I've been through my cd collection (yes, I'm so old that I still own cds) and songs on my old ipod and those currently on my phone and I have collected quite a few Christmas albums over the years. I rarely listen to them now because I've made my own compilation of my favourite 60 Christmas songs which I keep on my phone. 1. Excluding compilation albums, my favourite Christmas album has to be Sufjan Stevens Presents Songs For Christmas. It's a wonderful mix of new songs, some of which are beautifully crafted and others are kind of quirky, and new original twists on traditional carols and contemporary Christmas songs.
