Episode 24:
PRESENT IMPERFECT
SC.1: EXT. (FLASHBACK). – FORMER EWING BUILDING SQUARE
(Subtitle: 6 months ago)
John Ross (John Ross is walking up and down as he talks on the cell phone): Yes, I know that we´re just two paid executives James, but I can´t forget who my father was. Especially now, with that traitor Pamela selling her Mama´s company to some strangers…I´ll never forgive her for this. You know how hard we have been working for raising up our own company. Yes, we got the money Daddy left us but that´s not enough. We must do something drastic!…Well, I gotta leave you now James. Bye. (James stops to hang up the cell and, suddenly, a fancy car parks in front of the building and a woman in her thirties gets out of the car, elegantly, wearing a classy but sexy executive dress. He stares at her and then, the action happens in slow motion. The woman is carrying a suitcase and doesn´t notice John Ross. But he has noticed something and somebody…He runs towards the woman and pushes her down, a shot is heard and then they roll behind a red statue in the middle of the street. John Ross touches his arm: he has been shot)
Woman: Are you alright? (The policemen arrive and some people point at a corner of the building. Somebody seems to have shot from there and has ran away…)
John Ross: Yes, it just passed by. I´m sorry about the suit. It was new.
Woman: Please send me the bill. I´m very thankful but I have a business meeting now. Glad to meet you, I am Andrea. (She hands him a business card)
John Ross: And I am John Ross…(She goes into the building followed by the security men from the building and a couple of policemen) Hope to see you again…
SC.2a: INT. - SUE ELLEN´S MANOR, IN TURTLE CREEK, DALLAS
(Subtitle: Present. Establishing shot of the manor. Close-up of Dusty as he wakes up. He then hears the shower´s running water. Dusty smiles and gets up. His close-up continues until he opens the shower door and Sue Ellen turns around)
SUE ELLEN (slightly surprised but smiling): Good morning…
DUSTY: It came to my mind that you might want to have some company…
S.E. (smiling slyly): Can you read my mind now? (They kiss passionately Ander the shower water. Fade out to next scene)
SC.2b: EXT. - SUE ELLEN´S MANOR
(General shot of S.E. and Dusty as they have breakfast at the manor terrace)
Dusty: You know, those kids of James´s and Cally´s have a lot of temper, especially the boy.
S.E.: Oh yes, Jimmy reminds me more and more to his grandpa J.R. By the way, did you know that the girl Ellie, actually is my dear deceased husband J.R.´s natural daughter?
D.: Seriously? Isn´t hard to you to share your daily life with Cally and her daughter knowing their links with J.R.?
S.E.: In fact, it isn´t. I admire Cally for having survived to a marriage with J.R. and having educated the girl far away from Dallas. They lived in Florida for a long time since her second marriage failed and Cally decided to come back to Dallas…Who knows if she considered the Ewings as her only family, after all. Upon she told me, she didn´t get along with her Haleyville brothers. Then she re-encountered James and, as far as I know, sparks flew between them. And no, nothing had happened between them when J.R. was alive…
D.: Are you happy to share your life with such a family as James´s, although John Ross doesn´t live with you any more?
S.E.: John Ross…he´s a challenge. Always changing his goals and his state of mind. So different from his daddy, and so likely though. He also dreams of being the master of Dallas and vindicate his daddy´s name among the oil barons.
D.: I am so proud you want to share with me your new life, though I guess you wouldn´t like to leave it for anything at all…
S.E.: You´re right about one thing: I wouldn´t like to leave them for anything. They give me a balance I didn´t have before going back to Dallas, while John Ross was studying in an English private school. But I do would love to share with you this life, day by day…
D. (smiling shyly): What are you trying to mean, Sue Ellen?
S.E.: I would become the happiest woman in the world if you moved in here with us…I´d love to make up for all the time I spent at Southern Cross…and for abandoning you. That was very unfair to you and one of the biggest mistakes I´ve made in my life.
D.: We were under a big deal of pressure…above all, from J.R. You know I never stopped loving you, Sue Ellen…
S.E.: Let´s start over. No thinking of the negative things of our past. Only you and me, and my noisy “adoptive” family…No marriage contracts either.
D.: Yes, I do… (kissing her several times tenderly. All of sudden, the house wireless phone rings and Sue Ellen hangs it up)
S.E.: Hello, this is Sue Ellen Shepard…
PAM: Hi Sue Ellen, I´m Pamela. How are you?
