With A Country Practice, I don't think the fans wanted it back, given it had come to a conclusion. It was Ten trying to stick it to Seven for axing it, thinking they could repeat the success of Neighbours, which Seven also axed. James Davern, whose JNP Productions made it, actually didn't even want to do it at all, but Ten actually begged him. And when they got their hands on it, they turned it into some trashy soap opera with love affairs.
