I have a busy day ahead of me so, of course, I need to take time to post this. How many times has someone called someone else a snake, particularly a viper?
Sue Ellen called Mandy a viper.
Alexis called Sable a viper.
Alexis' secretary called ColbyCo a "ship of vipers."
Juloa on FC called her family a snakepit.
Any others?

Angela called Richard a snake. Mark Graison called JR a snake. Clayton called JR a snake. James called JR a snake. Michelle called JR a snake. John Ross called JR a snake. JR called Alan Beam a snake. JR called Jeremy a snake. JR called Cliff a double-crossing snake and lower than a snake's belly. Danny Waleska called himself as low as a snake’s belly. Sue Ellen called Kimberly Mrs Snake. Sue Ellen called her nonexistent agent Jeff a creepy little snake that lied. John Ross called Marta Del Sol a snake when it comes to business. Cliff calls JR that snake brother of Bobby’s. Judith Ryland called Southfork a pit of broken marriages. Dominique called Alexis a viper. Cliff called Pam a viper who lives with vipers. Nice!
The writers need to diversify. Instead of snake and viper how about constrictor, copperhead, python, mamba? Lol

"Viper" is a very Dynasty word. It makes sense Sue Ellen called Mandy that during Dallas' Dynasty phase. It fits perfectly with shoulder pads and big hats. "Lower than a snail's belly" is very Southern and fits Dallas' early year.
I don't know where "copperhead " or "cobra " would fit. Maybe NuDynasty.

Michelle once called JR a smiling cobra. And Blake once referred to Ben and Alexis as the scorpion and the cobra (I'm not sure which was which). And Kimberly Cryder called her husband a black mamba. Oh, and Matthew Blaisdel told Fallon she was as about as convincing as a rattlesnake that's been taught to purr.

Thank you. I don't remember these. I'd like to find the scene between Fallon and Matthew in YouTube.
People don't use these dramatic terms in real life, which is a shame. They're a lot of fun and better than just straight profanity.
Maybe there should be a thread of top animal related insults. Right now my favorite is, "Cutting you off, you viper!" Only Sue Ellen could deliver that so perfectly. However, Matthew's line to Fallon is a runner up:)

Blake once said, "Lay down with vipers, wake up with fangs in your neck."

I'm sure it was about, and probably to, Alexis.

Jock on Jeb Ames and Willie Joe Garr: They're about as trustworthy as two stepped-on rattlesnakes.
