Keir Stamer is proving himself to be one of the most dishonest politicians around. Not in the same league as Boris Johnson dishonesty but still shockingly bad.

Surely the Labour Party constitution needs to be updated so that if a leader (once elected) does not stand by their leadership pledges some form of recourse is available to the membership.

If free university pledge was a Labour Party manifesto promise, it's subject to change. Political parties manifesto pledges, promises and wishes of.. are not held to the same level of expectation to deliver on their claim as a business would be. Enforcement action can be applied to business's that fail to satisfy their advertised promise.

Political parties are not subjected to enforcement for not delivering their headline grabbing pledges.
