I loved series 1 and thought they got the casting so right

and Mr Turner is simply devine, the Bobby Ewing of the 2010s

and very very HOT

is anyone else a fan of this show, past or present
and so nice to see Original Poldark aka Robin Ellis in it and now the once lovely Bergerac aka John Nettles. I cant wait for more epiosdes.................and for Aidan Turner to take his shirt off once more!!!

I love this series..I missed the first couple of episodes so now I am going to wait until Season 2 is over and binge watch the season.

I first got acquainted with Aiden Turner's chest...I mean Aiden Turner... in the series Being Human, and though the show ended up going off the deep end I always thought he was great in that. I love the subversive way they've "sexed up" Poldark, a story I never thought of as particularly memorable either way. Purists will whine all they want, but it's high time they started doing this sort of thing with men, since they've done the same thing with women for decades.

I just finished season one. It was good, but I found myself wondering why the people of Cornwall spent so much time staring at the sea. Seriously, at least once per episode there's a group of villagers staring pensively out over the breakers. Maybe the director taking advantage of the locations? Nothing wrong with that, of course.

Also, were I a woman who thought my love dead, I believe I would have become a nun before marrying Francis. lol

I've not watched it, but Turner is really gorgeous. I loved him in Being Human also, I started watching that to perv on him then got caught up in it all. I might check this out later on.

I just finished Season 2 and I am loving this show. It's one of the best for me and I am so glad I waited until I could watch the full season on my time.