S.E.: Pamela, what a surprise!
P.: We returned a couple of days ago but I couldn´t call you till now. By the way, a fire happened in Southfork…
S.E.: What, ANOTHER fire? (alarmed)
P.: Oh, forgive me, Sue Ellen. I meant that the fire happened in the next-door ranch, the one that once belonged to Jenna Wade´s father. But all is under control, except for some horses that ran away because of the fire…Bobby and Ray are helping to find them.
S.E.: Wow, I had a “déjà vu” for a moment, just remembering the ´82 fire.
P.: I´m sorry…Shall we have lunch together, let´s say at one o´clock, at “Les Saisons”? I have a lot of things to tell you…
S.E.: All right…(Dusty points at himself) Oh, and Dusty says hello to you…
P. (hanging down): Well well. I see that she also has good news to give…(grinning from ear to ear)
SC.3: INT - QUORUM HOTEL (ROOM WHERE OLIVIA IS STAYING AT)
(John Ross wakes up alone and checks out the time in his watch, laid over the night table. Olivia gets out of the bath-room after having had a shower)
JOHN ROSS (while getting dressed): Sorry but I´m in a big hurry. I had an important meeting at 9 o´clock and look what time it is.
OLIVIA (sitting on the bed): I just thought that you might have breakfast with me. Actually I had ordered my favorite dishes. They make some great “eggs Benedict” here. But we could skip the meal…(letting her towel fall)
J.R. (watching her beautiful naked body): Hum…Olivia…We gotta talk. I spent a real good time with you, but I think we shouldn´t see each other again. We´re half-cousins after all…
O. (pissed off): What? But that didn´t stop you the first time, right? Neither the second time…You know very well that Gary is NOT my real father.
J.R. (tying his tie in front of the bath-room mirror): Well honey, call me whenever you came back to Dallas, and maybe we could meet if I´m not too busy…(looking for his watch) Where the hell is my watch?
O. (angry): Take your damned watch! (picking it up and throwing it away onto his face) You´re worse than your daddy, John Ross.
J.R.: And you´re hysterical. I´m looking for a steady relationship, with a gorgeous woman who can become my wife and be treated on an equal basis.
O.: After all the staff I confessed to you about my addiction…
J.R.: Bye-bye Olivia. And keep your stepdaughter Lucy so you won´t end up like her…(he opens the door and goes away. Olivia walks up and down through the bed-room and eventually, she picks up a cigarette pack from her purse and lights one up)
O.: Oh shit…I chose a bad day to stop smoking…
SC.4: INT. – CALLAWAY RANCH, IN BRADDOCK
(Molly is holding with her hands a smoke-blackened photo album. Suddenly, she hears somebody coming: it´s Bob and Ray)
MOLLY: Hi boys. Anything new ´bout the horses?
BOB: Molly…Yep, we got five of them back, but your foreman is still missing three thoroughbreds…
M.: Be damned…Those were my husband´s favorite ones.
B.: How is he doing?
M.: He´s being tested by several doctors. He´s connected to artificial respiration, though he´s awake…that´s the main thing. He was diagnosed a lung cancer a couple of years ago and he kept smoking despite of it. And now this…Don´t know what will ever happen to him…nor me (her voice weakens).
RAY: Molly, you can count on us, Donna and I, for whatever you need. Just call us…
B.: Ray is true. You´re not just neighbors, you´re part of our family. Such a misfortune should proof that. Pamela, Donna and Barbara also volunteered to help ya in whatever they can.
M.: (crying and holding Bob´s hand): Bob, you´re both very kind, please giv´em thanks from me. There´s something else…
B.: What is it?
M.: The sheriff came to question me about our gardener, you know, that guy I gotta fire…
B.: You mean Joel?
M.: Yep, well, that isn´t his real name, but it isn´t the point. Upon the sheriff, he might have something to do with the fire start. I had him fired that day and he used to smoke a lot, almost as much as my husband. Also, they found empty beer cans and some of his belongings floating at the pool…
R.: I didn´t know he was causin´ you trouble, Molly. I talked to him once and he didn´t seemed to be that kind of boy.
B.: Ain´t you hinting that the sheriff thinks that the boy caused the fire?
