Those camera perspectives were definitely interesting...for lack of a better word they could compress the picture by clearly bringing the far-away background close-in. That white fence I marked is beyond the bent tree, but looks closer-in on the shot, as do the 2 white-marked trees. Yet they are quite far back. I think that's the perpendicular fence shown in the scene. On the previous post pic you can see how the road bends around that tree. The bent tree behind it is still there, now without a white bottom. =================== On this second pic, the perspective is me standing at the bend in the road. Looks like that first white-bottomed tree was removed as a road hazard. You can see how far down the road that bent tree is. But the scene as filmed makes it look closer. The 'closer' fence below I would assume was built after, unless the perspective is off there also. I know that some Brinkmann ranch locations were used in dvd S2 and maybe S3, like where Bobby and Ray are branding and Bobby says to Pam about "I damned near killed that man". I didn't realize how many early scenes were shot at JMJ that early on. If you look closely tho' at some of the scenes, you do see mountains in the background that just aren't around Dallas.
