If Edge of Night did shoot outside, then I assume they must've had a feed going back to the studio and couldn't stray far from where they shot the main show.I doubt it's been properly researched which soap first did proper outdoor shoots. Not sure if I'd count the cut-ins on early Dark Shadows since there was no talking in them.</blockquote>