M.: Partly I am. I do not think so myself. In fact, we´re expecting the old man to be able to talk quietly and know more about the subject…
R.: There ´ve been cases of vandalism and horse stealin´ in this area lately. Hope he had nothing to do with that.
M.: Me too. Though I´ve lost some things forever… (looking at the old family album as she wipes her tears away)
SC.5: INT. – SHANIA´S APARTMENT, IN DALLAS
(Shania arrives at her apartment carrying a couple of bags and, once she put them on her bed, she sits on her sofa and turns the television on. She gets up a minute later and opens the fridge, and pours her a glass of cold orange juice. The television show host introduces a guest specialized in gossip news and Shania reaches for the remote to turn it off, until she hears the following comment)
GUEST: One of the 80´s most alluring Dallas Top Models, whose initials are M.W., has just revealed to the mag “Dallas Hush” that her long relationship with a big, big local oil baron produced a long-lost daughter who remained unknown until now. And why? Let´s say that our sources have been compassive with the mysteriously deceased oil baron´s ex wife, since the latter, a former Miss Texas, was a helpless alcoholic who had often left her baby and kept a few affairs with a number of men. If we add that the oil baron and she had married and divorced twice, I´m sure that you can find out who we´re talking about. The aforementioned Top Model is in the middle of legal Works to claim for the inheritance that belongs to her daughter, as one of the heirs of the oil empire. We will keep you updated here, as usually (Shania takes the remote and turns off the television set, her face looking angry. After that, she opens one of her wardrobe doors and takes out of a shoe box a gun with a silencer…She carries it and looks at her mother Mandy´s photo, over the dressing table…Fade Out and End of Act One)
SC.6: INT. – RESTAURANT “LES SAISONS”, IN DALLAS
(Pam and Sue Ellen walk up to the booked table and they sit down, as they smile at each other. The waiter gives the “carte” to them and they both ask for a bottle of “Perrier” water with a slice of lemon in it. Once alone, they begin their chat)
S.E.: Oh Pam, you know that you can drink alcohol in front of me…
P.: Yes, of course I do. I really need that after the exotic meals we had at all those countries.
S.E.: So tell me, where did your tour around the world take you? And don´t say that to Scandinavia, because you sent me a postcard from New Zealand…
P.: True, I have very good news though they´re not official yet…
S.E.: Anything to do with Christopher?
P. (surprised): How did you know?
S.E.: Easy: your face looked radiant as you were saying it…
P.: Yes indeed, soon, really soon, we will have Christopher with us again…
S.E.: What about his girlfriend Jane?
P.: They got married in a very intimate ceremony and they are very happy, aside of collaborating with each other at work. Thanks to Jane´s dad we could learn that the last member of the group goin´ after Christopher had just been sentenced to a life imprisonment. Therefore, they have started the procedures for the Witness Protection Program to re-introduce them in the country without any sort of risk and using their true identity.
S.E.: Oh that´s great Pam! I am so glad for you…and Bob.
P.: Now tell me about Dusty and you. His problems are worked out now, aren´t they?
S.E.: Yeah, he´s a new man, and honestly Pam, he makes me think a lot about the man I met at that Southfork Rodeo…
P. (laughing): Sue Ellen, I´m amazed to see you so happy after the latest incidents…
S.E. (she suddenly looks straight): Well, not everything´s goin´ fine. I´m still determined to find out what happened the day of my accidental overdose. I turned to Dr. Chow as you advised me to…
P.: Yes, I worried about your phone message.
S.E.: Also, I´ve begun to notice Mandy Winger´s presence in my life again, and very often, and I can´t help but feeling that anger against her. Well, back to what I was saying, the doctor submitted me to hypnosis, and actually, I…
P. (impatient): Yes, Sue Ellen?
S.E.: …I didn´t remember anything about that night at all, save for two mysterious hands that kept on giving me pills and vodka glasses. I can´t even remember if they belonged to a man or a woman…I can´t help thinking that somebody, out there, wants me dead… (Pam is pensive and concerned, and gets her hand closer to her friend´s over the table)
SC.7: EXT. – “LOVE FIELD” DALLAS AIRPORT
(Gary and Olivia have just checked in her baggage and now they are listening for the P.A. announcement regarding to her return flight to San Francisco)
Olivia: I´ve been missing you so much, Gary. I whish you spent some time with me in San Francisco, I could show you the best places in town and you´d switch off from the problems…
Gary: You sound strange, I thought you´d like me to make up with Valene.
