It doesn't instantly hit you as a soap. The pilot has that slow build story feeling. It sometimes reminded me of Gilmore Girls although without the comedy. I think the show is going to be very, very character driven which can only be a good thing. It doesn't feel very clichéd soapy, also a very good thing. Every episode doesn't have that cliff hanger ending. I'm guess I'm going to get storylines that take a long while to reach climax and that there will be more pay off.More thoughts later.</blockquote>
