Peter Stavros Before Peter Stavros

Before Peter appeared in Falcon Crest, in a episode in the previous season Angela referred to a friend she was asking for help who had a name similar to Peter Stavros. It was clearly the same character but they changed the name when the he actually appeared in the series.

Does anyone remember the conversation and what the character's original name was? I think it might have been in connection with getting Lance out of the country to evade prosecution after Richard set him up.

Thanks @Jock Og, I've been racking my brain trying to remember the details of the character's name and the circumstances in which it was discussed. I'm sure the character evolved in to Peter Stavros because the similarities were apparent.

I’m sure this was Peter Stavros but I’m also sure Angela could count on a great many friends. She understood the first 3 rules of business: network, network, network.

Peter was a coincidence, it's a very common name.

The name seems like a coincidence, indeed. The season 5 bible, which contains a character bio for the then-to-be-established character Peter Stavros makes no reference to the previous mentioning of Peter Karsas, neither does it state anything about a possible renaming of the previously mentioned character.
