I think people based what believed on their personal interactions with Savile rather than on evidence provided by other people. If they became aware of stories of his abuse they would think the Jimmy Savile they knew wouldn't be capable of doing that. He was clever is establishing personal relationships with the right people to avoid detection.</p></blockquote><p></p>
