s a good time. We´re still remodelling the main house and repairing the wreck its former owner caused. Don´t know if we have enough cash to buy you out the ranch…
M.: Well, I´d make a special price for you. After all, you´ve been like family, all these years. Besides, your contractor is helping me to re-build the house and it´ll soon look like new. I can´t deny that I´m afraid that the old Callaway could die, and I become the ranch´s only responsible person…I want to devote myself to him during the whole time he had left.
B.: You´re a big gal Molly.
M.: Don´t say it so quick Bob…(she gets into the house and brings some documents) Take a look at them.
B. (reading them with attention): A photocopy of your gardener´s birth certificate and his driver´s license…under the name of…Lucas Wade! Who gave you this Molly, and why didn´t ya tell me before?
M.: I didn´t for a simple reason: I was having an affair with him until I found out who he really was.
B.: Oh God Molly, he is my son, the son I had with Jenna Wade…Please tell me who got you this report, who gave you these photocopies…
M.: Someone belonging at your family, though you haven´t always been good friends. It was Cliff Barnes… (Bob wide opens his eyes, unable to believe it. The song “Out of my Hands” continues through the next scene)

“Oh it is
Down in from here
And down from here
Start to feel insane
Betrayed
Out on my window ledge
Now our finest hour arrives
See the pig dressed in his finest fine
And all that believe stand behind him and smile
As the day lights up with fire
Let me in
Let me in
I start to feel like I'm crazed
Betrayed
Out on my window ledge
Now our finest hour arrives
See the pig dressed in his finest fine
And all the believers stand behind him and smile
Watch the day's lights up with fire”

SC.17: INT. –EWING BEACH HOUSE, IN GALVESTON

(A doubtful Valene takes her cell phone and dials her daughter Betsy´s number, but an automatic message reports her that she is out and Val hangs down before leaving any message. Right away she takes her last book´s galleys and a scarf that she puts around her neck, and walks out of her house and towards the beach. Fade into next scene. Valene gets to the beach, where she finds a very strong wind, but she sits down in a lounger and starts reading her last book´s draft…Cut to a shot of her cell, ringing at home, displaying Gary´s name…The song ends.)

“Looking down from here
It's outta my hands for now
Out on my window ledge
It's outta my hands for now
So let me in
Let me in”

SC.18: INT. –SOUTHFORK LIVING-ROOM

(Bob has gathered all the co-owners of the estate, including his wife Pam, Gary, Ray, Donna, Barbara, Julian, Lucy, Curtis, Bobby and Will)

Bobby: I´ve tried to find my little sister, but, as usual, is “missing in action”…
Bob: Thanks Bobby. It´s an urgent matter, so I´ll go to the point. Our neighbor Molly Callaway and her husband have decided to sell their ranch for health reasons. She made us the first offer and is willing to negotiate. The point is if you think it´s positive that Southfork expands its lands and also acquires their cattle and horses.
Ray: After the cut demanded by the government to detour the highway out of our lands, they kept the hotel area, it would be good for us to have a few more acres.
Gary: Have you already thought what these lands could be for?
B.: They are at the windiest area of Southfork, so I felt you might be interested in it to build up eolic energy towers.
G.: A great idea, brother.
Will: Our company could mediate between you and the bank in case you would need a loan to close this deal.
G.: Fine Will. I take your word.
Barbara: We had planned to spend some time in Europe, in Hungary specifically, once we are sure that Julian´s problems with the previous regime are worked out. Count on us, though we will spend the next months there…
Donna: Did they ever drill oil out of the Callaway lands, Bob?
B.: I don´t think so, but I will ask. If we needed an operation of restoration and cleaning of the original land, you could take care of it thru your company. Well, I take it for accepted then, right? I´ll ask our consultants to ellaborate a fair offer for the Callaways. (the group begins to dissolve. Lucy and Curtis start to whisper)
Curtis: Does your family always get that along?
Lucy: Now they do, but it took us almost a century…Shall we take little Pete to the movies?
C.: All right, but it has to be an adventure movie…(Lucy and Curtis hold their hands and go upstairs for Pete)
Pam (getting close to Bob, who puts himself a bourbon): What´s wrong? I know there´s something you didn´t tell us.
B: Pam, I found out something recently that could change our lives…and your brother is involved in it.
P.: Cliff? Come on Bobby, there is no feud between the Ewings and the Barneses. Even Cliff agreed to name his grandson with after J.R.
B.: I can´t still talk about it with anybody. Give me time and maybe one of these days I will. But don´t pressure me Pam…(He walks away and out of the house. Pam looks confused and astonished. Fade Out and End of Act Four)

