Others have stated that Dallas TNT gave Pam a dignified ending, far better than the mess left by Lorimar Dallas. I really wish Cynthia Cidre would do a sit down interview and explain where she was taking the story of Pam. She wrote the episode, "JR's Masterpiece" and I'm curious why she would think to add the scene where Bum informs Bobby, Christopher and John Ross that JR was in Abu Dhabi closing an oil deal however for the last several months he was looking for Pam. The reaction on Bobby's face was priceless and I might add the hairs on my arms prickled upon hearing the name. Was it Cynthia's idea all along that Pam had died and brother Cliff had kept it a secret for all those years? Or was something else going to happen? Just curious.</blockquote>
