She was also disappointed the episodes were live-action and not cartoon.

I&#039;ve always had a fondness for HERE&#039;S LUCY over THE LUCY SHOW. The former series started out strong, but it went down when Vivian Vance left. While I won&#039;t argue that the former necessarily improved on anything, I do like that Lucie and Desi Jr. were around, and it seemed as if Lucille Ball and Gale Gordon had settled into their roles. Maybe it is nostalgia that fuels my favoritism towards HERE&#039;S LUCY.</blockquote>
