I'm surprised Dominique had any animal print clothing left to lend to ol' Scorpio.

In that TVLine interview Josh Reims says the Moldavian massacre "won't be a massacre," so I'm assuming Ryan/Scorpio will live to shake his money-maker for years to come. It made me gag when he said they might bring back Fletcher/Not!Steven to make it a love triangle. Love Triangles on soaps only work when the viewers care about all three of the participants, and...well....

It also bothered me that they said the Bride Tribe had gone to Las Vegas, when I'm 99% sure they said they went to New Orleans. But hey, seems everyone was hazy about that night! I loved how Kirby was wearing that hideous prom dress, her makeup all askew, and no one really took time to dwell on it. It was like, "yeah, we all got problems, sister."

Maybe it's me being overly optimistic again, but could he have thrown out a red herring? With Anders researching Adam's past it feels like he might end up tracking his movements before he arrived in Atlanta, leading him to find out that he was in Paraguay and then Paris...

...and potentially leading to you know...Anders son...Steven.

A french website had an exclusive interview with Adam Hubert (Liam). Here some small revelations about episodes 21 & 22
The finale was about Liam & Fallon 's wedding. With tender moments. Of course, Liz would have sung a song to Liam.
Evan Tate would have done everything he could to stop the wedding.

Adam also says that it may still happen in season 4, but writers can change things.

I saw a brief (three-ish minutes) interview with Daniella Alonso on that site, as well. She said she would be THRILLED if they decided to do the Krystle/Rita Evil Twin story (well, I think she said thrilled--my French is kinda rusty but it was definitely something she would like to do).

Sounds to me that the Dynasty folks know what side their bread is buttered on and have dispatched several of their stars to do interviews with European social-media sites in the lead-up to Season Three's release on Netflix.

Every time something like this looks possible, I end up disappointed, so I'm not going to buy in. Even though I would be thrilled with a capital T if Anders did learn about what happened with Adam and Steven and rectified the situation (translation: bump Adam off). I'm just not going to allow myself back onto that boat. My money's on him figuring out Adam's role in his adoptive mother's death, or maybe find out he did something equally heinous that we haven't learned about as of yet. Anders knows he had a juvy record, but Adam has large, unexplored chunks of his life waiting to be written.

When the show runner says "love triangle" between Sam, Ryan, and Fletcher (ewww) I just hope he's actually thinking "Steven" instead of Fletcher. But didn't speak out to keep the surprise. It would have been so great to have Steven back for the finale. On youtube, the very short promo video for latest episode, has many comments of fans wanting Steven back : read them here

The guys from the french website just asked on twitter to Elaine Hendrix if she would agree an to do an interview too. I hope she will agree.

YouTube commenters are generally regarded somewhere between lobotomy patients and untrained monkeys playing with typewriters.

I agree, however, that if they ever planned to bring Steven back, they would swear everyone to secrecy and probably have actors use a generic audition script for some unknown character as if they're hiring some new person...not announce it the way they announced the New Cristals.

If they did bring Steven back I'd assume it'd be one of the very last scenes of the season either way - they could even have used a stand-in a la Kirby and re-cast over the summer or rather negotiate with MacKay over the summer hiatus. He was up for returning the last season finale to film a brief scene, so I don't think he harbours any bitterness towards the show plus I really don't think it was actually the writers/producers that made the call to axe him last season.

I can understand viewers wishing for the return of Steven (James MacKay). Of all the characters, past and present, Steven was the one with a moral center and Dynasty desperately needs it. I don't understand how Sam can remain when he would be the constant reminder Steven is out there somewhere. How do the writers justify to the viewers this guy is out there without Anders wishing to find out what happened to his son. Does Alexis 2.0 ask for him? Does Fallon? Does anyone? The character of Sam may rate well with viewers but I cannot defend his existence around the Carrington family.

This is why Dynasty fails on many levels. If the head honchos of The CW don't care to bring back Steven (James MacKay) then just kill the character off-screen but somehow his death effects Adam.

Is Sam really that popular with the viewers? How come?

Cute inoffensive gay guy who cracks jokes. For whatever reason that tends to go down with tween/teenage girl viewers a lot of the time - I guess it's because they might be seen as sexually non-threatening? I'm sure there's some sort of psychology there.

As much as I like the actor and character, this is exactly the thing I feared would happen when they turned Sammy Jo into a gay guy - soaps of this kind are just not ready to have a full time gay schemer like a gay Sammy Jo would in theory be, so instead they went and neutered him.

The situations are so frenetic and everyone is so focused on the matters at hand (current plot) that no one has mentioned him or the situation that happened in Paris. Basically once Sam was granted his divorce they wrote as if Steven no longer existed. Someone referred to "your son" (Adam) in front of Alexis a few episodes back and I cynically added "your eldest son" toward the screen since she didn't react as if there were more than one. I think the writing team has been instructed not to name-drop him, either, since there are situations where it would make sense to mention him even if he's not part of the canvas at present. This is not unique to Dynasty, of course---soaps tend to purposely ignore characters once they "leave town", even when family events (weddings, funerals) occur that would bring them back to visit/attend. No one has name-dropped Monica Colby since she went to New York, even though it was stated that it was a temporary trip--not even her best friend Fallon, who would most certainly have Monica as her Maid of Honor at the Big Wedding. We don't even know how Monica feels about having Alexis as a sister-in-law.

The traditional signal that the character is soon to return is hearing the characters start mentioning him/her again in dialogue.

I'm not sure why, but that ridiculous dress that Kirby woke up in has stuck with me. I recall some publicity shots were floating around that featured her in that...thing and sporting wrecked mascara/eye make-up. We all speculated at the time that she looked as if she'd been attacked (by Adam?). Apparently their crazy night out was the reason her make-up was ruined, and the overall look was "Prom Night Walk of Shame" that she carried well. Imagine my shock to find out the dress was not some vintage piece from a Goodwill store or the Salvation Army:

Still, I hope Kirby burned that thing once she got back to the hotel...if they were allowed back in the hotel, that is.

I actually sort of liked this episode, it was strangely refreshing. And that Ryan / Scorpio guy seems lovely (among other things) and might give Sam a much needed purpose for the 4th season. What surprised me in a positive way is the fact that they brought back "the fireplace incident".;) But Fallon should get married already because there has been way too much wedding talk for my taste (I cannot be the only one who finds it incredibly annoying).