O.: Of course I do, but I can´t work out your lives. Nor I can, being thirtysomething, go on with my romantic idea of relationships. I end up depending on men as much as I used to depend on drugs.
G.: Maybe you´re right and I should pay you a visit…What´s your advice about Val?
O.: Be true. At 100%. Don´t feel hurt in your pride because two little hoods came up and force you to transfer a business to them. I think it’s disgusting what they did to you, but lying to Val was wrong. You went through a big lot of things together, since you´re fifteen. What do you think that she would feel like if she knew all that? Maybe you´re not the good ol´Gary anymore? You had trouble with violent people before, like those con men who caused Sid Fairgate´s death. And you got ahead. You even survived my mum Abby. You´re not just one of the Ewing boys. Now that J.R. is gone, you´re the eldest, and nothing, nobody can change the fact that you´re a strong, powerful, brave man, and appealing for your age too…
G.: Hey, I´m not THAT old!
O.: I know, I know, was kiddin´…Come on, think about comin´ to see me. But first take in account that Val deserves to know what you were subjected to. What about it?
G.: Sometimes I really don´t know how you could ever become such a lady, after having bad influences in certain moments of you life…(looking away).
O. (holding him tightly): Come here, you grumpy man…(Gary kiss her check before they stop their embrace). I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Please say good-bye to Lucy and the others.
G.: Love ya baby.
O.: Me too. See ya soon (Gary watches Olivia walk away from him and can´t help pouring one little tear).
SC.8: INT. – RESTAURANT “LES SAISONS”
(Pam and Sue Ellen are finishing their lunch, and go on talking)
P.: How´s been Shania during my absence?
S.E.: Well. I´ve tried to make her feel like family to help her overcome her past once and for all, and I think that she made it. Besides, I gave her 50% of the magazine shares, by contract.
P.: Oh.
S.E.: I´m convinced that she´ll be able to give the best of herself this way, so she can collaborate with you in the revamping of the mag, and also fulfill herself privately.
P.: Do you know if she´s dating someone?
S.E.: No, as far as I know. Pamela, let me tell you that I have decided to sell my own 50%. I mean, give it to you. For old times´ sake…
P.: That´s a real surprise, I don´t know what to say. I suppose that everything will go fine with Shania, although I don´t know her as well as you do. You know that, if it depends on me, I´m willing to go back at work. Tomorrow, if that´s OK for you. About the new look for the magazine, I agreed with you before leaving and I still am. The potential male public must be included, not only women.
S.E.: I want to have more spare time to devote to Dusty and the kids. Maybe we´ll go on a trip too, he and me. John Ross has become so independent since he inherited J.R.´s fortune that I hardly see him, and Cally is dedicated to their children and her photo hobby since she sold out her art galleries. James is such a wonderful dad, I never thought that a son of J.R.´s could be a good husband and father.
P.: Sue Ellen, do not forget that you got us at Southfork. You´re an important part of our family. And I´m not speaking for me and Bobby only, but also for Ray and Donna, Gary and Val, and Barbara and Julian.
S.E.: What a shocking end Madeleine had…I read it on the newspapers online. When I think that Southfork almost end up belonging to that woman forever…
P.: Yeah, that´s a nightmarish idea…(The maître d´ brings the dessert list to them)
François: Would you like to see the dessert list, Mrs. Ewing?
P. & S.E. (at once): No thanks! (They both laugh out loudly)
S.E.: Maybe next time, François…
SC.9: INT. – BARBARA´S BED-ROOM, IN SOUTHFORK
(That night, Barbara and Julian sleep in their bed. She begins to shake her head nervously and Julian wakes up. She looks at her sweaty face and, at last, Barbara wakes up, anguished)
Julian: Are you ok, darling?
Barbara (gasping for breath): Julian…How lucky to have you by my side…
J.: You know I am. Have you had another bad dream?
