Before I get to the point of this post, I feel the need to write a disclaimer. First off, I'm not a fan of greedy billionaires like Elon Musk. When Bernie Sanders sent out a sensible tweet stating "We must demand that the extremely wealthy pay their fair share. Period.", Musk responded with "I keep forgetting that you're still alive." Granted, Bernie was virtue signaling knowing full well the Democrats he backs and the President he disingenuously refers to as "the next FDR" won't tax the extremely wealthy, but that's beside the point. The fact is Musk clearly has a problem with the mere idea that the wealthy should pay higher taxes. Musk also tweeted "We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it!" when someone mentioned that the US organized a coup in Bolivia so Musk could obtain the lithium there. To summarize, Musk is your stereotypical awful billionaire. That being said, I do support his attempt to restore free speech on Twitter. The irony is that liberals have a history of accusing conservatives of being pro-censorship. And while there are many examples of that being true, it is the woke liberals who are now pro-censorship when it comes to social media. Many of them are even decrying the idea of a billionaire trying to buy a tech company. Um, who do they think owns these companies in the first place?
