Vanity Fair has an interesting article titled "Inside Trump's War with the FBI" which has a few doozies. It mainly focuses on the pissed off FBI agents' reaction to the manner in which Comey was dismissed, but states the investigations are not going away and there are actually several probes on top of the collusion with Russia, including looking into whether there was filthy Russian money laundering. That confirms what I've been seeing on social media for weeks. And guess who was also looking into those filthy Trump ties before they got fired one month ago? Preet Bharara and the Southern District. http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/05/trumps-coming-war-with-the-fbi So, we're seeing a clear pattern here. Days after the inauguration, on Tuesday January 24th, The FBI interviews General Flynn. The next day Sally Yates learns about his "improper underlying conduct" and warns the White House on Thursday. Trump immediately invites Comey over for dinner to ask if he's under investigation and ask for loyalty. By Monday January 30th, Yates is fired, supposedly because of the travel ban. Preet Bharara was then looking into Trump's Russian money laundering and then Bharara got fired. Finally, Comey refuses to back Trump's wiretapping lies and announces publicly the investigation into collusion, says in another public hearing last week that the investigation continues and when asked about evidence says it's classified and can't discuss it and does not clear Trump, Trump gets mad and panics and then Comey gets fired. Yates, Bharara, Comey - all fired. Yes, the corruption is staggering, but I just can't see how this massive and increasingly transparent charade will be sustainable for another 4-8 years. It has to collapse. It simply has to. Will they find scapegoats? Will they attack another country to deflect? We'll see. But this can't end well for these criminals.
