EastEnders' Ruby Allen and Max Branning are heading for a secret affair this summer that is set to stir some serious trouble in Albert Square.

In an upcoming storyline, Max (Jake Wood) will offer Ruby (Louisa Lytton) some help with her business proposal, but very soon the pair will find how much they actually have in common.

The soap is teasing some major sparks between the two as they decide to embark on a secret fling.

Max and some younger woman....again... this is Stacy and Lucy all over again, aren’t the writers able to come up with more storylines? Rather than redoing old ones, in a few years time Max will have an affair with Whitney at this rate
