That would give me far more joy than watching a man sit in a chair in Westminster Abbey to put on a hat.The government brought in emergency legislation last week to give police new powers to stop protests and that was what they used to prevent people from protesting against the King on Saturday. Labour didn&#039;t vote against it (the LibDems and Green Party opposed it) so I don&#039;t see that law being repealed any time soon.We are only a partial democracy. We are not permitted to elect our head of state and we are arrested and detained for 16 hours when we protest against that injustice. That&#039;s not my definition of democracy.</blockquote>
