Aged 93.
Wonderful, of course, in Fawlty Towers and After Henry, but a fine actress all round. A Question Of Attribution is on my viewing bucket list, and I have Doris and Doreen on the shelf upstairs waiting for me to watch it (with co-star Patricia Routledge who died just weeks ago).
It's less than a year since Timothy West died, and I'm sure life has been very difficult for the family since then. Dementia is such a cruel illness. It's touching to read that she was watching Fawlty Towers episodes the day before she died.
