Star Maidens is a British-German science fiction television series that first aired in 1976 on the British ITV and a year later on German ARD.
Star Maidens is repeated every few years on German tv, so most German science fiction fans know the series, but what about in the UK? Do TV audiences there remember the series?
I enjoyed the first few episodes of Star Maidens, but as the format transitioned into standalone episodes, I lost interest. The finale was better than expected, but I still don't know if Star Maidens was conceived as a miniseries or if a second season wasn't produced due to lack of success.
