Names that spellcheck doesn't recognise

I'm not sure if the spellcheck feature I'm seeing comes from the forum software or my computer's operating system but it has some surprising omissions.

For instance, it recognises Superman and even Superwoman - but not Supergirl. I see it now underlined I red.

It knows The Beatles (with an 'a') but not The Monkees (with the double-e).

And it wants me to spell Lacey (as in Cagney & Lacey) without the 'e'.