B.: Yeah…about here again. Madeleine. I was chasing her with my car and I was the one who fell into the river and drawn…I tried to get out of there but couldn´t do anything…and a self-satisfied Madeleine was watching me from the bridge…
J.: It´s just a nightmare, sweetheart. They´ll be over soon. It´s a matter of time. I told you shouldn´t have asked to see her corpse…
B.: That face…I can´t stop seeing her when I close my eyes. She´s sort of tormenting me from beyond death…(Julian holds her tenderly and kisses her cheek as he caresses her arm)
J.: Everything will be different when we leave on our holidays to Europe. Trust me…(Zoom into Barbara´s concerned face. Fade Out and End of Act Two)
SC.10: EXT. – FORMER EWING BUILDING SQUARE
(The start of the flashback scene with JOHN ROSS and ANDREA is re-played)
The woman is carrying a suitcase and doesn´t notice John Ross…Suddenly, a shot is heard and John Ross watches the attractive woman being gunned down)
J.R. (Waking up in the middle of the night): No…! (He looks around and his mind goes back to reality. (Fade into a shot of the young man in the shower and then, once dressed with a short and trousers, he takes his cell and dials a number)
Answering-machine: Hello, we´re Cally and James. If we don´t hang up the phone, our children must be playing pranks. Please leave a message and we´ll call you when everything gets back to normal. See you soon…(a bleep sounds) Hello big brother. I know you´re not gonna hang up because it´s really early morning…Wanna talk to you. Call me and we´ll set the time and place. Thanks…(A pensive John Ross hangs down and looks ahead)
SC.11: INT. –BARNES RANCH
(Molly parks her car and gets out of it, and walks towards the house main door and rings the bell)
Afton: Yes?
Molly: Hello, my name is Molly Callaway, the neighbor of the Ewings of Southfork…
A.: Oh yeah, I´m sorry, we met at one barbecue party. I´m really sorry about your house fire…
M.: Thanks, you´re so kind. Is your husband at home?
A.: Cliff? Oh sure. He´s playing with our grandson at the back patio. Come in…
M.: OK…(Afton opens the door all the way and she openly smiles at her. Then they both walk out to the patio and Cliff stares at them, surprised to see Molly)
A.: Darlin´, here´s Molly, she´s come to see ya…
Cliff (rasing his eyebrows exaggeratedly): Hi Molly. How´s your husband?
M.: Good… (subtly looking at Afton)
A.: Well, I think I should change this little boy´s diaper…Glad to see ya.
M.: Me too. (Afton walks into the house and Cliff stands up)
C.: I thought your husband was in hospital.
M.: Actually, he is. But he doesn´t people talk about his health. Until this morning, he couldn´t talk fluently. His artificial respiration is off and he told me about some things that happened at the fire evening…
C.: So?
M. (taking an envelope out of her purse): This is for you Cliff. Think you might be interested in it (the song “Out of my Hands” by Dave Matthews Band begins to play):
“Out on my window ledge
I don't feel safe
And I stay
Looking down on you
It's out of my hands for now
It's out of my hands for now
I can't just walk away
Be nice to walk away
But I don't feel safe
Get away, all the way up here
Its out of my hands for now
Its out of my hands for now”
C. (he opens it and finds a driver´s license and a photo of her daughter Beckie´s, probably taken the previous year): Hey, this is my daughter and he is, this is…your gardener, right? Where did you get this? It looked as if you rescued it from the fire, and about this license, I´d say it´s faker than a blue dollar…
M.: Bingo. The truth is that my husband said that he woke up that evening, when he smelled burnt at home. But he fell down and couldn´t get up. Without Joel´s help, he couldn´t have got out of there alive and well. It seems that he helped to walk by the pool and then he went back in to try to save his stuff. Afterwards, the firemen came and Joel vanished. The sheriff thought that the kid might have had something to do with the fire, but we weren´t able to find´m. Cliff, I know you had some good reason to keep him far and away, but it came to my mind that maybe you knew something about´m and help me to find´m.
C.: I´m very sorry Molly. I´m glad a tragedy didn´t happen, but that young man can´t live back at Braddock or Dallas again, as far as I concern. It´s a family matter, I just can´t tell you but that´s the way things are…
M. (looking disappointed): All right Cliff. I understand your decision, but if the sheriff or the police questions me about it again, I´m gonna say all I know. It´s a family matter for me too (Afton looks through one of the house windows, drawing a curtain, as she watches them discreetly with a serious expression in her eyes).