SC.19: INT. – “INTERNATIONAL BANK” OFFICES, IN DOWNTOWN DALLAS

(First shot of Sue Ellen, sitting at one of the chairs of the Branch´s Chairman´s office)

S.E.: Exactly Mr. Newton, I want to tranfer half-million dollars into the Greystone Clinic account at Montreux, Switzerland. And I want it done as soonest as possible.
Sr. Newton: Don´t worry Mrs. Shepard. In a couple of hours, your transfer will be done. Do you want your name to appear in it?
S.E.: Yes, take note please: I want my married name in it, Mrs. Sue Ellen Shepard Ewing.
Mr. N.: No problem Mrs. Ewing, I mean Shepard, ahem.
S.E.: This is a little wink at a fried of mine there, that´s all. I count that I can trust you to get the procedure ready really quickly. It´s very important for me (Zoom into her smiling face)

SC.20: INT. – SUE ELLEN´S BED-ROOM

(Establishing shot of the manor, zooming into the window of Sue Ellen´s bed-room)

Dusty: Don´t you think you´re rushing in Sue Ellen?
S.E. (folding a blouse and putting it inside the bag): No, not at all. My mind is blocked out and stops me from seeing who is trying hard to get rid of me. If I can´t get any help at that Switzerland clinic, I won´t anywhere else. Besides, I´m sure they will be able to ease me more info about Shania…
D.: Why do you think they´d break their rules and give you those data?
S.E.: Because I´ve just invested on them half-million dollars, that´s why…
D.: Sue Ellen, please think it over, it can become really dangerous.
S.E.: Pamela told me that yesterday, she saw Shania on the street by chance, guess with whom: Mandy Winger…
D.: Wait a minute babe, and I´ll help you and go with you to Switzerland.
S.E.: Dusty I´m sorry but I have to do it by myself. It´s part of the new Sue Ellen. I wanna not depend on anybody for this kind of things, nor for anything either…Will you be here when I´m back?
D.: When you´re back…I´ll be here. (He kisses her passionately and they hold)

SC.21: INT. – MONAHAN & EWING BUILDING, IN DALLAS

(Low-angle shot of the company high building. Fade into a first shot of Bobby.)

Gary (off): So you´re getting married?
Bobby (nodding): Aha. If you and Mother agree.
G.: Why do you think you need our approval?
Will: You and Val are very important for Bobby. He would like you all to meet us as often as you did, all together, although we know that you and your wife are separated Mr. Ewing.
Bobby: We are partners and a couple, and want you to keep on being our family.
G.: But you already know that your marriage won´t be legal in Texas yet, only in Canada.
W.: Yeah, but we trust that someday soon, that will change Mr. Ewing…
G.: Please call me Gary. OK, I think that´s great. (He holds his son and, as he tries to shake Will´s hand, he also hugs him. Gary feels somewhat uncomfortable but keeps a smile in his face.)
B.: Well, I hope that Mother will think along. (The intercom rings) Yes Elaine?
E.: Tune in the Channel 8, Mr. Ewing. Something bad has happened in Galveston…(Bobby switches on the small TV set remote and the screen features a female presenter reporting about the tragedy…)
P.: “…these have been the damages so far at the seaside of Galveston, Texas, because of the Katrina hurricane. The experts are afraid that the number of victims would exceed one thousand given the storm´s severity and speed…”
G.: Oh my God…Val… (a fearful Gary is afraid of the worst after watching the news. By his side, Bobby and Will look at each other concerned.)

