This was a show that started on hbo and I think
Moved to Basic cable usa network or something. It started with the hitchhiker prologueing the episode but the connection ends there.

The HBO versions had at least a few exposed boobs per episode, since...well, it was HBO after all. They sanitized the versions that aired on USA, and in doing so many of the episodes failed to make sense, since the majority of the plot progression occurred in the edited-out parts. I believe they produced the show in Canada? It had that "looks like the US, but is somehow not the US" look about them. But I mainly recall this show because they took the usual anthology series premise and gave it the 1980s-HBO treatment, not only with gratuitous nudity, but more graphic violence.

I only remember seeing maybe one episode and not the whole thing. It was one of those shows that I had to sneak watch and was never able to, but it stuck in my mind.