SC.12: INT. – STRIPTEASE-CLUB, IN DALLAS
(A bartender fills up a cocktail glass and serves it to the person sitting in front of him. We see a woman´s hand, with long, fuchsia pink-painted nails, which picks up the glass and takes it up to her lips. The woman´s face belongs to Mandy Winger…)
MANDY: Thank you sweetie. It tastes amazing, as usual… (On the stage, a few models walk up and down wearing little gowns, mini-shirts or sexy lingerie…Suddenly, Beth shows up in a tight nightgown with a mini-shirt. Mandy starts speaking to the bartender): Excuse me darlin´…What´s the name of that girl in the nightgown? I´d never seen her around…(He puts a 100-dollar folded note under his hand)
Bartender: That´s one the boss´s latter acquisitions. The babe is called Beth…Clements, I think. She´s got a reputation for being tough and doing her own way.
M.: Will you introduce each other when her number?
C.: Sure honey… (The spotlights focus on the girls, one by one, and finally the place remains in the dark for a minute. After that, the usual lights are re-established. Some moments later, Beth comes up dressing casual, and walks by the bar)
Beth: Hi Brian. Will you please give me the usual drink?
C.: Right now…Ah, here´s someone who wants to meet ya…
B. (turning to Mandy): Oh really…Who is it?
M. (standing up to shake her hand): Hello Beth. My name is Mandy Winger and I am the director of a modeling agency. I was just wondering if you´d like to attend a Greek Islands cruise next week. There´ll be a loto of top designers and photographers, and talent seekers too…Do you have your book?
B.: Course, well, not exactly…No, but I could get one just like that.
M.: Don´t worry, you won´t need it this time. We would pay for all the expenses and you´d probably get back to Dallas with several catwalk model contracts in your purse…
B.: It sounds great…I´ve wanted to get this town out of my sight…and never been at the Greek Islands…When do you need an answer?
M.: As soon as possible dear. There´s only one vacancy for a girl and you meet every requirement. We would be leaving to Athens tomorrow, and we´d sign the contracts there and finish your book arrangements. (Holding out her hand to her) Is it a deal?
B. (Holding her hand): All right, it´s a deal…
M.: Welcome to the fascinating world of international Top Models…
SC.13: INT. – SOUTHFORK RANCH STABLES
(American shot of John Ross and James walking, followed by their horses)
James: I haven´t come here for awhile…What´s your problem, John Ross?
John Ross: Why do you think I´ve got a problem?
J.: Well, because you called me early in the morning and you left me a message to meet as soon as possible.
J.R.: I´ve gotta ask for some advise but please understand it well, no misunderstanding. It´s about a woman…
J.: Wow, I´m very glad for ya…
J.R.: Wait, don´t rush…I´ve been having nightmares regarding her lately, and I don´t know how to interpret them. I just…wanna be with her, more and more every day…
J.: And what does she feel about ya?
J.R.: We´ve had lunch a couple of times, but we didn´t…sleep together.
J.: …And you want her.
J.R.: Sure I do, but I wanna be sure I´m not gonna ruin everything…
J.: Be yourself, John Ross, and be true to her. It´s the only thing I can tell ya.
If you like her, don´t hesitate and go for her…
J.R.: Thanks brother. Will you take my horse back at the stables?
J.: Of course (smiling and moving his head from side to side).
SC.15: EXT. – STREETS OF DALLAS
(Pam and Afton walk as the first pushes the stroller with Maggie´s baby in it)
P.: When is Maggie coming home?
A.: Next week, on time for the Oil Barons´ Ball…She is very happy to attend for the first time. But she had to go to Biloxi to pick up the last things she had there.
P.: I know what she must be feeling like. I felt the same way in 1982, the first time Bobby took me there…It was very moving to listen to Miss Ellie´s speech accepting Jock´s death publicly…
A.: Poor Jock…Sometimes I remember the day they left to Paris and I sang the song “C´est magnifique” for them at Southfork…
P.: Changing of subject, little John is getting bigger and bigger…
A.: Yes, partly that´s why we´ve come to this store right here, to exchange one of his pajamas…(pointing at left). Shall we get in?
P.: No, Afton. If you don´t mind, I´ll stay with the baby around here, this fresh wind is lightening the summer heat…
A.: All right, but don´t go away, eh? (Pam begins to speak to the baby, using his rattle to call his attention. Suddenly, Pam stands up and a car stops by a few meters away. Two women get out of it, one of them is Mandy Winger, and the other one is Shania. Pam gets quite a shock to realize the physical resemblance between them, by the first time. Then she tries to hide away and gets into the store where Afton is exchanging the baby´s clothes. Fade Out and End of Act Three)
