I used to follow her life through the media since I was 12 years old until her untimely death. I was 17 years old when she died and her death shocked me deeply. I felt like I had lost a friend even though I had never even met her. This song came to me in the wake of her death. It was a way for me to rechannel my grief and to express how I felt about Princess Diana.  I wrote it a couple of days after she had passed. There are some verses from it written in my diary. Maybe it was meant to be a poem at first but then more lyrics and music came to me.  I wrote down the notes to the melody while sitting by the piano. A couple of months later in the spring I asked my first piano teacher/choir leader if he could have a look at my song. So we went through the song I had written together and he helped me correct some of the notes. He also made an instrumental recording of the song for me that I could sing to.I have never really performed this song in public so I have not really gotten any reactions on it from people except from my choir leader. He used to ask me whenever I run into him on town several years later if I had written any new songs and he called me a composor which was high praise coming from him who was really musically gifted.<img src="http://yoursmiles.org/msmile/misc/m0719.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":hat:" title="Hat    :hat:" data-shortname=":hat:" />Several years later when I had started to make fan music videos I reached the number 100. I wanted to make my 100th fan music video into something really special so I decided to make a fan music video tribute to Princess Diana using my own song. I think I did a new recording of my voice. It was in 2005. She used her fame to do good. She brougth attention to causes that she cared about. Like banning land mines.  She was beautiful too and young. I loved her sense of humor. Also she had a way of caring about people and loving people. She was compassionate. I think the song I wrote about her really express why I admired her.Elizabeth Taylor because she was a survivor who kept going no matter how tough life got. She always picked herself up and went on with her life. She was a really talented actress. Also she championed AIDS awareness at a time when nobody wanted to talk about the disease. She used her fame to do good too. Also she was glamourous and funny. She was also really passionate about people and things she cared about. She loved animals. She never seemed to lose hope or stop believeing in love even though she got divorced so many times.Are there any films that make you cry?Yes "Titanic" (1997) has made me cry every single time I've watched it! <img src="http://yoursmiles.org/bsmile/sad/b0417.gif"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":sad:" title="Sad    :sad:" data-shortname=":sad:" />I also cried the first time I saw "Ghost" (1990).Some of Elizabeth Taylor's movies has made me cry too. "The Only Game in Town" (1970) made me cry for instance.I also cried at the cinema when watching "Mamma Mia 2" (2018).I am sure there are other movies that has made me cry too. But these are the first ones that comes to mind.</blockquote>
