Many years ago, I bought Spielberg&#039;s Close Encounters Of The Third Kind on Blu-ray and I think that has three different versions. But I&#039;ve never got round to watching the extended versions because the film felt so &quot;right&quot; as it was. I&#039;m also very grateful that the enhancements Steven Spielberg had made to Jaws for HD are incredibly subtle, with stuff that we don&#039;t notice, such as colour grading so that the sky matches up from shot to shot, That&#039;s interesting. I&#039;d wondered if they&#039;d changed it because some language wasn&#039;t as acceptable in the 21st Century. But that&#039;s just because I can&#039;t think why else they would re-dub it.
