I adore Xanadu and the soundtrack is one of the best to just put on and relish when doing the housework or cooking. She was absolutely adorable in it too and her partnership with Gene Kelly always has me grinning from ear to ear.Indeed, this is very sad news. I imagine most of the tributes will reference her role in Grease and few will mention her starring role in the film Xanadu (1980) which is a bit of a guilty pleasure. It's not a great film but it's a lot of fun and the soundtrack is excellent. ONJ also had a dance number with Gene Kelly and became his last dance partner in a film.
She did a TV interview a year ago and said that the cancer had spread to her bones and it was heartbreaking to watch. Her long survival over this terrible illness was through positivity and natural medicine, her Guia clinic in Australia was set up, as was her foundation which spent millions on research, help and therapy.i saw this while i was in Target buying a Series X and it popped up on my celly. damn it's a shame but i am simply amazed she even lived as long as she did granted 73 is still to young to die but with Cancer since she's had that off and on since her what 40's? it's amazing we had her as long as we did. that's what 30 years or so she must have been a fighter to outlive Cancer as long as she did. granted they haven't announced it was Cancer but to take a guess i'd say it was.