SC.22: INT. –SOUTHFORK LANDS, IN BRADDOCK

(A group of cowboys are going after several horses. The group is led by Ray, Bob and Steve, the ranch´s foreman. The wind is blowing stronger and stronger.)

B.: A big storms seems to be gathering. I think this is Callaway´s last herd of horses. If we can rope and bring them back to the ranch, we´ll have done a good work.
R.: I´m gonna get that over there Bob. (Pointing at the horse running away through the left side of the path.)
B.: OK Ray. We´ll follow thru the right side…

SC.23: INT. – BETH´S APARTMENT, IN DALLAS

(Her flatmate and workmate Harmony gets out of the shower and puts a bathrobe on for hanging up the phone.)

Harmony: Hello?
Gary: Hello. May I talk to Betsy, please?
H.: Ah, you mean Beth, don´t you? She is out. Who is calling her?
G.: I´m her father Gary Ewing. I need to talk with her urgently. Don´t you know where she can be?
H.: I am Harmony, her flatmate…I think she´s away on a cruise…
G.: What? Where to?
H.: It´s a cruise for work. She was promised to be hired to do modeling catwalks and those kind of things…I wouldn´t have gone if I were her, because there´s usually a lot of dirty old men…
Bobby: Hi, Harmony?
H.: Yeah?
B.: I´m Beth´s twin brother, Bobby. I´m trying to find her and our mother Valene. You don´t know anything about her, don´t ya?
H.: Actually I do. She called a couple of hours ago but I was out and left a message. She asks her to call, it´s something important and she needs her. She sounded a bit desperate…
B.: Thank you Harmony, thank you. Call us at 214 981 981. Somebody will always answer you or else, an answering-machine…Ask for Bobby Ewing or Will Monahan.
H.: Is Beth really a Ewing…from the Ewings of Southfork?
B.: You´d ask it to her, wether she still considers herself a Ewing…Thanks for your help (hanging down)…

SC.24: INT. – SOUTHFORK LANDS

(A big van drives through the road that links Southfork with the Callaway Stables. Once they get there, Donna gets out of it and Maggie stays inside.)

Donna (when she notices the foreman): Hi Steve. Have you seen my husband? How many horses are left for roping?
Steve: Just a couple of them m´am, but seems that, either they have ran far away or a group of horse stealers have captured them.
D.: It´s terrible, poor Molly…Tell me where Ray can be, I´m gonna try to find him.
S.: Be careful Donna. The air is blowing stronger ever time and you can hardly walk.
D.: I don´t have any choice…My husband is out there and could be in trouble. Thanks for your information.
S.: You want me to go with ya?
D.: OK, Steve (Donna and Steve walk up until the van and they drive towards the place where Ray was last seen.)

SC.25: INT. – WENTWORTH INDUSTRIES BUILDING, NEXT TO FORMER EWING BUILDING

(Low-angle shot of the building zooming into one of the Windows. The sky is clouded.)

Andrea: Hello John Ross. I´m very glad to see you…
J.R.: Me too…
A.: I´ve had an awful day, with a lot of stressful meetings. You must have read that the Wentworth shares are quickly raising.
J.R.: Yes, I read something about it.
A.: As we speak, owning a big part of the company would be a great deal, it´s at the Top Ten of the world´s most productive business of last year. Well, I guess that you are not here for business.
J.R.: No, actually not. I´m here because…I was missing you. I have been thinking of you and our last dinner. (She gets up and gets closer to him)
A.: Why didn´t you come to my house? We could have talked about it quietly.
J.R.: Are we alone?
A. (pushing the intercom button): Joseph, you can go home. We do are alone, now. (The song “Undercover” by Peter Yorn begins to play.)

