I actually really liked Michael Nader as Dex. I think he was the only good thing to come out of season 4, had a great story with the Alexis/Amanda triangle, and I hated when he was under-utilized around season 7. He got some more to do in season 8, and really became the lead male in season 9 by Paulsen. I think Hexum would have been great eye candy for sure, like Rambo on Dallas, but I think Nader brought a lot more to the role than just sex appeal. Plus, I found Nader's voice irresistible.</p></blockquote><p></p>
