I totally accept what you say about her stepping into the role out of duty and executing it in a manner that has brought her many admirers worldwide. When you consider that an unfortunate twist of fate could have left us with a  monarch who was a suspect pedophile or a a nazi sympathiser, or the adulterer we now have, in many ways we were lucky the job fell to her and that she was able to hold on to it for so long.</blockquote>
