This is my new favourite current TV show. I'm a bit late to the Ted Lasso party and I've only started watching it a few days ago and was blown away by it. For those not familiar with the show, it's a comedy about a minor league American football coach who it hired to manage a English premier league football team. Unknown to him, the owner chose him because she got the football team as part of her divorce settlement and she wants to destroy the club to spite her ex-husband who loves the team.

It's not just a very funny show it's heart-warming and a masterclass in how to manage. I've managed large teams of people in the past and I think I'm a good and experienced manager but I've learnt stuff about how to mentor, encourage staff and empower them by watching how Ted handles those he works with. He is also one of the nicest people on the planet and an excellent role model.

When watching this series there are times when I have tears running down my face because I'm laughing so much and times when I'm crying because I'm emotionally moved by something I've seen. Ted Lasso quite simply is the best thing on TV at the moment.

I’ve been planning on watching this for a good few weeks and today I decided to start recording it so it’s in my pouch and then I learn it’s not on Sky but another streaming site that wants my money. I can’t commit to another service when I have a long list of shows already on Sky, Paramount and Netflix. Damn!!

It's just a silly little sitcom about an underdog football team but it also one of the most beautifully written, funny and heart-warming series on TV. Season 3 started slowly but it built to a thrilling climax which in typical Ted Lasso style had me laughing one minute and crying the next. Is it over the top to say it is one of the greatest television shows of all time? Incredible stories, characters, it dealt with some pretty heavy stuff along the way while being funny and uplifting to the last minute and concluded with a near perfect ending. AFC Richmond forever.

Believe!

Ive never seen Ted Lasso (Ive only got normal telly!) But Chris Evans on Virgin never stops going on about it and had him as a guest on show a few weeks back
It seems to be popular x

If you ever get a chance to watch it you should. I can completely understand why Chris Evans is talking about it because it's quite brilliant. It's one of my all time favourite TV series.

As an Arsenal fan, I loved this detail from the final episode. When Beard is giving his team talk before the match, the drawing he makes is reminiscent of the one that Mikel Arteta did in the Amazon documentary Arsenal: All or Nothing.

Another great detail was when Trent Crim was doing a book signing, the cover of his book to AFC Richmond's season was only on screen for about a second but it contained a great joke at the bottom: "With A Very Brief Forward By Roy Kent". It was so fast, I missed it the first time I watched the episode.

I've just finished watching all three seasons of Ted Lasso. I haven't laughed that hard in decades. But it's much more than a funny sitcom. It's so heart-warming, touching and positive, I call it groundbreaking to include tough topis like anxiety attacks in such a way. During these 32 episodes I laughed, cheered, cried - which is hard to explain, that a TV product can so funny and stay positive. After having watched you want to be a better himan being.

The only downside is the binge watching today. Twenty years ago around here we would analyzed every single aspect here, made predictions between the seasons and now it's just one thread with a handful of messages for one of the best series of this century. Times change.

Highly recommend watching.
