The baby shower is "tomorrow". Today, Fallon is launching her first hydro-electric power plant. After cutting the ribbon, we see a big puff of black smoke that is NOT part of the celebration. Ellen (Fallon's board member) wants to put the kibosh on the whole plan, saying it is a financial drain. Fallon of course won't listen. Later in the day, Fallon discovers the board of Fallon Unlimited is having an emergency meeting because the power plant has gone down and taken FSN off the air (among other things). Their verdict: sell off MorrellCorp or they will do it
after they fire her.
Sam and Ryan spent the previous night together and plan to have dinner to "define" what they are to one another. I can think of one rather rude term for it, but it's not CW-friendly. Elsewhere, Culhane has decided he wants to propose to Nina and wants advice (from Sam) on how to stage it.
Alexis is ordering everyone around while setting up for the baby shower, including "volunteers" Amanda and Kirby. Kirby is desperate to make up with Amanda, but Amanda's not so sure. The scene features all sorts of gaudy, overdone baby-themed props, but Alexis says you can never do too much for your kids.
Kirby later tries to visit Amanda at the hospital but instead runs into Graham, a friend who is recovering from some sort of ankle injury. They seem to have been friends for some time, though I don't recall meeting him. He advises Kirby to stop trying to figure out why Amanda is so frosty and just ask her. Amanda confesses she doesn't know how she fits into Kirby's life, with a few light digs on Kirby's aimlessness. Just as things are looking up for the two, "Judge Florence" shows up on the manor doorstep (as in the woman Amanda was involved with in the UK).
Liam's secret about the stolen manuscript is no longer a secret---that nephew of the real author that Liam tried to help has figured out what happened and wants a big pay-off. Liam gets that familiar, constipated look. He later gives the kid a big chunk of money.
One of Blake's PPA planes has gone missing with a high-profile client on board, and he freaks out---yelling at Cristal (as if this is her fault or something) and making her angry. He gets Jeff to help search for system malfunctions in the software (or whatever) which is surprising since Jeff and Blake HATE each other. Jeff and Blake spar over the proper way to handle the situation. Whatever the case, Jeff continues to do his computer voodoo to find the missing plane, which he does. Blake apologizes and they decide they ought to start over.
It's shower time, and it's.....well, over the top. In the midst of all the presents and such, Fallon and Liam give Stacey a key to the manor. Stacey inadvertently tells L&F that
they're having a daughter.
Elsewhere in the manor, Adam is packing to leave. Stacey thinks things will "cool off" between Adam and Blake and he will be able to move back soon. She spots a certain bottle in his bag, the chemical we saw (and she vaguely remembers) Adam placing on her lips when she passed out several episodes back. It's atrapine. After the shower she confronts him---he gave her mushroom tea, and the atrapine is a convenient way to counteract mushroom poisoning. She is horrified he endangered her and the baby and never wants to see Adam again. He wants to "keep it between them," but she announces that she's already told someone. Cristal then steps into the room. She said she had tried to be "on his side" (he cured her brain tumor, remember) but now? She never wants him to set foot in the manor again. He looks ready to cry.
Dom and her bodyguard are back from LA (?) and it appears they have gotten a lot closer. They discover that a precious hard drive has been stolen from her loft, a hard drive she was holding for Jeff. Who even knew she had it? His girlfriend Gemma did, apparently.....and she is working for that pharmaceutical guy that Jeff humiliated earlier in the season. She's also taken another hard drive from Jeff's own safe.
Graham "auditions" for the majordomo position during the shower, and Cristal hires him simply for bringing her (and Sam) a drink.
Nina accepts Culhane's proposal "with absolute certainty". But they're now planning to move to Los Angeles. Sam tells Ryan that although he likes Ryan, he's not "in love with him," and that Ryan deserves someone who will totally love him.
Blake gets a call about the search for the plane. The plane went down in the Appalachians, and Blake also discovers the identity of the "high-level executive" who was on the plane: Dex Dexter.
Fallon's decision about MorrellCorp? She's going to take Morrell private. Ellen says "not so fast"....She intends to get the board to vote her way and to take over the company herself. Fallon has another corporate raider trying to take her stuff.
Graham finds Adam loading some of his things into the car. After introducing himself, Graham chloroforms Adam and stuffs him into the truck of the car, declaring that Adam has hurt too many people and it is time to pay.
Could he be....?

I'd love to see an alt-universe where Kirby is Anders's successor, fighting off Moldavian assassins and pulling guns on people. We could call her Kung Fu Barbie.
There had been chatter about a lot of "mysterious" filming overnight in a secluded, wooded area for the series finale, leading to speculation they would be doing the UFO story. I hope this stuff is all they were filming.
