I can imagine Alexis lobbing the heads off Barbies while Fallon was at school. Then blaming Kirby.

It's just my gut feeling but I don't believe this character will be around much longer
I think they'll keep her because she fits into the younger generation dynamics. The classic soaps had plenty of these characters "just being available" for some kind of romance or affaire.
Well there's the Colby kids of course but apparently they still don't know what to do with them.
When Dominique arrives she's going to find out that that Cristal BITCH has sabotaged her son's Precious Project. And then...who knows?
But I think one of the Colbys is going to be the next casualty (season finale, perhaps?)

Jeff's hospital dream/flashback of his mother was a bit Knots Landing wasn't it? It kind of reminded me of Ann Mathieson's suicide flashback.

If we hear that Kirby is being written out, I'd say that is a pretty good indication that this change in tone we've seen in the last three episodes is not some temporary thing.

I was listening to some co-workers discussing some sappy Hallmark movie one of them had watched recently. I can't stand those kinds of saccharine movies, but one of them mentioned how she loved "what he said in the ending scene". "Did he stick her head in the fireplace?" I asked sarcastically, and of course they looked at me like I was nuts. It then occurred to me that every time someone tries to describe a Hallmark movie, someone ought to add "...and then he stuck her head in the fireplace." Total conversation killer.

The same could be said for Sammy Jo, he's the one with all those crazy life-changing plotlines (baby Matthew, the guru, the influencer). Kirby is only his sidekick.
He got some meatier stuff in the last episodes thanks to Steven but will this be the end of all the photoshoots in the Carrington living room? I want to hope it, but...

Well I guess it all depends on Adam and how he interprets the situation.:D

It's just a bit mind boggling how characters like Kirby, Fallon and Sammy Jo can be in the same show as someone like Adam. And the fireplace facial is like some Game Of Thrones shit being added to an episode of Pretty Little Liars. I just don't get it? How? Why? They cant have both these things occurring at once!

Also... Blake and Cristal are responsible for the death and concealment of Mack. It's like this versions Roger Grimes plot, only Blake really did do it! The body is even in the lake!

And the killing of Mark Jennings was pretty brutal and unexpected too. It did get a lot darker but you know they are gonna go back to shit with the tweenies next week. It's so off putting when it actually appears to be getting somewhat good.

Except what Alexis did was set fire to Fallon's room. Kirby took care of everything else. Though I still like the idea of Kirby being a pyromaniac.

I mean, a pyromaniac would be a good match for a guy who has no qualms about burning his own mother's face. ^^

Season 1 got much better in its last 8 or 9 episodes. Maybe there's a pattern?
As others have pointed out, maybe it's better to do a 15 eps season. I still wouldn't expect every episode to be high-octane but at least it could eliminate the rubbish.
It breaks my heart when all those fabulous sets are wasted on incredibly stupid and annoying scenes.

Actually, I'm curious how a love-triangle between Adam, Kirby and Jeff would go *this* time around.
