[QUOTE="Jason73, post: 242937, member: 3"] Boy, the show is really shoving Janice down our throats. Lately she's been in more episodes than Eden or Kelly. First she's the Lockridge chauffeur, then she's flirting with Warren, then she's Dylan's ex girl friend, then she's posing for nude pictures for Nick, then she's dating Mason and then she's revealed to be Mark's ex wife who falsely testified for him to get him cleared of malpractice charges, plus now she has a stalker. The actress is likable but she's just not strong enough to carry all this material and in spite of now being connected to half the town, she's not someone who I tune in to watch. Kirk continues to send Eden blackmail notes and his schemes pay off when a shaken Eden finally consummates her marriage with him. He's so diabolical and it's really fun to watch. Brick learning that he's Lionel and Sophia's son is the best thing to happen to the character. Richard Eden has been great as Brick grapples with the truth and it's given him and Amy some really nice scenes as he comes to terms with his identity. There's so much chemistry and spark between Brick and Amy and now that he's connected to the show's two main families, they should have been a core couple that stuck with the show for years. Unfortunately that's not what's going to happen. After running off with Brandon, Gina learns that the courts have given custody of Brandon back to her, so they return to Santa Barbara, after a cat fight with Santana who can't stand that she's lost Brandon again. Robin Mattson really is brilliant in the role, she can go from down on her luck loser to gloating bitch in the blink of an eye. She's not a villain. She's mostly a wasted opportunity. Santana comes from the wrong side of the tracks and managed to build herself into a glamorous, wealthy decorator. They should have made her a scheming bitch who was constantly a thorn in the Capwell's side. She was the closest to this in one of her earlier incarnations played by Ava Lazar, who is my favorite of the Santana's. In her current incarnation she's mostly a Cruz and Eden spoiler and a doormat. The current actress plays her in a very neurotic, watchable way, but it's very different to the character's potential. I don't think it ends up going that way, but I don't remember for sure. I do remember that ultimately it ends with Kelly shoving Dylan out of the window of the Capwell Hotel where he plunges to his death and Kelly institutionalized so that Robin Wright can go off to film The Princess Bride.
