Game On is a 3 seasons UK comedy that I deeply love.
The fun part (well, for me) is that I started watching on a french cable channel (at the time) in original uk language, and I started the show with season 2. Which is - imo- the best way to love the 3 seasons.
I will explain why :
The show has 3 main characters, two young men (Matthew & Martin) and a young woman (Mandy)
The actor playing Matthew (Ben Chaplin) left the show for Hollywood projects. The character was recasted by a very different actor : Neil Stuke (very different look, voice and acting). Almost all watchers didn't like the recast as much as the original. And it was difficult for them to accept this new Matthew. Lucky I was to start the show with the new Matthew. I loved him so much, he was so fun, so ridiculous... When I watched season 1 for the first time, I was surprised how different the first Matthew was : darker, meaner, and better looking. So I enjoyed the ride too! I am almost sure that if I had started with season 1, it would have been very hard for me to enjoy the new actor. But I did not, so I enjoy both actors equally.

I love the post ending scene, when the actors kinda break the fourth wall, mentioning how much it sucks when they change the actor but keep the same character