“Say the talk and I won't mind
There's a cause you know I'll never try
And I love you like the one I used to know
And if you never had the time
That's an ordinary problem
And I said I'd lie to have a place to go
And you held and then you tried
I could never find another
If you walk me to the car park
I won't go
To my left I saw the time
Flash and fall it seemed to swallow you
I could love you like the sister
I never had
Drawing circles in your concrete
I will know your every move
And I'll send you
I'll send you”

(J.R. stares at her as he caresses her right cheek. At last, the couple kisses once and again, and start to undress each other. When they are naked, he holds her in his arms and takes her to one of the sofas in the office. They begin to make love just there…with passion and tenderness at once)

“And you held and then you tried
I could never find another
If you walk me to the car park
I won't go
And we held and then we tried
There was hardly lust between us
I will love you
I won't let go
'Cos we are one inside these walls
Undercover
We are one inside these walls
Undercover
We are one inside these walls
Undercover”

A.: Oh yes, John Ross…At last…
J.R.: Yes Andrea, at last…(A thunder claps and rain begins to fall.)

SC.25: INT. – SOUTHFORK LANDS

(Donna brakes the van and gets out of it when she notices someone moving among mist and rain.)

D.: Ray! Is it you?
R.: Donna! Go home, now…
D.: Ray, what´s wrong?
R.: Leave now, come…oh… (he stops talking as if he had been knocked out in his head)
D.: Ray, are you OK? (she goes back to the van) Please Steve, help us. Ray seems to have some sort of problem…(Steve walks out with his shotgun and towards where Ray´s voice was coming from. Fearful Donna and Maggie stay inside the van. All of sudden, a shot is heard.) Raay! (A shocked Donna screams…)

SC.26: INT. – GREYSTONE CLINIC, IN MONTREAUX, SWITZERLAND

(Low-angle shot of the feet of a woman dressed in a red suit, walking away from the camera, as she arrives at a double door. Fade into next scene. Director Mr. Carrière´s office door is opened and he gets up to welcome her)

Mr. Carrière: Good morning Mrs. Shepard. It a pleasure to see you, you look so stunning…(holding her hand)
Sue Ellen (smiling): “Merci beaucoup”, “monsieur” Carrière. I hope you received my transfer correctly.
Sr. C.: “Mais oui”, Mrs. Shepard. The clinic board will thank you forever. So tell me, what can we do for you now?
S.E. (looking around, as she watches the expensive impressionist paintings hanging on the walls): Well, Mr. Carrière, I´ve flown from Dallas to have a nice good talk with you. I rely on you finding the right answers to all my questions…(final smile and freeze frame)

End of Episode 24
and End of Season 4

(The song “Time Stood Still” by Madonna begins to play as the credit titles roll)

“Despair, regret, and tenderness
Is what I feel for you
I loved you from the very start
What else could I do
You read my mind, you made me cry
Time stood still
And now I know the reasons why
Time stood still
Maybe you're the next best thing to happen
All the things we might have been
A flame becomes a fading light
That burns inside my heart
And like a castle in the sand
It had to fall apart
You made me laugh, you gave me hope
It's over now
Our happiness went up in smoke
It's over now”

@Karin Schill, Thanks a lot for your feedback again (I can read a challenge in your words?).

No, I didn't think of it as a challenge. I was just making an observation.

Yes I liked it very much. It was surprising to see Ben appear. But it was nice since the twins did think of him as their father when they were toddlers. So it's only natural that they felt the loss when he abandoned them.

Speaking of Knots though, I've caught up again and well the last I saw on Knots was Olivia being married to Harold. So all her talk about being an old spinster didn't ring true to me at all since she was almost a child bride getting married at the age of 18. Have you forgotten about that when you wrote it or did you imagine that her marriage didn't last?

Either way she'd never be an old maid. But yes I did like that she made an appearance and visited Gary. They always had a good relationship and he became a father figure to Olivia and Brian after their own dad weren't able to see them anymore.

