Message: <blockquote data-quote="darkshadows38" data-source="post: 279816" data-attributes="member: 19">it's amazing how some old books from say the 60's you can still read and have no issues with them, than there's one like an old Laurel & Hardy book i bought a few years back from (1967) and that thing reeks it's from the age of the book and i can't look through it very long without getting a headache.  but i have books from around the same time and i have no issues like that it's just that one i own that's like that,so i also will add that books that age some of them depending how old they get they can get a certain smell that can give you headaches.  there's plenty of old books out there if you keep them nice can still get that smell once it gets old enough.  i dunno if the person who owned that book kept it someplace i got it at Half Price books when i got mine.</blockquote>
