It was never going to work - ultimately, US is more dependent on other countries for import than other countries are singularly dependent on them. Add that the industries were never going to move back to America (if that was ever the plan) since I doubt the average Joe would want to work three low-wage jobs and 12 hour shifts to make ends meet. But this Elon vs Trump thing is at least amusing. It's produced quality meme material at least.</blockquote>