PS: The episodes title is a reference to one of Elvis Presley´s least known songs, "Forget Me Never". It is a nod to you know who, of course...

Yes I did notice that it was an Elvis song. It's sort of funny how you make a nod to Elvis & Priscilla and yet you never liked Jenna on Dallas!

I've caught up again. I am curious as to where you are taking the Lucas plot now when he's met Ray and Bobby knows who he is.

I am glad that Sue Ellen got together with Dusty. He was always one of her more likable lovers on the show.

Good riddance of Madeline. She was really annoying. Glad they didn't succeed in killing Julian though. We can't get rid of the eye candy now, can we? ;)

Sounds good that Christopher soon will be able to return. I bet Bobby and Pam are happy about that. I wonder if he will clash with Lucas?

Also poor Ellie finding out that JR was her real father. I hope Debra Lynn won't be able to take Jimmy away from Cally and James. They do make a cute family. Any chance they'll add a third child to their family?

I hope Val and Gary works things out. They belong together.

So you are not challenging me? I´m so disappointed... :dance1:
Actually I couldn´t forget about Olirold if I wanted to, because I´m re-watching Season 11 right now... I think Olivia and Harold could become so dependent on each other that they had the potential to become another Gary-Val couple, but I wouldn´t give them one year as a married couple. I will write about it in my new fanfic because Olivia is living alone as Lucy´s new neighbor (or in reverse). I can see her as an old "spinster" in the sense that she would never settle down for a (any) man after her mother´s many marriages, nor live as a quiet happy woman by herself. It´s interesting thinking about her future though!
Thanks again for getting all the "nods". There are a few in every episode, and there was a huge nod to Susan Sarandon´s roles (and real name!) in Madeleine´s last episode.
Of course we can´t get rid of eye candy! Anyway my story will never be about the peripheral characters as TNT Dallas. But right now I´m thinking about writing in a brother of Julian´s even hotter! (Lol)

All in all I´m very glad you are writing your likes and dislikes (don´t hesitate to point out more dislikes). And if a character like Madeleine (or Shania!) pisses you off and makes you be happy for their dismissal, then I must have done something good here! Please keep your feedback coming! It´s very much appreciated @Karin Schill!

Karin, I don´t forget it at all. I enjoy reading them very much but I´m a slow-reader when I have to look at a screen, small or medium. I´m reading both of them at my own pacing.

Anyway, I can tell you already that I love your writing style. It´s very true to the characters and the original storylines. I find very refreshing and rich that your choice of developing the personalities using a more introspective style, and giving them a feminine approach, even with the men. I think that you give a new life to them, and the fact that you consider canon even the TNT show, and respect all of it so much, makes me feel like I myself am writing "pulp fiction" (whatever that is...). As I told you once, I read very few fanfics, because I always find them very superior to my writings.

I will post my feedback post by post because I feel it is important to you, and I want to encourage you to keep on writing and, well, I hope I can get better by reading you more often. It´s been a hard couple of years to me, and I even neglected my videos despite an increasing interest from the YouTube Dallas fans. So keep the Dallas dream alive. It´s safe with you Karin!

Great episodes @Toni
I love your stories, I love how you write them like a TV script.
I love how you combine Dallas, Knots Landing and Falcon Crest in your stories.
I don’t like Mandy of Shania, I can’t wait until Sue Ellen finds out the whole truth about them. She already is suspicious.
I like that Sue Ellen and Dusty are reunited , I hope things work out for them.
I can’t wait for Lucas and Bobby to see each other and how they will react to each other.
John Ross is so much like his Dad. He sleeps with Olivia knowing he wanted Andrea.
I like the Olivia and Gary parts. I hope Gary and Valene get back together.
I love Pam in your story too, I like that Sue Ellen and Pam are close friends.
I like Lucy, Ray, Donna Margaret and the other characters too.
Your videos are great, you put a lot of work into your episodes. ❤️❤️
